Hi All, Shop4Tech has a bunch of stuff that ends up free if you use Google Checkout (new users). I got the Optical Mouse and the 4x6 Photo Paper and the 5x7 Photo Paper (you need a different email address for each order). Here's the steps to take: 1. Go to http://www.shop4tech.com/z/Promotion/20 2. Right above the first products it says SORT BY. Change the SORT BY to PRICE LOWEST. 3. Pick something that costs 11.11 4. Checkout using GOOGLE CHECKOUT 5. It will ask you to enter your Credit Card Info...don't worry....when all is said and done there won't be a charge. 6. On the next page, your total should read 1.11 (one dollar and 11 cents). If it doesn't have this total, then you aren't a new user to google checkout and you need a different email address. 7. On this page that says 1.11 it has a place to put in a promo code. Use code GCO10 (that's the letter O after the C and the number 0 after the 1). 8. When you apply the code it should take off the 1.11 making your purchase FREE!!! I got my packages today. I would have posted this sooner but I wanted to make sure that I got the stuff before posting. The site I go to get the top secret recipes for restaurants is www.topsecretrecipes.com The guy has a couple of books out (don't buy them from the site...you can get them cheaper at Sam's Club or Amazon). I have all his books and we use them all the time. The recipes are great. I think if there is only a recipe or two that you want you can buy the single recipe on his site for under a buck. Not positive on that one. And every week he has a free recipe on his site. You can sign up to be emailed each week and you just go to the site and see what the recipe of the week is. Hope this helps! Hi All, I, too, wanted to say thanks for having this forum! I got my first real deal today with the target coupons. My hubby is a mechanic and works midnights. Every evening before work he has 2 pop tarts before he leaves (his breakfast). We go through lots of pop tarts here (and we have no kids!). So, I get excited when the 8 count boxes go on sale for 1.00 a box...that's about as good of a sale as I can ever find.....UNTIL NOW!!! 8 Count Box at my Target is 1.52. I had 10 Manufacturers Coupons for .40 off a box making them 1.12 a box. Then I printed off 5 Target Coupons for 1.00 off 2 boxes....came out to a total of .90 off each box.... Final Price Per Box: .62 Best price I've ever gotten for them!!! Then I had 2 of the printed coupons for the Archer Farms Chips....bought the snack size bags priced at .98 and the cashier took off the 1.00 coupon on each one making them free (technically they paid me .02 on each one!). Hi All, Wooo hoooo! I finally received my Kingston rebate for the Flash Drive I bought in December!!! Ended being free after the rebate (30.00 rebate and 20.00 google checkout if I remember correctly). It was my very first purchase with Buy dot com and I was a little nervous about actually getting the rebate but they finally came through...just took awhile. Just thought I'd update for those of you still waiting on yours. Michelle

Hi, Anyone know if the rebate will stil be good if we use google checkout? That would be another 10.00 off with a new account!!! Oh, FYI...the rebate is in the form of a Visa Debit Card...still a great deal. I like the fact that the rebate is coming from Symantec. I'm still waiting on a rebate from Buy.com from December 21st. I finally got a notice from BUY.COM on the Kingston 1gb Flash Drive. I sent in the Rebate on December 21st. The form said to allow 4 to 6 weeks. On January 26th I got the email saying they received my submission. The email says to allow 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. Does that mean another 4 to 6 weeks??? I have such a love/hate relationship with rebates!!! I love all the money that comes back and I've never had one that didn't show up (knock on wood) but I hate the waiting game and the sometimes having to call to "check" on it so that they'll get it sent out. Hi All, I live in Indiana...very Northwest Tip of the state. Anyone know if the Meijer's around here double coupons? Would it be advertised somewhere in the store or the ad? I've been shopping there for years but it's not my main store because there is another store that doubles coupons. I'd definitely start shopping there as my main store if they double! I think the two towns around here with Meijer's are Highland, Indiana and Merrillville, Indiana. Anyone been able to double at either of these? Thanks! Michelle

Oh, I wish I had known to avoid netmagazines! I ordered a magazine from them on June 25, 2006 and I still haven't received it. I've sent numerous emails and received responses up until the last one I sent. It's always "don't worry, it's coming". They have stopped responding. I finally called the company of the magazine and they do have my subscription...problem is that netmagazines didn't tell them about it until the Monday after THANKSGIVING! I can't believe they waited 5 months to even enter the subscription. Anyways, hope this will keep someone else from going to netmagazines.com . Hi All, Question! If I drop my land line won't I also lose my DSL? I have SBC/Att phone service. I also have SBC/Att DSL. I've thought about dropping my land line and just using my cell phone for a phone...don't really need a land line. But the idea of the SunRocket or Vonage is nice if I can do it without losing my SBC/Att DSL once I drop the land line. Thanks! Michelle

Hi All, I'm a little confused and thought maybe someone could help! On the front page of my CVS Ad it says twelve pack Pepsi products are on sale 4 for 12.00 and you get 5.00 back in Extra Bucks. Then under it, it says See Page 5 for details in very very very tiny print! So, I go to page 5 and it says: Earn 5.00 Extra Bucks when you buy 4 Pepsi 12 pks and 4 frito-Lay XXL Bags. Then off to the right a little bit it has them separated again! Frito Lay 4 for 8.00 with Card. Then more to the right it says Pepsi 4 for 12.00 *CRV WITH CARD. Wha does *CRV WITH CARD mean???? Do I hav to buy the Frito Lay to get the 5.00 Extra Care Bucks? They have made this deal very confusing. It feels like they are trying to say you have to get the Frito Lay when you don't really have to. I'd love to get the Pepsi deal but don't want to have to buy the Frito Lay stuff. I've used the Bill Me Later service on many purchases. I love it! You don't have to enter your cc info and they just send you a bill once a month. Make sure to get it paid off before they start charging you interest. If I remember correctly, they have a high interest rate. Michelle

Hi All, I am looking to buy a ceramic or stoneware coffee canister with one of those rubber gaskets on the lid and preferrable one of those latches that you lock down. My hubby was going to buy one from Gevalia but I told him I would kill him if he paid 29.99 for one of them. I know they have good coffee but I think everything (including the coffee) is way over priced at that place. Anyways, if anyone has any suggestions I'd be grateful! Michelle

I tried and tried but I just could not get the laptop to sit stable on it. Every time I would try to type anything it would wobble. I think it's the rubber feet that are on the bottom of my laptop that are causing the problem. No biggie, I'll just take it back. Maybe I can find a different brand and/or size that will work better for my laptop. Michelle

Hi All, I placed my order throuh staples and it arrived yesterday (the 9th). I was very disappointed. It's too small. I bought the 398.00 laptop from walmart a couple of weeks before black friday. It's a 15.4". It never dawned on me that this wouldn't fit. Great price but check the size before ordering. I'll be returning mine to a staples store (so I won't have to pay to ship it back). Hi Spectraflamed, I apologize if I sounded like I was jumping on you...it wasn't meant that way (that's the one thing I hate about the internet..you can't hear tone of voice when you read what someone has typed). Please don't be offended. I totally agree with you on giving a check, too instead of a gift card and I often do that. I have a nephew that is very special to me and he had moved to Arizona for schooling (I live in Indiana). He's coming home for Christmas and I wanted to get him a nice present but he will have very limited space to carry things when he returns to Arizona. He's not much of a shopper and the gas card I wanted to get him doesn't work where he lives (he doesn't have the same gas stations that we do)....so as you suggested, he's getting a check! Once again, I apolgize if I sounded like I was jumping on you. Also, I should have stated in my original reply: Thanks for the warning about people stealing the numbers! I have to agree...I don't think gift cards are impersonal. I love receiving gift cards! Heck, I'd often rather receive a gift card than anything else. My hubby and I got to go out to dinner many times this year because of gift cards. We would not have otherwise been able to afford those dinners. I'd much rather get to spend a romantic evening going out to dinner with him than to receive a candle or a shirt that I don't care for and I end up returning. However, that being said...there is one thing I don't like about giving gift cards...I don't like the recipient knowing how much I spent! Michelle

Hi All, Just wanted to update those of you who got an order placed on Sunday through Amazon. I'm totally impressed with Amazon! I ordered on Sunday morning at 10:09am. I have the free trial of the amazon prime so I was offered either free 2 day shipping or 3.99 for overnight. I chose the 3.99 for overnight shipping. They said they would ship on Monday at would be here today (Tuesday). I figured it really wouldn't make it until tomorrow but.....it arrived at 1:07pm Central Time today! Wooo hooo!!! No standing in line...no freezing my butt off....no leaving the house. Michelle

So far mine says it's processing and will ship on November 20th and arrive on November 21st. I'll believe it when I get the tracking number! Michelle

OMG!!! I just got an order to go through on Amazon!!! I placed the order at 10:14am Central Time. I've been refreshing the site since 5:00am off and on...just every once in awhile. Don't get too excited about TRU having them. This is what it says on their site: "NOTE: Release dates, pricing, and bundle components are tentative and subject to change based on availability at launch. Product is not guaranteed on release date. Orders are shipped on a first-come, first served basis due to limited supplies and indeterminate launch quantities." Called customer service...they told me that they are sold out of inventory. They would not guarantee a ship date. Good luck to those of you who ordered. Michelle
