I think so too and hopefully I'll be able to take advantage of it. But if not, I bought a doll earlier today with the 25% coupon plus my REDcard discount so I'm good either way.
-
Just checked the Cartwheel app and it says today's deal is for a Monsters High doll, not Our Generation. How disappointing. I was so looking forward to this since Saturday is the only day of the week I can get to my Target at opening time. Guess I'll use the Coupon anyway. Can always return/rebuy if Target puts out another deal on OG dolls.
-
Looking forward to seeing price matches elsewhere on those TV seasons.
-
Used the coupon today and had 2 Our Generation items. I told the cashier I wanted the coupon applied to the scooter and she told me I could use it more than once so she scanned it 2 times, once for each item and she gave it back to me! I plan on stacking it with the cartwheel offer tomorrow on a doll. WOOT!

That's what I thought and that's ok. I only need one doll so I'll use Cartwheel for that and the coupon for the accessory item. And thanks for this thread. Since seeing the updated list, I have been saving that coupon for this because every other toy I need/want is excluded from the coupon. Naturally....

Me too. I need a doll and accessories. I've held on to my 25% off coupon so I will have that to use as well.

Thanks! Just got the tea party set!

Which Black Friday Store Ad(s) are You Most Looking Forward to Seeing?
HanShotFirst replied to magickallight's topic in 2014
Walmart, Target, Best Buy, Office Max/Depot, and Staples. -
LOL. AR I was on vacation and we were grocery shopping for the week.

How long have you been shopping on Black Friday?
HanShotFirst replied to magickallight's topic in 2014
About 20 years or so. Mostly done at my small hometown Walmart while visiting family for Thanksgiving. Walmart used to be the only game in town (now there's Fred's and Dollar General) and I can't imagine not going really, whether I need anything or not. I always run into old friends and classmates so it can actually be quite fun, even though the deals don't seem to be as good as they used to be. -
I don't mind this too much as I've been able to find things in the discards that I couldn't get my hands on earlier.
-
Yes, I absolutely buy for myself on BF. I consider what I buy my birthday gifts to myself. I love the cheap DVD's and the throw blankets. There's always several things at Walmart and Target that I want for the house as well. This year I'll be on the lookout for sheets and pillows at Target, cheap DVD's from Amazon or Walmart, and perhaps a new crock-pot.

Add another hoarder/obsessor of wrapping paper. I have a ton and I don't even have a large family. I only have to buy a handful of gifts every year but yet I continue to buy wrapping paper. Last year, I gathered up some unopened rolls I had "stuck back" for goodness knows what and donated it to my hometown fire department for them to use during their Toys for Tots drive.

I have a 5S and oddly enough it works better now since I updated to iOs 8 than it did before. I was having to type in the code about half the time as well.
-
No later than the weekend before Thanksgiving. I love coming back home from the holiday weekend with my family to an already decorated house and tree.

My biggest pet peeve is the teenagers who think it's fun to just hang out acting silly and just generally being in the way while those of us there to shop have to fight to move amongst them. It's terrible at my local Walmart. This has been the biggest negative for me for the earlier start times.

Boy! This would be fun to win! I can't wait for Black Friday! -
I've got $6.87 saved up so far. Funnily enough, I had to travel to Myrtle Beach to save the majority of that $6.87. Not that that was a hardship though. I don't expect to save huge amounts every time since I do buy a lot of store brand items but every little bit that I do save is nice.

Report: Target suffers Black Friday hack at 'nearly all' stores
HanShotFirst replied to Brad's topic in 2013
Day 2 and still no luck getting through online or by telephone. Was able to finally get to a point on the automated phone system where I could hear a list of all my transactions. Thankfully I can account for all of them up to today. Trying not to get angry over it but the more time that passes until I can cancel my REDcard the more frustrated I get. What a huge mess. -
Report: Target suffers Black Friday hack at 'nearly all' stores

Been trying to log into MyREDcard all morning to have a look at my transactions, ensure I can account for everything, and the page won't even open. Anyone else experiencing this? -
"The Leftovers" thread... What's collecting dust in stores?
HanShotFirst replied to 1whodatdare's topic in 2013
Went to both the Walmart Supercenters here this morning and between the two there was lots and lots of BF items left. I was shocked quite honestly because normally by this time these 2 Supercenters are back to normal so to speak Here's what I found leftover: *Rubbermaid storage containers *An entire end cap full of the Garth Brooks boxed set (not really surprised at this) *Tons of the Keurigs (2 pallets full at one store alone) *3 of the 60" Vizio TV's *A pallet full of the hockey tables *an end cap full of the toaster ovens *sheet sets (what?!?!, these are never left over here) *probably 30-40 boxes of the huge $10 boxes of Russell Stover candy *tons of movies/TV shows *PJ's of all sizes and ages *about 20 of the genie bras *HUGE bin of the colorful fashion socks Target still had tons of movies/TV Shows in their BF displays but no sign of any other leftovers that I could see -
Black Friday lines pathetic compared to years past!
HanShotFirst replied to TazErase's topic in 2013
Small Walmart supercenter in rural Arkansas not too bad at all. We got there around 5pm and were able to get everything we wanted, nothing to be upset over if we missed them either. Found a short checkout line and were only 4 people deep in that. Back home and in my PJ's by 6:25 pm. Crowds did seem smaller this year here as a whole although some parts of the store were not easily navigable due to the lines for the doorbusters/guaranteed items. -
Official One-and-Only "What I Got" & "My Black Friday Experience" Thread

Target online: $35 Threshold ottoman $8 House of Cards DVD $6 Pitch Perfect DVD $19.99 Biddeford heated throw blanket Best Buy online: Logitech harmony remote Walmart online: $15 Farberwear toaster oven Amazon $6 Silver Linings Playbook DVD $10.96 Monsters University Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital copy $9.96 Breaking Bad DVD's. Seasons 1-5 Office Depot (Friday in store) 50% Speck iPhone 4S case $3.99 800-sheet Bonus pack hp printer paper My Mom, sister and I decided to brave the crowds at our local Walmart for the 6 pm sale and ended up walking out with the $8.88 package of Sharpies, 4 of the $5 genie bras, 2 pair of the $9.50 men's Wrangler jeans, and the $28.88 Beautyrest memory foam mattress topper. Checked out and back to my parent's house by 6:25 pm. All in all I say that is the best Walmart experience we've had in quite some time, despite the annual towel fight. Maybe that's because it's the first year we've never needed a door buster item. Are those towels really worth fighting for?? LOL. I make it a point to stay far away from that area! Just happened to be in the checkout line and saw the towels flying through the air and heard all the ruckus of the shouting. One more trip in the morning to Fred's for iTunes cards and that's it for me. -
I tried to use that coupon on a Shuffle just last night and the system kept giving the error message that "not enough quantity entered". The associate was unable to override it so we decided that perhaps the coupon was only good for multiple iPods being purchased? Either that or the Shuffles were not eligible. Makes no sense because neither of these limitations were listed on the coupon itself. I would have fought harder but the shuffle is very inexpensive compared to the other models, and at least my REDcard discount paid for the taxes.
