Talked to my neice's boyfriend this evening...he's a manager at Best Buy. He said the price on the JVC Hard Drive camcorder will be 379.00 after the instant savings. Also told me that there will be more black friday doorbusters than what "that ad that you got" shows. He said "It's not the final ad". He wouldn't say anymore than that. Told him he couldn't marry my neice if he didn't spill it but he didn't bite...LOL!!! Oh well, this is the camcorder hubby wants for our scuba diving trips so looks like I'll be headed to Best Buy for it. Oh, this item says that it will be available for the Friday AND Saturday sale. Is there any reason I need to be in the crazy line for this? Can I just go later in the day on Friday? Michelle

A couple of years ago I used to get coupons in the mail but they must have stopped doing that. I used to subscribe to Abercrombie's quarterly magazine and every once in awhile there would be a coupon in the mag for % off. Wonder why they don't do that anymore. I would love codes/coupons too if anyone has them! Michelle

Hi All, I just got home from Best Buy. I bought a router for my new laptop. When I got home I saw that the ad for BF was posted and of course, the router I just bought is in the ad! I was so excited to get that Rival Ice Cream Maker.... Well, we tried making the ice cream from the recipe in the little book that comes with it... If you are expecting to get ice cream like they show on the box don't bother buying this. I followed the instructions exactly as printed and what we ended up with was something that resembled slushy milk. I went to Amazon and read the reviews there...I should have done that before buying it. Seems that almost everyone is disappointed with this ice cream maker. I decided to put our slushy mixture into the freezer to harden it....now I have a huge brick of ice cream that is unscoopable! For us, this machine is just not worth the time/money. Will target accept a return on an item that has been used? I want to take it back and get a refund but not sure how they are about items that have been used.... Any info on that type of return is appreciated! Thanks! Michelle

I finally scored at Target!!! I've been going for a few weeks now...after reading about all the great deals....and everytime I go I don't find anything. Just got back from our Target and they had the Rival Ice Cream Maker for 12.48 (marked down from 49.99). Also got 2 ice cream mixes for .48 each (marked down from 1.99). Had a coupon for 10 free digital pictures so I picked those up, too. Oh, I almost forgot...got 2 bags of Senseo Coffee Pods. 18 pods in each package. I had purchased some coupons from ebay (20 coupons for 1.00 off...paid 1.00 for the coupons) and I used two of the coupons. They were 3.84 and with the coupons got them for 2.84 each. I was so excited about the Ice Cream Maker....I went in twice last week and they were still ringing at 34.xx and I figured by the time they brought the price down they would be gone. Just got home from a trip to Target. Seems that the Target here just doesn't have the deals that so many talk about. I found the Rival Ice Cream Maker but it was still scanning at 34.xx....was hoping to find it for the 12.xx. Also found the smoothie maker but it wasn't ringing at the 6.xx either. Oh well....maybe next time! I'll be in there again in a few days...maybe they will bring down the price on the ice cream maker...would love to get that for the 12.xx. Michelle

Received my pans last week! They are great! Decided to save them for a Christmas present for a friend. I sent in the rebate form and I just checked the status on the website listed on the rebate form and they have already received my submission....should have the check in the next month. Can't beat this deal for 4.99 after the rebate! Too bad that it's a limit of one rebate per household. I'm going to place another order under my dad's name... Just check on Amazon and the deal is still good. Michelle

Yep, I have to agree...I love this thing! Maybe the one that person who didn't like it had something wrong with it. I've never had a problem with mine and we've made darn near everything in the recipe book! One piece of advice....read the instruction book. If you read it and follow their guidelines then you will have a great experience. There are different guidelines to follow for the different blades and the different types of food/drinks that you make. I love making the fruit sorbet and the coffee style shakes and the chicken salad! Michelle

Oh, they are selling them here...they are just twice the price! Not that it's not still a good deal....I was just hoping to find them for a buck. I'll keep checking other McDonald's...it may be just that one. Michelle

You can sometimes get them for under 50.00 at Kohl's when they have them on sale and then use your Kohl's credit card to get 10, 20, or 30 percent off. They have this type of deal several times a year. I ended up paying around 40.00 for mine. I love that thing! Use it quite often. Great chicken salad and great frozen drinks! Michelle

My do over would be from 2 years ago. That was the first year of the Portable DVD Players. I went to Kohl's for them. They had an awesome deal on one that came with all the bells and whistles (carrying case, battery, 2 sets of headphones, etc etc). I bought 3 of them. One for us, one for a friend that asked me to pick one up for her, and one for my nephew for a graduation present. I'm an ebay seller and I had no clue that this was going to be a hot item for Christmas! I usually check all the BF specials out on ebay to see what these items are going for but I didn't that year. I could have made a killing on those Portable DVD players! I was second in line at Kohls and could have had 10 of them! Oh well, lesson learned! I haven't and won't make that mistake again! Michelle
