I always buy about a MILLION things from there on black friday! Plus, those vip totes are the BEST!!! Cant wait to see the guide. Did you get it in the mail?

I usually buy my wrapping paper from Target and Walmart the day after Christmas. I usually have about 30 people to buy for so I stock up quite a bit. I usually have about 20 rolls on hand but each year varies how much I use because of the size of the gifts. I also use the different paper for each person ( for my kids I have 2-3 of the same roll each and then about 1 roll for dh, 1 roll for my mom ( she lives upstairs from us so we buy her alot) and then every1 else I just use the other paper I bought....HTH

I usually also do some snooping to find out what they like, I have the kids ask them. I also have a TON of teachers to buy for and coaches ( since all 3 of the kids are in sports). I just try to find things they will like that are in the budget I have. Usually I get the coaches beauty sets from bath and body works or vs ( since they are young female cheerleading and gymnastic coaches) I usually get the extra teachers ( choir , gym etc) a small gift set from bbw and a small bag of nice chocolate llke lindt. The main teachers it all depends on what they like..sometimes giftcards, or large giftbaskets full of things my kids told me they like. My childrens speech teacher is amazing so she will probably get the largest gift this year for my kids teachers, hoping to find a good deal on a coach wristlet or small purse this bf that she would like... As far as people looking for suggestions I would say just stay in your budget, dont stress out about it and just be creative. Your kids teahers put alot of effort into your childs education and are an important part of their life so the gift should just be a nice way of showing appreciation no matter what it is =)

I am back home this year ( thank goodness, last year BF and traveling was ROUGH) So I will be shopping in Ellenton Florida and Brandon Florida

If I remember correctly last year the sale started on halloween and was posted here on the 23rd but was delivered to someones house the (22nd), so I am pretty sure that next week the big book will be going out and someone should have it by 1 week from today! HURRAY!

As for adults I would put things like chocolate, small perfumes or lotions, scratch off lottery cards, maybe dvds or gift cards For teens I would put things they might need like shampoos, perfumes, toothbrishes, hairbrushes , hair clips, giftcards, etc preteens it depends on there age, if older preteen I would do similiar to teen gifts if younger preteens I would add a few smaller toys in there as well Each year I do 3 kid stocking, 3 adults stockings, and 3 pet stockings so I know it can get stressful. I go EVERY year and it has never once been 50% off everything. They have some items that are on sale or 50% off but not everything. It is usually an extra 20%. The only time I know they do 50% off is in December they always do a weekend of b1g1 free toy( making it 50% off) so it might just be certain stores that do 50% off on bf...

Half priced books 10/10

I have the same issue with dd9 so I REALLY try to keep it even but sometimes I will put more then one thing in a box to make it more even. PLus, our family sends them tons of gifts too so its hard to keep it exactly even that way. It was much easier before all my kids could count...lol

Yesterday in the mail I got a sale book with a coupon and it said valid from 10-7-10-29. So this makes me think that the big book this year will definatley be starting on October 30th!! Anyone else hearrd anything about the release? My guess is that it should be leaked in a bout 2 weeks if that is the release date

I go to the outlets each year. This is how we handle it ( keep in mind our outlets open at midnight but some stores will open a bit earlier) I live only about 30 minsd from the outlets but we leave at 9pm. I refuse to leave any earlier then that because I have to spend the day with my family. We got stuck in traffic about an exit before the outlets and by the time we actually move , get in and find a parking spot it is around 11ish. Depending on sales we decide which store to go to first but we always hit the LESS popular stores first since most outlet stores have the same deals n plenty of them until 6-10am. Its a mad house at stores like coach and childrens place until around 2-3am, by then it is a ghost town since every has left for big stores so thats when I hit the busier stores and always get everything I came for.

Anyone know the difference between the leapster 2 and leapster explorer? I want the newer system for my lil one because a few years back I bought the diji and then it was discontinued and a waste...Thanks =)

If you buy the dollhouse at toys r us, u can put it on layaway so this way you dont have to store it for too long...

Luckily my mom lives upstairs so I hide everything in her closet. I also wrap gifts and put them in my sons closet since he is only 3 and noone goes in there but me =)

You will probably find a bigger sale on the big book plus they almost always have a free toy with a barbie purchase of a certain amount or more...

The lady on the phone and my hubby said it was a dsi...not the xl but the regular dsi..but I can check for sure when he brings it home.

It really depends on their likes but some ideas are last year when my dd was 8 she wanted littlest pet shop, monster high, hello kitty things my dd 5 now wants dora, fancy nancy and minnie mouse things ( also a big justin bieber fan) your ddson might like disney cars, they have so many cute things for medium playsets or just cars. imaginext is also great for this age and toys r us is doing this week only if you buy 50 dollars in preschool toys you get a free kids tough camera which is great for a 5 year old boy or girl almost 1 year old..anything fischer price learning... hope that helps

I decided to have my dh pick up the dsi for my dd9 since Radioshack had it for 99.99 and I was seeing it for 149.00 all the other places that still had 1. To my surprise it rang up 69.99!! So excited when stuff like that happens.
