Whats the difference between a dsi and ds lite? I found the dsi for 99.99 is that a better system and worth it? Or still try to find the lite?

Ive called TONS of radio shacks with no luck on the ds lites =(

I also do alot of the above but will write my strategy. I write a list for each store I will be going to. I then write down each item I want and the bf price and total up how much it will be. ( This way I can make sure there is no mistake that day at the register) I dress in layers. I bring a smaller bag then I usually carry and only bring my id, casyh, and cards I will be using. ( debit, credit, n store cards I m going too). I also have an envelope with all my coupons. I pack snacks, water, and most importantly fill up TWO LARGE COFFEES! ( i usually make a starbuck run as well but thats later when the lines arent a mile long.

I found in the toy section a large lego set originally marked 59.99 and it has a 34.98 sticker on it so I scanned it and it came up 12.48! Pretty awesome score. Last year the original model of the kindle went on sale but nothing for the newer 3g kindle. I onlty remember cause I was looking for a deal too. I ended up getting one for mothers day, same price 189 but with a 25 dollar gc but with all the competition this year with tablets I think they might offer a good deal...

I would honestly wait on the ipod. Last year a ton of stores had giftcard with purchase. My best friend got one from Target in DEcember with a 40 or 50 dollar giftcard. As far as the 3ds, If you find a good deal I would buy now because they might be REALLY hard to find later. AS far as a ds or dsi, Im almst certain they will put that on sale in walmart ( they have the past 2 years or so). Laptops n netbooks I know nothing about except that I need a good one and dont know nearly wenough about specs..lol

You could ask for clothes that are a bigger size so you wont need to buy that once he gets bigger since they grow so fast. You could also ask for learning toys. Fischer price has some great ones ( the sit n learn piano, the my first kitchen, the leapfrog learning table)

Each year I TRY to be organized and make a spreadsheet with every person I need to buy for and the estimated amount I want to spend and then add what I buy as I go along. Each year I seem to spend more then I allotted ( mostly on my kids). I never know if they should be equal price wise or giftwise( number of presents)? As my dd9 is getting older her stuff costs way more then my two little ones but I dont want her feeling that she has way less... I mean I go way overboard on the gifts as it is but Im finding it more tricky to keep the 3 kids equal either way My question is how do you makeyour lists( spreadsheets) and how do you decide what to budget?

The tru sale used to always start on the last Sunday of October, but two years ago they did the first weekend of November and Last year it went back to the last weekend in October. So we are looking at either an October 30th start date ( which is the date I personally think it will start) or a November 6th start date but that seems late to me being thatThanksgiving is earlier this year on the 24th and that would only give it a 2 n a half week sale span. I think last year the book was mailed the week before and leaked on here October 23rdish?? I cant wait too, and I hope they actually mail me 1 this year because even though Im on the "list", I never get one

I am not cutting down but have been deal searching all year to get better deals on stuff the kids really want! I do have a good amount saved for bf, definately not as much as I usually do but I will probably still end up with the same amount of gifts for every1.

My daughter has already asked for Lalaloopsy dolls n light brites so I know those are toys I will need. Hoping they will go on sale at Target or toys r us when the toy books come out! Which I think should be coming out in about a month or so?

Dollar spot brown dot went 70% off today...it has always been 75% before so I wonder if that is changing ( boo)..picked up a few more cute little things. School supplies n bags finally went 75% off as well but was SLIM pickings. Managed to get my son the lightning Mcqueen lunch box hes been eyeing for 2.48. Also picked up a few folders for 25 cents and glee notebooks for 62 cents. There was one fun 3d dry erase peace sign board left for 2.48 so I grabbed that for my daughters room as well. Lots of clearance going on in mty store today..Also found big time rush and shake it up shirts on sale for 2.24 so grabbed those to. All in all a really good trip. ( did look at the missoni stuff, womens clothes were all gone but I did like the shoes but they were NOT comfy so I didnt buy them) The kids clothes were NOT my girls tastes or I would of grabbed some of it!

I have been listening to it a bit as well. I like aol radio pop Christmas and then the more traditional songs on Pandra. I TOTALLY agree, I cant wait for the holiday forums to open as well. It is my FAVE time of the year so I cant wait for the season to get started...and I also have been wrapping a few Christmas gifts that I have bought during the year and thats when I listen to the music.

I dont think they have an actual ad. I have gone there for the past 10 years or so on bf and they always do 20% off purchase before 10am and then they have a bunch of great deals on other stuff!
