I don't think anyone knows what deals will be available for the Early purchase online. Nor do we have confirmation as to a time zone that Midnight applies to.

I believe it did last year when I got one. I think all the discounts apply.

The site is painfully slow and unreliable right now. It keeps logging me out and taking a while to load pages. My cart is built. Just waiting for my $280 cart to go down to $170. :-) Hoping not to have to add the items back to the cart after it goes live.

I know...I don't want to jinx it but standing in lines this year will be bearable but now all the non die hards will be out there too.

I do much of the same but keep the paper ad whole and use an ad scan to print out/cut out to put the picture on the paper. Then I still have full reference to the full ad.

Yes, I was so mad about 3 years ago when I was still a noob that I stood in line for some good deals on memory cards, blank DVDs, etc. And then went home and was surfing online and saw the same deals online for the same price, still in stock! I wanted in line for 30 mins to check out, hit a few more stores and it was all still available. Ugh. Now I have learned, and im sure many others have too so online shopping gets sold out quicker...especially with smart phones and buying from one store while waiting in line at another :-)

Yeah, Amazon has them now for $90 (same as BF price) and $108. I've been teetering back and forth on whether or not to get one and which one all day! I think if I can get the 590 @ $100 price, I might just get that. Otherwise, doesn't everyone else already have a Blu-Ray player? I can't imagine they will be the first item to go in all of the multiple stores that are selling them.

Since I've had good luck with Sony and they seem to be a good bet for players, I'm looking at the S390 & S590. The 590 seems to just additionally support 3D and costs $10 more on BF ($90 vs $100). I've seen slightly better reviews for the 590, but nothing major. If I'm not a huge fan of 3D movies, don't have and don't plan to have a 3D TV anytime soon, is there any major advantage to spending the extra $10 for the 590 just because I'm reading reviews are slightly better? Can anyone recommend by what they have and what would you do?
