Put a fork in me.....I'm done. Two days of vertigo and lord I feel like I went on the world's longest bender. Finally back to normal I think. LOL

Hope everyone in the path of this massive possible severe weather outbreak stays safe tonight and tomorrow.

After 11 days off, work beckons me back tomorrow. I've had a headache for 2 days already. Healthcare is NOT "where it's at" these days. ugh.

I got an Eiffel Tower Lego set a couple of year ago for Christmas and have yet to find time to work on it. I keep thinking that would be a perfect snow day project except we haven't had any measurable snow in at least 3 years.....we used to get at least one round of snow every year and I miss it! I know I would feel differently if I lived in the places that get feet of snow every year but since I don't I want the snow.

Happy New Year! Time to get my house back in order with these few days left of my vacation. ugh.

Merry Christmas everyone! If you’re like me and have to work today/tomorrow then may your day fly by quickly. I’ve just started my 12-hr shift so I’m looking at a long day followed by a 2-hour drive to my Christmas.

My only experience is receiving a stocking and the “stuffers” were never wrapped. Gift cards were all in a GC holder but everything else was just stuffed in.

ooof. That stinks.

Happy to say that I am done and my guest bed is mostly cleared off! LOL! All but one gift is in a QVC Kringle Express bag and I can 100% attest that they are huge back and time savers. I only had to actually wrap one gift and that one was such a headache (it was odd shaped) and a backbreaker because I had to get in the floor! Ha! I still have enough bags to last another 2 Christmases probably because I just keep buying another set every year and don't use them all. Now I can sit back, enjoy the overflowing tree, watch Christmas movies and work on my gingerbread house for the rest of the week.

Me too!! I just think it's the cutest thing and reminds me of Wilbur! Love that little wooden sign!

Two weeks to go and I’m still shopping!! Ack!! Gift plans derailed for my dad so now I’m having to start over. Obviously he still hasn’t figured out that one simply does not go and buy big things for oneself at this time of year.......smh and lol. Goofy man.

I've gotten about half of the gifts wrapped. So now, instead of the gifts being piled on the guest bed, it's wrapping supplies now. LOL. Maybe after Christmas I'll get that bed back to being clear.

Came home from a very long and very busy 12-hour workday today to my SS gift at the front door! Who knew USPS would deliver today. Anywho, I found some wonderful surprises inside and I couldn't be happier. I got a John Grisham book I havent' read yet (yahoo), a Hallmark Keepsake Ornament of a snowman singing Elvis' Blue Christmas (snowmen and Elvis are 2 of my favorite things) and then a host of my 3rd favorite thing....Harry Potter jewelry charms! Thank you so so much Secret Santa!!!!!

I went. I couldn't not go! LOL. I called my store Friday night to inquire of their opening time and she said 3 AM. I swear I think I must have cursed at her because she died laughing. Needless to say I did not get there at 3 AM, instead I got there at 9:30 AM. I was pleasantly surprised that they were limiting the number of people in the store so that there was actually room to shop. I was about 8 people back in the line to get in the store so not bad at all except it was a little chilly and I didn't wear a coat, expecting chaos in the store, therefore me burning up. They handed out candy canes and the paper containers to carry the candles while in line. I went intending to get only 4 and ended up with 8. Ha!. The only real glitch that held things up was the registers crashed and took a bit to get them back online but by the time I got in the store and gathered up my loot they were working again. Two lines in the store with every register open. There was an employee standing at the head of both lines directing us to registers. There were plenty of employees there, helping to find particular scents and constantly restocking. Anyway, it only ended up taking me an hour total so I was happy I went. The first and only time I had gone on candle day I vowed to never do it again. The store was packed, the checkout lines were wrapped around the entire store in no form or fashion so you didn't even know where to go to get in line. You couldn't shop. People were just grabbing candles, saying they would exchange later on. Long story short, I'm glad I went and got a gift knocked out and enough for me to last through the year.

I'm sorry about your turtle. I don't have pets but know many who do and when they are lost it's heartbreaking I know.

I can't decide if I want to brave the annual Bath and Body Works candle sale. I need a few for myself but not sure the chaos will be worth it. LOL.

Got mine shipped out yesterday and I’m still in shock that I didn’t have to stand in a looooong line at the post office. Guess it was my lucky day.
-
LOL! I’m in the same boat with $60 to spend with the $30 KC, $20 Y2Y reward and $10 birthday gift. I have to at least use the KC this week.

LOL! My guest bed is a complete disaster from all the goodies that have been delivered from early BF shopping. Some are gifts and some are mine. I’ll straighten it all out later this week when I’m off for my weekend.

Just got back from Walmart doing some grocery shopping after being gone all weekend and I was shocked at how much BF stuff they had left, marked as “Managers special” now. I guess the most shocking was an entire pallet full of the Pioneer Woman gadget sets and half a pallet of her cookware. They still had Instant Pots, shop vacs, TV’s, and tons of the big toys left. I was even able to get the outdoor lighted Snowmen Family that I wanted today!

December 1.....I just don’t understand what is happening to this year!?! Back to reality today of work today after a long holiday weekend.
