I agree! What better way to Officially kickoff the Christmas season than with a little snow? A few years ago,I awoke bright and early (who can sleep much on BF Eve???) to a couple of inches of snow ONLY on the ground and none on the streets! Now that was perfect imo! The snow set the mood for Christmas, yet it wasn't dangerous to drive in.

I appreciate hearing your input on this. This is my first foray into refurbished electronics and I am a little uncertain.

I had a very pleasant experience at Michael's last BF. It wasn't crowded,they had plenty of stock,the employees were helpful and as friendly as one can be that early in the morning after Thanksgiving. Not too much I actually need in the ad (will get some art supplies) but there's something to be said for NOT fighting tooth and nail for a deal at 5 a.m. on a cold November morning and still getting what you want :)

I just ordered the Nook speeddiva posted on the on-line deals forum ($99 refurb at buy.com). After reading everyone's thoughts on Nook vs. Kindle,I think the Nook will better suit my husband. It's will be a big surprise though because I told him I couldn't afford to buy him one this year!

I just pulled the trigger on this deal for my husband for Christmas. He said he wanted an e-reader (he said "Kindle") and I am hoping this will do but I am nervous about it. Now,if I can just get him to get rid of some of the many books he owns......

I know. Two Targets I went to first thing Sunday morning had NO bagged candy and I have always got candy at 90% off before! While WM had 90% off Halloween,candy was only 50%

I'm saving all my ECBs to spend on BF.I'm going to be rolling those for awhile!

The one I was at yesterday morning went to 90% but candy was only 50%! This WM had tons of stuff left.I assume the other ones in town were about the same. Now,ten cents a bag is what I'm talking about!

Hi! Is this the Haier digital tv for $32xx? I own one and do love it for watching sports. Unlike in the past,these tvs will not pick up any stations in a moving vehicle. Still,they are great little extras to have on hand and at 75%,they're hard to beat-glad you got one!

My closest CVS is open 24 hours,but I think it was 5 or 6 a.m. when the ad officially started. I know for a fact they were selling BF items on Thanksgiving Day last year so don't forget to stop in that day too.

Okay,thanks! My closest CVS had quite a bit of good candy left (ykwim) so I will check later this week. Today's mgr. told me it would go 75% this coming weekend,but I know to check back earlier than that. They are all about Christmas now and want to move that Halloween stuff out so they better start marking it down sooner rather than later. Good idea about checking the regular candy aisles!

I've been making these for about 15 years. I give them as teacher's gifts along with my caramel corn. Allshoppedout-I just use the white coating or milk chocolate coating found at any grocery store. It's not real chocolate so it says something like Bark Coating. I think it was $2.48 at WM the other day. It makes a whole bag of pretzels (I do the mini-twists) plus a little more. I put red and green non-pareils on mine. Easy,festive,inexpensive and delicious!

CVS will have the hamsters BOGO on BF. HTH
