  1. My ds is 13, and it definitely gets more challenging. My son likes collectible knives, we get him a nice case knife every year. He also really liked air soft guns last year. This year he asked for his first bow. Btw he is a video game nut, this year he's really benn into minecraft. Does he have an Xbox? Maybe Xbox live card?
  2. My dd is easy, she asks for everything lol. My son is the tough one, but it's always been that way. I still have a great niece to buy for so I have a few toys to buy. I just saddens me that my kids have gotten to the age where thy both no longer want toys. My daughter did see the bouncy dog and she like it.
  3. I was just telling dh today that shopping on bf was not going to be as much fun this year, or Christmas shopping in general. My son is 13 and my daughter is turning 11. Electronics, clothes, and shoes...
  4. I was at target today and seen they've already reduced the price of baby butterscotch to 99.00
  5. Time will tell. If they truly stick with this plan I think it would be suicide at Christmas. I love, love target but I have to admit I have felt that they're changing from what I loved about them. I see them more geared toward grocery, and I personally don't care for their grocery section. The prices haven't been as competitive for a while now.
  6. I agree with your prediction. This is very, very cute. My dd is too old but when I seen it, my first thought was that it would be hot this Christmas.
  7. Kmart had it in their ad this week and Meijers is carrying them also except it doesn't say they're 4.13 but when u scan it they ring up for 4.13.
  8. Sorry for any confusion, the sale is on until tomorrow sometime, I think 9:00 AM central.
  9. Like them on facebook and you should get the invite, so sorry.
  10. http://coach.ebay.com/sale Coach Factory sale, act fast they're already selling out. I got one that I wanted but the other sold out within the first ten minutes.
  11. http://mo.daytondailynews.com/business/penney-cuts-600-workers-13-percent-of-hq-staff-1355574.html Looks like we aren't the only people not happy with penney's changes. I hope they can turn this around before it's too late. I miss the old penney's.
  12. I think it's a joke because the selection stinks, and the pricing is only good on clearance.
  13. Well, I finally spent my rewards. I asked the clerk when I checked out if she thought the new concept would last and she said she thought they would keep it. I told her I was really hoping they would return to their old ways. They seemed almost upset with me. I'm not buying that most people are happy with the "new" penney's. I did email them about my feelings and they basically just thanked me for contacting them, and they believe everyone should be treated fair and square. What a joke.
  14. I finally stopped in over the weekend (still didn't spend my rewards), it was buzzing but I didn't see alot of people checking out.
  15. We used to have parisians here, I miss that store so much. We have elder beerman which was bought by bon ton so they closed our parisians.
  16. I've been in twice since the new format, and have came out emptyhanded. I have 30.00 in rewards that expire in March, I've got to spend them on something. The new spring colors are really pretty...I don't know...
  17. I would like to state, that I'm not opposed to everyday low prices, if that is in fact what it is. However, what I compared when I was in there was not the lowest dollar. I wonder if they are doing away with their rewards program also?
  18. No...basically there are no more sales. It seems similar to walmarts "everyday low prices". It's a joke, what I looked at was much higher. I have always loved Penney's, but I doubt I do much shopping there anymore.
  19. I was in penney's today, and noticed a change in their pricing. No sale signs, just red tickets on everything. I asked an associate what was up with their new pricing, and she said said red tags are sale and blue tags are clearance. I asked if it was permanent or temp, she said permanent at least for now. I came home and did some online research and have found this is their new ploy "everyday low prices", which it is not. I'm very unhappy with the new system. I thought it was odd that I haven't gotten any sale info. I compared a pair of Nike pants that I bought for dh before Christmas, I paid 17.99 for them w/o additional discounts. They are now 40.00. Crazzzzyyyyy. If this is how they plan on doing business they have lost a longtime customer. http://www.chicagotribune.com/business/breaking/chi-jc-penney-to-unveil-new-pricing-strategy-next-week-20120120,0,2410271.story
  20. They all produce hot water. It is definitely more economical to buy cocoa packets and tea bags. Last year someone posted how they used the water for ramen noodle soup. To use hot water you just leave out the kcup.
  21. That sounds pretty high, and it's also not sold directly from amazon. I've found those items tend to be higher. This is the set my dh bought http://www.samsclub.com/sams/shop/product.jsp?productId=prod3960103&navAction=.
  22. Kohls might be your best option when they run their next 30% off sale. My hubby bought mine at sams club and it came with the b60 system a ton of kcups, and my kcup, and filters. The b60 has 3 different cup sizes but I can tell you I'm already figuring out tricks to get the most out of my cups. I wanted a large mug full of coffee yesterday morning so I used the large cup option and then I used the small cup option and it was the perfect size. You can get more than one cup of coffee out of a kcup. I'm a newbie so I'm sure others have suggestions.
  23. I just got mine for Christmas. It is great for people with different needs. They have many different options for your coffee tastes and you can always use the My K cup and use your personal coffee of choice. I used mine for the first time this morning and I love it.
