I would love to see that but I doubt it also, they said it costs more to make it than what they are selling it for already.

I think they always do a 4 day sale because that's how many days are left from the sunday-wednesday before Thanksgiving. It's their regular sunday ad.

My teenage neices did this with my mom. They were wanting hollister, and certain shoes and such, it just worked well for them. My mom would take it home and wrap it and they would open it on Christmas. We would all make a day of Christmas shopping and a nice lunch. She didn't want to give cash or gift cards because she wanted to see them open gifts.t

My sister asked my son what he would like for Christmas. He's 12 and is not into toys, really not into much at this age other than video games lol. We limit what we spend on eachother's kids, so she will give him like a gamestop gc to combine with his own money. Don't get me wrong, I have taught my kids that a gift is just that, a gift. It's not something they're entitled to, but she would like to give him a gf towards a game. Myself, I will give anyone what they ask for within reason.

I think it's great that you would welcome someone into your home for Christmas. I hate the thought of anyone spending Christmas alone. I would tell your kids NOTHING can stop santa. He has ways of delivering presents no matter what the circumstances are. Geesh..he manages to come into homes with no fireplaces, and braves blizaards when even planes can't fly. A college kid on the couch surely isn't going to stop him. I would have something special for him to open at least, can't have santa forgetting him.

I don't have a problem with a git request, I guess because eventually I'm going to ask anyway. Some of the gifts I buy I know what they woudl like but others I really have no clue, and would love for them to give me a few ideas.

I would take the free shipping. I'm not aware of any "sales" they ever have on regular merchandise, other than clearance. Plus I think their shipping is high.

I had this type of relationship with my mom too, I lost her this year, and miss her terribley. Anyway, I like personal gifts to show how you really feel about her. I love the photo ideas. Another route is the electronic photo frames, loaded with favorite pics, or a photo quilt. Brighton makes some really nice jewelry that say mom and such on them. I always think about the person when I wear a jewelry item they bought me. Maybe start her a pandora bracelet? Things Remembered always have things you can personalize also. I like to give something practical and something sentimental.

JC Penney has a nice sealy fleece type electric blanket I want. Unsure of the twin price though. It's in their bf ad, but when I was there last week it was the same price.

I'm looking for a deal on a portable basketball system. It's for a 12.5 yr old boy. So I'm guessing nothing less than a 48" backboard. I would like it to be shatterproof also. I've seen the one in wm bf ad and kmarts bf ad. I really like the kmart model and the price, but doubt I will be able to get it. I would appreciate any input. Thanks!
