They have a Crowd Saver deal on their Facebook. Acer ONE for $179, same as Radio Shack on BF, if they get 5000 "Likes". I think I will get that one instead of trying for the BB one online for BF.

I had a TomTom, hated it. Always searching for satellites and by the time it found one I had missed my turn. I had other issues too. I got a Garmin last BF at Radio Shack and I LOVE it! :)

Is that the one I saw in a commercial that lets more light in for better non-flash pictures and you can change the lens? Does anyone have that for BF? Just Googled it. I don't think that's the one. The one I saw has a big lens, a body of a point and shoot and a pop-up flash. Guess I will have to watch more TV.

Ok, so are the only netbooks the $149 one at Best Buy and the $179 at Radio Shack? I was hoping that because of tablets being so popular there would be more netbooks not less!

No. They both have browsers but tablets are more of a computer not an MP3 player. Tablets, except an iPad run Android not iOS. They have a min of a 7" screen. Think of a Touch as a glorified MP3 player and a tablet as a more portable laptop.

If a store has any older version left they will be regular price, which may actually be more than the new gens. They will never get clearanced, Apple does not allow this. Your best bet is to get a previous gen in the Apple referb store. That's the only place you will find a deal on them. Thanks but all the ones I saw exclude all computers or you need a Staple credit card.

Some people get scared away from refubs but I think they are great! You can get somehting that you otherwise might have not been able to get at a great price and Apple stands behind their products. I might be getting DS the 8g refurb too. Just need to wait for the rest of the ads first.

This year is a new generation though. I'm sure the best you will find is around $225 for the 8g with a free gift card.

Lowe's Facebook had a contest last weekend for a 90% off coupon. I didn't win.

I only took a quick look but the $149 netbook, the $99 15" TV and the $49 Harmony remote jumped out at me. I think I'm less impressed this year because I don't need a giant TV, a GPS, a laptop or desktop, a camcorder, a tablet or an ereader. I'm keeping Xmas a little low key this year. :)
