And had to get shipped to relatives so saved me the $10 to ship it to them after I had it anyway. And the Wisconsin winters are better served online shopping than in line for hours before stores open. Haha

Agree. You get all the same benefits online that you would in store, except having the item for that week ;-)
-
Brad, we're not expecting you to break the rules and post the ad, but if you could just list every item, SKU, regular price, and sale price, we would accept that. :-) You know, with all that free time you have on your hands over there. However if it delays the shipping of the winners' shirts on Monday, we can wait a few more days for Home Depot. Isn't always the same ad each year; plus or minus a few items? ;-)
-
Oh and I remember having $10 off $25 and I think free shipping at $25 ish. Oh, I got quite the deal. Over $150 of stuff shipped for less than $35

I shopped JCP's BF stuff online on thanksgiving day last year. They had quite a bit of stuff online, if not almost all. I can't imagine to expect any less, especially with clothes and small appliances.
-
I believe it started midnight Wednesday (start of Thursday morning). The ad says "WEDNESDAY-FRIDAY 3PM CST" which sounds up for interpretation ;-)
-
I'm also wondering the same thing for a twin mattress/boxspring for DS.
-
I did last year at either Office Max, Staples, or Office Depot. I cen't remember which, but it was online. They shipped a day or two later (maybe as late as Monday) and I think it arrived by the next weekend.

I'm thinking with all these new ads, the rest of the work day is now useless...

I think this will be interesting because it will be on a palette and at such a good price, this is going to look like the towels section. People in the front getting theirs and trying to get out while others trample their way in. I would like to think a few hours early would be enough but hard to tell.

Ditto here. And then I use the item number to look at them in Costco.com and only half of them actually exist. Sometimes not even the product. Was able to dig up a few though. Costco does that for their monthly deals in the coupon book. Even annoys me then, too. Even on items I have no interest in buying....I still like seeing the final price :-)

They put out press releases or mention it on their web site as we get closer. Give that another week.

Planning on Nabi2 for DD3. Agree 12 is probably bit old.

What city will you be shopping in this year on Black Friday?

The one and only Madison, WI. -
I have been spending more time out because you start earlier and still have some 5am openings so I still stay out til 7 or 8. Used to leave the house at 2 am through 8am. Now 8pm through 8am....may've with a nap somewhere in there...

Its like a debit/credit card with a balance of $50. Use it anywhere VISA is accepted. Now sure what that means for international, but likely some foreign transaction fees when you use it since it's based in US.

I am very excited about Nabi2, too.
-
Yup, it was Best Buy @ $169. I know BB is matching something through the season, but I doubt on BF.
-
I saw the Nabi 2 somewhere else in one of the BF ads (can't remember where at this moment), but it sure wasn't as low as $129....I am thinking it was $169. I doubt anywhere will PM on BF ads, but I'm sure that will be a giant upcoming topic of discussion.
-
Yay Menards....the ad that makes me realize items I never knew I needed. Impossible to go BF without hopping in there.
-
Super! Some of those ads get pretty big in file size, so be mindful. My phone takes a performance hit around this time of year ;-)
-
I just go to the forum with the ads, then the thread for the store. First post contains the PDF. Save that fella. I use the Android App; can't imagine it differs that much...

Last year, they had a friends and family sale the week after BF. 30% off everything. I couldn't find any info on an actual BF sale, but not to say there wasn't or couldn't be this year. http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?241392-Yankee-candle-friends-and-family-sale

Thanks!!! So excited. Congrats to my fellow winners.

My goal is always 60% off retail. Last 2 years averaged about 63% off. So depending on how much stuff I buy will affect how much I save ;-) Edit: Oops. Misread that. I don't set an amount. Pretty much if it's a good deal and can go somewhere of good use, I get it!
