I'm on my HP I got last year at Best Buy about 2 weeks before BF for $429 and it's still running awesome. I thought my desktop was fast before I got this! This year I might have to shop for a new desktop!

YES you defiantly need some kind of cover. Why would anyone want it unprotected? If you got it cheap just keep it and don't let the cover rule what e-reader to get.

Our Walmart last year opened the doors at midnight and you we free to put things in your cart except for the big items you needed to get in line for (TVs, laptops, Blu-Ray, etc) but we had to wait until 5am to check out. I liked it better than the year before when we stood in line for 9 hours out in the freezing cold then have a mad rush in the door at 5am.

I have a Nook and I love it! I never even considered the Kindle. For one I hate the useless keyboard at the bottom and love the Nooks touchscreen. :)

I am sooo not ready! DD has a list a mile long, almost nothing on DS's list and noo money. Urg!

Ok SC, what about all these Tablets that are out? There's the iPad, the Galaxy Tab, the Blackberry one just got revealed and there is supposed to be at least one more by BF. Do you think any of these will go on sale and if we should make a chart? I'll do it if you think it's needed. :) Oh and I can do the video games systems too because I might be getting a new system this year. :)

My worst was probably 2008 when I stood outside of Walmart for 8 hours with a drunk guy just to almost get trampled on the way in because I was near the front. My last 2 years I've been going to TRU were great! 2008 I went after Walmart so I wasn't there till at least 6, opened at 5am that year. Had to maneuver around a million people in there but got what I wanted and got to the end of the line which wove in and out of isles all the way to the back. I know doesn't sound good yet, anyway, they line moved very fast and I only spent about 30-45 minutes in there total. Last year was awesome! I was around the first 12 in line. At midnight they opened the doors and let in like the first 25 people. I got all my stuff and checked out within 15 minutes! When I left I had to cut through the line that was still wrapped around the building with my car.

Oh I got the little one, that thing was junk! Also 2 years ago at Walmart I got the DVD video camera and hated it. Luckily I returned it that day and they still had the hard drive video cameras so I got that one and still love it!

Haha! I was just gonna ask what about Android!!! lol I just have the forum bookmarked, works fine for me (until there is an Android app!)

Thanks for having the old charts on there too. I looked back and realized I bought my desktop in '05! Yikes! I didn't think it was THAT long ago! LOL Guess I'm doing something right cuz it's still going strong! I've added RAM, replaced a CP fan, do maintenance and have good security. HP rocks!

FYI about those fake Pillow Pets ( Cuddlie Pets or whatever) from Amazon and eBay, they are like a 1/4 of the size of Pillow Pets. Cute but not worth it.

My DD is 5 and she loves both the Lalaloopsy (just told me) and Monster High dolls. But then again one of her favorite movies is Corpse Bride...I think this may not be normal though.
