I was not impressed til I saw the Best Buy ad. There are many things I'd get in there but there is NOOO way I am attempting BB. I really don't want to miss Thanksgiving to be in line! Now, to wait and see what Walmart has...

If you want a netbook that will work for games and sites with Adobe Flash (many sites use this for games) they I would get the $149 one from Best Buy or the $179 one from Radio Shack. The $80-100 ones from Toys R Us and CVS are pretty much useless for that. They only have Windows CE (meant for phones) and might not have Flash capabilities.

I do like a few things in the Best Buy ad but I wouldn't go there anyway. Waaay too crazy! Hopefully they will have the things I want online....

I hate that TRU does this. FYI, I was at TRU at 9pm last year when they opened at midnight and was still about 12th in line. If I went this year I would have to be in line around 6-7. Not worth it to me. I'm not sure if that will be a big seller or not but you can try to go back at 5am. Just remember it will be absolutely CRAZY in there at that time!

Well I'm going to have to wait for the rest of the ads and the weather report to know if I'm going out or not. I can see rushing around online to be almost as thrilling but you get to stay warm and dry!

You know what I think your right. I'm 95% done with DD5 and got everything on sale. Between TRU, Target, Walmart and Kmart toy sales I'm almost done! I do want to get DS10 a netbook and haven't seen any good deals on those. Hopefully I can grab one online! :)

I'm a little disappointed with the ads this year. Maybe it's because they don't have what I'm looking for or I just don't think the prices are where they should be. I know there are still a few "big" ads to come out but so far it looks like me and my laptop curled up on the couch for BF this year.

I have only seen them in the double pack at Target. I've never seen the one DD wants or any single packs.

Well I scored the FinFin Friend and Lalaloopsy Doll that DD wanted last night (both on sale)! :) I think I'm about 90% done with her. Just need to find those darn Monster High Dolls. I've never been close to done this early but DH might not get BF off this year so I don't want to have to wait then not get anything. Plus I got a commission check so I might as well spend it while I got it!

Is it coming straight from Apple? If it is and you really HAVE to have Mac then I think it's a good deal. If it's not from Apple I don't know about buying a used computer for somewhere else. I probably wouldn't do it.

Good for you, I'm glad you got them! Hope they work out good for you! And hopefully my DS 10 will be happy with a $100 netbook if they have them for BF.

I got mine last year pre-BF at BB for $429. It's plenty powerful but I personally wouldn't spend that on a 14yo. I'm sure the one at Walmart would be fine. BTW, you said the more expensive one died so why wouldn't you go with the cheaper one again?
