There's a couple things I'm looking to be on sale at Macy's; doubt I'll find anything not on my list, but Kohl's BF starts in less than 7 days... the stragglers need to get going.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't... But maybe it was just the particular fabrics I was looking at last year.

It's usually much of the same stuff, but always fun to look and still get some of the usual stuff. Just can't help but to go to Menards! Very ready for it.

Yup, I usually scroll through the upcoming deals for the next hour or two and mark the deals to watch. Then refresh in a few hours, check again for the next 1-2 hours of upcoming deals. Filtering can be your friend, as bluebear mentioned. It brings the 140 pages down to 80 for me. lol. I've frequently also had things in my Wish List and get an email in the morning saying that such and such item will be on a lightning deal at so and so time. I love when that happens!!

I'm guessing that's just an already started bolt and could range from 2 yards - 15 yards and it's priced for you to buy the whole bolt.

A few things missing that I remember them usually having, but still probably gets me in there Friday and/or Saturday morning.

I am very surprised the 3 event times are gone.

Regardless of what the price is, it's still worth checking out when the deal happens if the item is something you're interested in.

I know I've done a rebate from an online purchase from them in the past. I honestly couldn't tell you if it said "in store rebate" when I bought it.

It's the same every year. Lol. There's always a few random new things, but same story different year. Once you've bought their ad for 4 or 5 years...you have everything you need form them.

It's entirely hit or miss. There's random things out there for sale on lightning deals, but often they aren't that great of a deal or it's entirely something that noone ever needs....or wants. It's difficult to stumble upon an item you want at a good price, but you feel good when it does.

Yep, that's what I've experienced. I'll definitely be by myself, so it's not as easy to scope the aisles for the bolts AND watch the counter. I just don't want all the good ones to be gone before I get to choose if I go later in the day.

Absolutely NOT. There is no way they could get enough of these to guarantee everyone that wants one could get one by Christmas. Won't happen.

True. Makes sense. I never have time to watch movies anymore; though for $5 or less.... can't go wrong.

Most camcoders these days will suffice for your needs. I don't feel that anything 4K is necessary, but you'll want full 1080p HD; look for good battery life, maximum memory card size and/or maximum single video length. Look for something with a screen for viewing rather than looking through the viewfinder. The thing you'll want to invest in is an easy tripod!!! You want something portable, light, but very stable. You can't rely on your arm to hold it for an extended period of time. The one in the BestBuy ad may be suitable.
