  1. All wonderful tips! I have already won a T-shirt, but wanted to tell my tips 1. Make a list and catagorize them by A. Must Haves B. Really Want C. Possibly want 2. Don't promise to pick up items for anyone! 3. Bring gum or a drink/I always get dry mouth and don't want to worry about my breath stinking 4. Try not to get too aggravated. Everyone is there just trying to get a deal too.
  2. Ok, I just checked and I have gotten back right at 1.5%. I like how it keeps up with receipts also. Very easy to see online.
  3. I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 and have never had a problem. I will have to look at my receipts vs what I have gotten back to get a % of money back.
  4. I have a clan! There are about 14-15 of us that go (cousins, SILs, etc) and we always use the divide and conquer method. Its always so fun!!!
  5. Thanks! I will wear my shirt with pride!!!! Congrats to the other winners!!
  6. I can't wait! It always seems to take longer every year! LOL! I know its always like this, but every year I seem to think it takes longer than the year before!! LOL
  7. I think it does like Health and Beauty aids also, at least mine does, cause I got a deal on some toothpaste. I have cashed out about $12 dollars in total. I get the email to load in my e card and then I get that in about 10 mins. And if I tell it to do that , it keeps adding to the total before I use it. Used it tonight and saved $6.87 on my bill.
  8. My daughter and niece stood in line all night for that camera. They still use it! It actually takes underwater pictures, very fun for pool!
  9. I liked when OldNavy gave away a game or camera, last year I don't think they did that. I love love love the free stuff!! I think Belk did the $5 scratch off, that was up to $500 or something, I won $10 one year!
  10. 1. The Walking Dead--Black Friday Edition 2. Let's pull him apart and see who gets their wish! 3. I think I am too young for this !!!
  11. Years ago, we also did the sitting around the table, making lists, and then see which stores we HAD to go to. But now, I get a sneak peek, and kinda tell the family what is good deals ahead of time, but we still make our lists of must haves and break into groups (there are 16 of us) and try to get everyone's items! This year, however, I have mainly done my shopping on line and am 75% done.
  12. Probably several years back - @ Wal-Mart the Nintendo DS games were really cheap, like $5. Those made my kids so happy that year. Next would be Pet Beds one year for $5 , I have three fur babies , so that was good.
  13. I have used it for about 4 weeks now and only gotten about $6 total, but hey, I will take it! I go to Wal-Mart 1x a week for grocery shopping so I just downloaded the app to my phone and scan my receipt while I am walking to the car, I get my results in about 3-4 days and just put it on a ecard and I have used it at check out just to see how easy it was---it was super easy, I pulled up the ecard on my phone and the cashier just punched in the number and viola' it took off the $2.xx credit.
  14. I have never camped out. But I have stood in lines for hours. I live in a fairly small town so the camping isn't necessary.
  15. My Mom is easy-she is addicted to her Kindle Fire so I get her gift cards so she can buy more books! My FIL is hard, I got him house shoes this year. My children have 3 living great-grandmothers, so they each got a coffee mug with the kids picture on it, $9.99 from WalMart photo. My Dad only wants money. DS & DD always make a long list. My other gifts are usually easy because they are for friends. But, that being said, my cousin made the best gift for her grandma a few years back. She got her an address book/date book and wrote down all the families anniversaries, birthdays, etc and then the addresses for everyone and made her a basket with that and a few books of stamps, all occasion cards, etc. so she could keep up with the dates of special occasions because she loved to send cards for those days. She loved it!!!
  16. Love the big pudding idea We also love that show. How about a hat like Carls/Ricks? Or get a toy bow/arrow like Darryl's?
  17. I have a village and it is just hodgepodge but I love it and think it has character. My kids (18 & 14) are still excited every year to set it all up and when it is all lit up, its awesome! I say go after whatever you like! The Kohls pieces are nice and the Dept 56 are also nice, but a little pricey.
  18. Boy, I wish we would get a Target. We only have a Wal-Mart and KMart in my area.
  19. Agreed with all above. Sometimes, I end up spending way too much money on myself!!! But I don't have to feel too guilty this year, cause I have most shopping done! Yeah me!
  20. I was able to get several toys today at Kmart because they have their clearance toys an add'l 50% off, these will be for angel tree kids. I usually am a Black Friday only shopper or mostly, but this year, I have been more organized and have tried to get things all year long. I feel better about it too!
  21. Wal-Mart of course, but I also love Kohl's, JC Penney, Belk, K-Mart (though I was disappointed last year) and Dollar General and Family Dollar, CVS, Walgreens, RiteAid, and Old Navy (also disappointed last year) . Wondering about Amazon this year, I have already gotten a good bulk ordered off Amazon.
  22. I just got ordered most of my Christmas online today. I got about 5-8 more gifts and then I am done. BUT I will probably still find something I can't live without on BF
  23. **Cookeville Tennessee WalMart had the sheets on sale (managers special) for $15 today! I took my receipt to the service counter and they gave me the difference! They still had three big boxes of them in the store....
