  4. This is the best coupon I've been able to find on it. ($10 OFF) HERE
  5. Loved my deals at my Kohls!! got lots of 70-90% off (over $575 original retail price) for $63.37 :) ...including a $225 Haggar Sportcoat for $22.50 I used the same 15% Friends & Family Discount, 9% no tax, and an additional $10 off $20 coupon (found in the LA Times the Wednesday before) 5 men's dress shirts, 2 pairs of Men's Jeans, 1 Sportcoat, wife got 3 blouses, 4 skirts, 1 pair of dress pants and 2 pairs of toddler shoes. Best shopping trip for a man EVER! LOL!
  6. Last year was the first time I didn't go out overnight for BF but I got everything (including Electronics) that I wanted online for a better price than what was listed as Doorbusters. remember, newegg, amazon, walmart.com and other sites have deals WAY before the B&M stores even open!

  8. a nice Digital SLR for less than $350 ** I can hope **
  9. CircuitCity.com got bought out by Systemax. Systemax owns TigerDirect.com and they bought out CompUSA / compusa.com when they went out of business too. They shut down almost all the B&M CompUSA's and only kept a few to be their "TigerDirect stores with the CompUSA name" For the majority of the country, having both of these large stores shut down hurt the consumer
  10. around here, I prefer this! I've noticed that items stay on clearance longer if they're in the aisles where other Perimeter Perusers won't bother to look if they don't see a clearance endcap :) more chance for me to get something at 50-75% off instead of 30%!
  11. 32" for $480? Newegg has a 37" today for $399 I feel they are outdated in their sources. Deals will be more frequent than just BF deals. You just need to know where to look for them
  12. I wish we had a law like this in California http://www.michigan.gov/ag/0,1607,7-164--134114--,00.html If an item scans the wrong priced and is marked the correct price (on the item) then you get the difference (price adjustment) PLUS 10x the difference (min. $1, max $5) that's great!
  13. They should have a scavenger hunt! (i.e., if there's only 10 laptops, place them all around the store with clues) so the people in search of these "doorbusters" will be spread out on which items they're looking for and all the other early morning shoppers can have more space to get their low-priced non-doorbuster items. LOL.. doubt they would do something like that (even without the hunt ) Also, they should be unconventional.. like making several more locations of where their cheap filler items that attract enormous crowds(like dvds). All kidding aside, it greatly depends on the Walmart store itself. There are 2 nearby (8 mile radius) and they both don't do tickets except for the "big" stuff like LCD TVs and that's just so those people are guaranteed their item without having the item broken/scratched/etc. with 100's of people running into the boxes. You pay for it and they bring it out for you. Other than that, their method of crowd control is to let in groups of 25 into the store at 5 second intervals (5 sec. from when the last person of the last group fully enters) It's not perfect, but everyone knows they'll just slow everyone down by pushing and shoving. Walmart would've gotten fined $10k MAX! They did something better IMO, they accepted the $7k fine and "set up a $400,000 fund for victims, and give $1.5 million to county social services programs and nonprofit groups." All of which is separate from the legal battles going on by the families suing Walmart. It wasn't something to be forgotten, but people are quick to put the blame on someone they CAN blame (like Walmart) when those who should be blamed (people involved but not caught in the act) are out there walking around saying they were victims too! (I'm sure some of them were, but countless more probably contributed to the stampeding more than helping )
  14. I got those days off too (though the week in Dec. was taken as "mandatory vacation/office closure" so we got 6 days Vac. the rest of the year instead of 10 ) but we just got bought out by a bigger company and no longer get those days off unless we use Vac. time
  15. I haven't tried this brand, but their warranty is awesome if true! http://www.llbean.com/customerService/aboutLLBean/guarantee.html?nav=gn
  16. if your kids go through shoes like crazy..(like my eldest) before they grow out of them, then buy them at Sears. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/nb_10153_12608_NB_kid%20vantage?keywordRedirect=kidvantage
  17. gettin' close! http://news.cnet.com/8301-13845_3-10283838-58.html?tag=mncol;title this is for a limited few people who want something as specific as this (due to the mainstream limitations, such as Linux)
  18. unless you're paying in cash, having to go to guest services is gonna be a little bit of an extra hassle... (paying CC, getting price adjusted at GS, waiting for adjustment to reflect on CC) not much, but it's still an annoyance
  19. yep. Here's the details: (from http://pressroom.target.com/pr/news/value/our-low-price-promise-facts.aspx)
  20. I know there are those crazed "for the rush" fans out there, but considering last year's tragedy at Walmart and add to it that I haven't set foot in BB for well over a year, I think lots more shoppers will go online for the BF deals. Target actually posted on their site (when CC closed) that they shoppers could expect great deals from them in hopes of giving customers a new place to buy electronics (better deals than usual?) I think BB will keep on doin' what they're doin' and lure people with their $99 laptops (exagger.) and push their "but you really need this $2k laptop!"
  21. $25 @ Rite-Aid... Good through 06/30/09 http://www.riteaid.com/www.riteaid.com/w-content/images/pharmacy/TransferPrescriptionCpn0609.pdf
  22. My 10 year old had the original Leapster when it first came out and all the cartridges work with all Leapster products. I need a new one for my 3 year old (he's turning 4 in August) but has been using the old one since before he turned 3. Leapster is great on backwards compatibility and being that the Leapster2 came out last year, I don't think they'll have another one replacing it. The original Leapster2 (green one) is still at reg. price so I think this one is clearanced out only because of the Star Wars styling. HTH and hope I can still get one as well
  23. 204-04-0907 lpstr bundle lpstr2 starwars
  24. I wish it was easy to get someone to buy one and send it to me All but two stores (within 35 mile radius!) sold out of all Leapsters and I bet they'll be sold out by the time I get to look tomorrow Anyone local let me know how much to ship? zip 91761 couldn't hurt to ask...
