  1. I'm glad that it was at shipped out. However, it was shipped out 4-5 days after they said they shipped it. Ugh! I hope you get it in time for Christmas!
  2. Why didn't they contact you to let you know the order was lost? Did they credit your account as soon as they found out it was lost or did they hold on to it, hoping you wouldn't notice that you never received them. Good customer service, heck ANY customer service is such an easy and inexpensive thing to do!
  3. Great deal! I'm so bummed. I have to wear custom orthotics now and I'm not sure if I'll be able to wear any of my favorite sandals again. Chaco's have great support so hopefully by the spring I'll be able too!
  4. Of course I had to check tracking. I am obsessed with tracking numbers. This is what the site said Label/Receipt Number: 9102 1480 0860 0534 5119 69 Class: Package Services Service(s): Delivery Confirmation™ Status: Electronic Shipping Info Received The U.S. Postal Service was electronically notified by the shipper on December 17, 2010 to expect your package for mailing. This does not indicate receipt by the USPS or the actual mailing date. Delivery status information will be provided if / when available. Information, if available, is updated periodically throughout the day. Please check again later. So they said they shipped, but it appears that they haven't! OMG! So frustrating! I hope you get the locket for your daughter. I had a pendant custom made for my Mom from an artist on Etsy and it took less time for me to get it!
  5. The yearly price of Xbox Live has gone up, but it is still less than paying monthly. I think the new price is about $59.99 You should find out if your husband will want to play online. Like some of the other posters wrote many of the games do come with a free trial subscription. You may want to make sure he'll play online first because you won't be able to get a refund on the 12 month subscription if he doesn't end up using it. Check to see if you have a newer Xbox 360 because those come with the wifi built in.
  6. How about a new toiletry bag filled with travel sizes of their favorite toiletries? This bag from LL Bean is nice. They have 4 different sizes and they can be personalized. http://www.llbean.com/llb/shop/51638?feat=2936-GN2
  7. This Belkin Mini Surge Protector Dual USB Charger My husband and Dad have this and they both love it. They both like that they can plug in everything they need all in one area. Computer, iPhone, etc... My Dad has left items in his room before. Thankfully he has gotten them back, but with this he can keep everything in one place instead of having everything plugged in, in different outlets all over his room. $9.99 and free standard shipping. http://www.amazon.com/Belkin-Mini-Surge-Protector-Charger/dp/B0015DYMVO/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1292624243&sr=8-1 http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41Z2FvkKl%2BL._SX300_SY390_CR,0,0,300,390_.jpg
  8. Do you have a favorite perfume or make up that you would like, but don't want to spend the money on it?
  9. Great deal at Gymboree.com! 50% off All Regular priced merchandise, Extra 20% off select sale items AND 3 Day Rush Shipping for only $5!!! Until 12/20! 10. DH suggested biscuits and sausage gravy, but I don't want to spend all morning or what seems like all morning, making it.
  11. Your breakfast sound like fun and its cool that you all can get together.
  12. One day left to ship for Christmas with Super Saver Shipping! http://g-ecx.images-amazon.com/images/G/01/img10/x-site/xmas/shipping-lite/sl_calendar_non-prime_1217cutoff_main_rev2._V175299654_.png
  13. Great idea! This should help keep them all in one area. Those Legos hurt when you step on them!
  14. Um...wow! If they canceled it then why didn't they... a, email you b,tell you when you first called and c, refund your money right away. Customer no-service like this really frustrates me! Their website took your codes. They charged you and took it from your account the least they could do is send you your merchandise. You should consider writing to their parent company and filing a complaint with your BBB or even your states Attorney General. They should not have canceled and then kept your money and not informed you.
  15. Favorite candy, new key chain, socks, undies, pajama pants, books, some of those stretchy gloves to keep in his coat or book bag, pens and pencils for school, mug, packets of flavored hot cocoa, extension cord, surge protector, pepperoni stick, hat and scarf.
  16. When I was little we would make donuts on Christmas Eve and if there were any left (hot donuts are so good!) then we would have them for breakfast with orange juice and coffee for my parents and grandparents. We would eat these while we opened our gifts and then we played with our toys and snacked the rest of the day until our Christmas dinner. Now DH and I may get bagels from a local bagel shop or I may make french toast, but this year I am thinking about bringing back our donut tradition. What do you do for Christmas morning breakfast?
  17. I know many, many people that would LOVE the gift of chocolate. Every year DH gets a gift basket from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory from one of the vendors he buys from and he enjoys it so much. He is a football/tech guy and has tons of toys and he LOVES chocolate! (and coffee)
  18. Sent mine to a fellow GD'r on Monday. Hope they get them soon. Merry Christmas!
  19. I LOVE the idea of a stocking just for him! Great idea! DH's family stopped doing stockings when they hit their early teens. My family still does them and my Mom makes all of our stockings. Our first Christmas together my Mom made DH a stocking. She personalized it with his name, footballs, a football player, snowflakes and a string of Christmas lights. He had no clue about the stocking and it was so hard keeping it a secret from him.:) Christmas morning we woke up and he saw his stocking hanging, filled with presents and he was so surprised and so happy. He had the biggest smile on his face and he was and still is so proud of his stocking!
  20. I feel like this is what family gift exchanges are turning in to also. We get the exact same $25 gift card from DH's brother and SIL (5 years) and its more a gift card for DH then it is for the both of us. I like to spend time getting a great gift for them and DH has said if I want to give them a gift card too then we should, but I don't like the idea of trading gift cards. Ugh!
  21. That sounds like a great idea. I've thought about getting DH one, but he drinks black coffee 95% of the time. So its less expensive to just brew it in the coffee maker he already has. (Kitchenaid $100, got it for $8 online return @ Target!) Now if people in his office decided to chip in on one for their department then I would be all for it. Just so he could have a vanilla latte when he wants one. You should try again next year and mention how nice it would be to have a vanilla latte with out having to waste time on lunch breaks driving to a coffee shop and they would save some money too.
  22. Thank you! I was looking for a free shipping code earlier today.
  23. I think it is good information to have on the first post.
