Well, if they do their markdowns like this from now on I think I could get used to not having a coupon. If those $2.00 items were ticked the old way at 3.97 or 4.97 even with a coupon it's cheaper this way. I'm just going to wait and see what happens. I'm happy with all my deals though!

Yes, I know those are the days. They usually start Thursday evenings which is why I was there. Lots of the womens hats, scarf sets, etc... were $1.00 today! I was just worried that with the changes they weren't going to have clearance as good as they used to but they are.

Ran into my Penneys today and they marked all the "older" tagged ladies and junior clothes $2.00!! Petite and Plus too. They are doing some great pricing at my store. I love Penneys again! I'm going back first thing in the morning because they haven't yet done all the mens, kids, lingerie, etc... I hope to find some good deals in those depts too!. Happy Shopping!

I just stopped in and all that bulk stuff is gone. The signs are still there (15% off) but all the shelves are empty. I couldn't find it moved to any endcaps either. There was alot there last night. Strange.

Correction-it is at my store. They told me it started on Friday! I can't believe I missed it all weekend although they did have tons left. They said TODAY is the last day. They also gave me an extra 20% with that coupon. Got some great deals! Thanks OP.

Not happening here. I just called (I will go later to double check) but they told me there had been no changs. They said this coming weekend they are doing another round.

I'm a mega clearance shopper at my local Penneys. The manager there is awesome. Here's what he told me. After it goes to the 80% off then they will leave it to the stores again to mark it what they want. So there still might be some good deals. I'm giving it a try even though initially I couldn't stand the idea. I also think those signs are pretty hard to read for someone who is nearsighted! I used to be able to see what racks to hit from across the room but those tiny dollar amts don't show up real well. I know the smaller signs probably make for a "sleeker" appearance but I don't like them. I actually loved that screaming commercial. I thought it was a hoot. Ok, so I'm a little weird! Right now all the ladies and jr. coats are $20.00. They said they would be that price through the weekend and then they were sending them back to the warehouse. I'll probably stop by on Monday just to check.

It's the usual home clearance they almost always have going on-frames, pillows, ceramic, etc...

I think they need the room for their Christmas ornaments!. They have tons of it left and actually some really nice things this time around. Now I'm just waiting for the gardening type stuff to get clearanced out.

Still 70% off here and not much of anything good left unless you are into Easter grass and cheap baskets! The dollar spot is 75% off but they haven't changed the signage yet.

It was a rush, that's for sure! They did something similar after back to school with Sharpies, etc... 10 cents, 25 cents, etc... I have enough to last forever! :)

It was only 70% off here and dollar spot still 50% off. HOWEVER, I got the deal of the century at Walmart. I stopped there around 4:30 and I asked the girl when the Easter stuff was going to go to 75% and she said it's all 10 cents! So I got tons of stuff for Operation Christmas Child adn my friends. I even got those Easter Furr Real pets for 10 cents! It was a blast.

I'm sure everyone at my Target (and Kohls and Penneys) knows me by now and know that I'm just a crazy shopper but I do chuckle sometimes thinking that if they are watching me on some kind of store camera they probably laugh their heads off!

Oh dear, I don't argue about that stuff anymore. I figure it's not worth the hassle. I know they don't get around to moving everything back to the regular spots fast enough but I don't need anything that badly anymore to make a big deal out of it. I will say that I was at Walmart about 1:30AM Monday and most of the Easter stuff scanned 50% off. The funny thing was they had those Furr Real mini pets with bunny ears on and packaged with pictures of eggs and an Easter basket and they were still full price! I did ask them to find out for sure about it and they said they were staying regular price. I did run over to Target around 9:00AM and found the last four there for half price so I was happy!
