They've had this every year for $30 so I don't think you'll have problems getting it. Based on the trouble I personally had and a few others here also had PM'ing Toys R Us Friday Doorbusters (3pm-close) last week, I don't think they will PM "earlybird," "doorbuster," or "timed events" (according to their behind the counter price match policy which they will not put out publicly. Just a rule of thumb..always keep trying. Even when a deal seems dead, the MFR/seller may choose to bring it back in batches. This was the case for this very netbook deal earlier today. I was able to find the deal the 2nd time it was brought up and posted it here. Who knows? Maybe it'll be up for a 3rd time

I don't view webkinz but the issue reported is with the viewable screen specifically with webkinz site. There may always be issues viewing webpages regardless of which laptop/netbook/desktop you would be using.

yes, the T4300 is a dual core. The T6600 is said to have 3mb L2 Cache while the T4300 only has 1mb (on a side note, the Celeron processors have 512kb...1/2 of 1mb...L2 Cache) which will help when viewing videos and running multiple programs/windows at once. It is not a gaming machine but you won't have problems running most games/applications. Elsewhere I read that the T6600 is 21% faster than the T4300 and uses less energy. Two things.. 1st: Core 2 Duo (one of Intel's "brand name" like Celeron, Pentium, Atom, etc.) is better than a standard Dual Core. 2nd: 3GB RAM for the 2nd laptop might be DDR3 Memory (one can hope!) which is MUCH faster than DDR2. The classification of memory/Mhz speed can be a determining factor in how a laptop performs. 3GB of DDR2 is not the same/as fast as 3GB of DDR3. a quick look at newegg.com to compare DDR2 and DDR3 laptop memory will show you the current prices which would make the 2nd laptop (if it does in fact have DDR3 in it) a better value! But that doesnt mean there's anything wrong or slow with DDR2 memory, it will even ship with most laptops now. HTH!

Well..for those of you who were able to get this I'm happy for you :) It seems that they've since taken down the options (in the last 5 minutes) as they had massive orders. Sorry for any frustration this caused, but it was too good a deal to not share.

The coupon has been reported not working if you do not include one of the designer colors. All I can say is to be sure to follow the instructions exactly. one such error from the site where I got this from: "Well, I figured it out, and I can't read directions. I misread your instructions and mistakenly clicked the leftmost netbook on the Holiday Gifts page, not the leftmost netbook under the "Netbook" tab.

you need to follow the directions exactly and click the netbooks TAB (up top) or else it doesn't go through. You also need to add bluetooth FIRST then select one of the 5 designer colors. the regular colors won't give the discount.

I don't think everyone will treat it the same as they would a restroom break. EVERYONE needs to use the restroom at one time or another (some can hold it for a long time!) but not everyone needs/wants to smoke. It's going to be treated as a matter of choice.

well, there is a chance that amazon means that this is available for only one day and their wording is not very clear (because of the "check back tomorrow") so if anyone does purchase this tomorrow or any day that it claims it should be valid and does not get a $50 GC for it, be sure to take a screen shot of the website today to show proof that it DID say that the deal was valid until the posted date. their customer service is superb (IMHO :) ) and they should give you the $50 GC or price adjust something to make up for it. That's what they typically have done with their own mistakes.
