I was at Target when they opened yesterday morning. The markdown team had been at work since 6 and was no wheres near putting a dent in the markdowns. Wound up with 3 carts full in 3 seperate trips between doctor appointment and picking up kids from school and spent a total of 134.78 for 3 carts full of stuff. Poor kids had to sit on cases of spiral notebooks on the way home since my jeep was packed to the hilt. Third time I went in after picking kids up from school the employees gave me a round of applause, LOL I think they are way too used to me at this Target. LOL, the kids got a big laugh out of it though. About a third of the school supplies I bought were donated to my kids' classrooms today so it was all worth it.

I noticed this morning that the Transformers Spiral notebooks and folders were already 75% off but they clearanced those out earlier than the other school supplies.

Scored 3 MM's today! Completely made my day! LOL School supplies only at 30% off here right now.

My store was a madhouse. I did manage to get 3 pairs for me, but toddler jeans were none to be had.

Yeah here too. Around the week of Aug 22nd last year backpacks and lunchboxes went to 30% off. School Supplies went to 30% off around the week of September 2nd but didnt hit 75% off here till the 3rd week of September.

went back again today and there was nothing left hardly. Glad I was there when I was yesterday

Ok I spent 2 hous in the toy department. Wound up with 500 dollars worth of toys for 125. ( Had 2 shopping carts full ) All while I had my 5 year old with me and he didnt notice a thing! I got him to pick out one thing he wanted and had him sit in the seat and I filled the cart and another one while keeping clothes covering them while he looked at the new toy box he picked out, it was great!

Gonna head out and check on toys - they really havent had anything clearanced I wanted lately but maybe I will get lucky and they pulled some out of the back or something. People around here like to snatch things up at 30 and 50% off but I always wait till 75%. Since everything I buy this early is just fillers I dont stress too much, but I love it when I get lucky.

You should be able to get it all back unless they charge a $50 fee. My bank put all the money back in my account after someone went on a spending spree with my stollen card, but it did take 3 pr 4 weeks, everything had to clear first and then I had to sign an afidavid (sp?) that it wasnt me. Sorry you are going through this and your mortgage company couldnt give you a little slack. Hope it all works out. Best Wishes!

I spent 40 dollars today on the 75% off cynthia rowe summer clearance. Got tablecloths - picnic sets - ice tea dispensers with the freeze core and sngle ones as well. Also got the last 2 folding chairs they had ( I have been watching and waiting for those to use at the beach) some summer toy stuff for the kids etc. My hubby was speachless cause today I bought 160 dollars worth of stuff for the same 40 he wanted me to spend on just those 2 chairs 2 weeks ago. Gotta love it when they realize what all of us on here already know about patiently waiting. LOL

I would have just bought one at sale price and then returned it with the full price reciept later that day.

Ok stocked up on the 7 packs of boys Haynes underwear today. 1.74 per 7 pack and had 50 cent coupon peelies on them so I got 7 pairs for 1.24, I bought 5 packs - LOL 35 pairs of underwear for my 5 year old for $6.20

Hit up the 75% off dollar spot and got 4 foot scrubs, 4 body wash, 4 hand lotion, 4 buble bath, 4 foot cream, 4 body butter, 4 bath gells. Going to do one of each item in a gift basket for end of year teacher gifts along with some other goodies I have found along the way. 7.00 for 7 items per giftbaskets (4 total baskets ) was a steal.

Finally!!! The only other time I ever found the MM's were when I was on vacation in South Carolina, but this morning I found 1 Fruit punch and 1 grape with the Chuck E cheese coupon on it! Doing the happy dance! Never thought I would ever find any at my local store. Also got 10 different colors of my ABOSLUTE favorite tshirts - the Mossimo Fitted t's 75% off so they were 2.24 each. Completely made my day. Although the one time I stash something it didnt get marked down cause apparently they sold out at 50% off so I put the camcorder back where it belongs so maybe someone else with get lucky and they will mark it down. I didnt really need it anyways, but at least now I have found a nice stash holding area, LOL I dont think I would ever have the nerve to try it again though. I always feel like the overhead cameras are following me! LOL

Why do some cashiers act like the money is coming out of their paycheck??? The manager did the right thing and I hope she was severely reprimanded for saying that in front of a customer - there is no excuse for that. Sorry meant to edit the first post I made not reply to it
