Agree. Another reason not to shop Walmart on Black Friday this year. Looks like I am hitting Staples, Target and Lowes.

With me it always depends on the teachers. Two years ago I monogramed a set of towels for my DD's teacher, (she was by far our favorite teacher ever) Last year I just did gift bags with a throw, bath and body gift set( small size from Walmart bought on clearance after Christmas the year before), and a card. One year I embroidered a sampler for all the teachers including speach, pe, music, art, librarian, nurse, etc and put them in cheap frames from walmart. ( I have an embroidery machine so it does all the work except changing thread and trimming) It al depends on the year, how much time I have and how much we really like the teachers. This year I may do a small gift card and bathset since I am limited in time.

Very very hard to find in most locations. They are packaged together in plastic and not supposed to be sold off the shelf, but individually in the cafe part. They dont have the reg outter packageing so when they scan it hits on one of the individual boxes upcs and charges you the price of a single serving box out of the cafe. We really need a sticky explaining this to all the newbies, since this question is asked so much Good luck everyone out there searching for the MM's

I am thinking a lot of the stores are saving the big doorbuster items to be added as overwraps to their ads at the last minute. Or advertised on tv or online a day or two before. You never know. Either way this is the first year I will not be going out on BF since my hubby is deployed and I have no one to watch the kids. Oh well hopefully I can catch some good online specials.

Ok I do use the self check outs and they save me time, some times. I will say that I have witnessed bold theft at this too. Once last year during the holiday season, all lines were 20 people deep so i went to self check out. The people in front of me had two carts full of stuff. they kept ringing up items and added the bags to a cart with stuff still in it not scanned then digging around in the carts for more stuff to scan, in the process adding stuff to bags that had not been scanned. I noticed security type personell follow them out cause I hope they were caught since that just drives the prices up. I always make a point in self check out of bagging my items and putting the bags on the floor after taking off scale until my cart is completely empty . It might take an xtra min but I dont have to worry about them thinking I am stealing something that I might forget in my cart. and that way I am sure I dont overlook anything.

one find today - all halloween was salvaged - but did find Classico four cheese alfredo sauce clearanced out to 1.38 Oh and someone else on here must be shopping my Yulee Target cause the Minute maid juice section loked like a tornado went through it, LOL

got the spiderman playset thing for $12.** this morning. Another my little pony for $2.48, found the lightsabers that light up on the costume aisle but didnt buy them since my kids would only wind up getting in trouble with those. Found a really nice set of full size sheet sets for 10.48, no halloween littlest pet shops though, Oh well. Also found Maybelline mascara bonus package with the eyeliner included for $2.48 ans 2 pack Suave lotions with bonus purse size tube for $3.48

managed to get to target after kids got out of school today, actually found some things spread out over store like people had changed their minds or where hiding them unsuccessfully. 2 boxes of hefty onezip bags, 1 box Halloween press and seal, 4 packs halloween glad bigbowls, also picked up a couple of those lighted jackolanterns and found one of the trick or treat 24 pack mini playdoughs on the regular candy aisle. Wish I had found the Littlest pet shop halloween animals but didnt see them and my kids didnt want the mr potato head. Daughter did get 2 halloween my little ponies though.
