Some things go on sale as cheap now as Black Friday. If it is something that is really useful to have before Black Friday that looks like a good price and probably will not go cheaper on Black Friday, get it now. Some stores/credit cards will let you return the item or report a lower price and give you back the difference in price so you can buy now and worry less about the price going lower. But if a store offers a price with a gift card or store cash or something similar it will probably make the price lower overall so waiting might pay off. If it is a must have toy or limited edition item you better buy it when you see it and not risk missing out while trying to find a lower price. Same if you want multiples of the same item for multiple gifts because Black Friday deals are often limited to 1 per person and may not be back in stock after Black Friday.

A few came earlier in the week but the big mass of ads that usually come on Thursday must be coming Thursday because there were no ads today. Sad since most stores already have their Black Friday sales online.

My friend has asked at customer service before and they have let her use expired Kohl's cash the following week- they say it can be used as long as the system accepts it.. I try to use mine before it expires. I usually buy washcloths or dish towels if I can't find something I want.Then I have a ready gift or something I can always use.

Yes! It's hard to find anything good any more. If you sort price low to high, it takes pages to get to anything that might be good.

I think spending overall will be down due to the uncertainty of privitization of Social Security which the Republicans have wanted for a long time and worry about repeal of obamacare which will leave many with high health care costs.

I think the Black Friday ads are not as good as usual. A lot of the same things have been on sale at that price already. Amazon had lower prices and better deals in October than they have had since the countdown to black friday started. A lot of the better deals seem to be missing this year. At least I haven't noticed many rebates. I try to avoid those.

Sat. Nov. 12 is the day I'm watching. Last year they had several of their Black Friday items on sale at the Black Friday prices. I haven't seen any mailing or emails on it from Sam's club yet.

I think Black Friday deals will be about the same. The factor that might have an influence is the reports of an improving economy. Retailers might figure they can offer deals that are not as good as before and still get the sales. But if the people do not think the economy is improving, they will have that extra weekend to mark things down before Christmas.

I love Black Friday shopping! I used to go with my daughters to early morning sales. Now everyone is older and living in other states. So it is easier and cheaper to buy some things online and have them shipped directly to the recepient. But there is always something to "find" for friends and relatives living close. I usually manage to hit a few stores even if I'm not looking for a doorbuster deal- I always find something.

I've ordered things online at Walmart and gotten the email to pick it up in the store and they do not have it. They don't seem to care.

Watch the Black Friday ads on this site. Last year they had the Kindles on sale in the gold box deals matching the ad prices other stores had. I got the new 7" one last year at another site on the Black Friday sale. It works well.

I've picked up some gift cards at 20% off and a few items at half price. I pick up stuff year round if it's a really good deal. Sometimes October and November sales are almost as good as Black Friday sales and the selection is better.

I think the big stores released the ads earlier last year than ever before. That's nice because sales seem to have started already. It is nice to be able to compare current sales to the Black Friday sales. I think they will be early this year too. Can't wait for Walmart pre holiday online sale either.

I really like this site. I like all the deals posted. I was surprised by the first ad being posted because deals are posted all year long.

I had a problem earlier in the year with a product on sale listed as in stock that I ordered to pick up in the store, but the store said it had been out for several weeks and they had told them to take it off the site. Last year I ordered online for their Black Friday items without problems.

I'm waiting for the big ads too. Disappointed so far.
