BF shopper probably for 8 or 9 years, since I've been with my husband - who used to go out with his mom for BF and introduced me to exactly how well executed it could be And on GD forums probably for 6 years? I heard about it on the news when I was living in Philly and have been getting the newsletters ever since.

At the risk of alienation and bad taste... South Park Woodland Creature Christmas... not exactly warm and fuzzy but just as memorable... (please don't hate me!)

I'm pregnant for BF this year! It's my first and I'll be around 34 weeks preggo. So I think at this point it's a question of how mobile I will be, considering there's a chance I might be put on bed rest which would be a huge bummer. But if I'm able, I'd like to still go and continue the tradition, even if it means standing in line while hubby shops, or pulling the car around for him... we will see! There's always online shopping but it doesn't beat the excitement of an in-store BF experience.

1. In a surprise to the retail world, umbrellas became the hottest sold-out item this Black Friday. 2. “You two, you’re cute, you’re in. But the dudes have a cover charge. Bruiser, let ‘em in.” 3. No cell service in an electronics store? D’oh!

I got a Swivel Sweeper in a gift exchange a few years ago, and I love it! The rechargeable battery is a great feature. I use it nearly daily in my entry hall to sweep up dirt and debris from everyone's shoes, and it works well both on carpet and flooring. Great for a quick pickup, and easier than a Swiffer.

I have the regular cricut because the expression had just come out and was too far out of my price range. I don't do a lot of paper crafting (just Christmas scrapbooking, some cards) and I only have three Cricut cartridges, but when I do it really looks great. If I had a choice today of which machine and if I had the room for it I'd probably get the bigger machine. Other than being able to cut the vinyl (which lets you do your own etching and wall quotes) and heavier materials, I think it lets you put in larger sheets of paper. The regular Cricut lets you cut characters out of a 6"x12" piece of paper - in other words, half the size of a 12x12 scrapbook card stock piece of paper. They sell Cricut paper that size but if you want to use any kind of special paper you have to cut it yourself, so I ended up buying a paper trimmer so I could easily cut paper to the size the machine could use. I sometimes want to do larger letters or images that the regular Cricut can't handle. If you don't mind either of those two issues, there's nothing wrong with the cheap basic machine.

Will have to wait for the photo from my sis - but wore it all day and even got a few smiles, even from cashiers... Was a little disappointed not to find another GD'er but there's always next year. BTW converted my mother into a BF shopper despite the fact she usually hates crowds and lines.

When I walked into Walmart to try to get the $198 tv doorbuster at 5:30am, I asked people in line (it seemed EVERYONE had one!) where they were located (the maps online were wrong), and one older (late 60s?) gentleman said, "Right over there - and here's my ticket, I already got one." He handed me his ticket. Unfortunately I was probably 30 seconds too late to hear the last call for tickets and didn't get one once they turned it into a free-for-all.... But I was really grateful that he tried to help me out. Maybe it was my BF t-shirt? :)

Missed the 32in Emerson at Walmart by literally 2 people!!! Someone was kind enough to give me a ticket (perhaps it was my GD t-shirt?) after htey had gotten their tv - and by the time I ran over to the thv's, they literally had someone take the last one in the store. Only to find out they are all sold out online. Hoping for Cyber Monday info to pop up soon for another good tv sale. "Oh well, we asked if anyone else had a ticket!!!" And I said, "I couldn't hear with the crowd!" So I'm a little upset that I was so close to geting one. But everyone had one in their cart, and most people bought 2 - why, I don't know, but it was a great price. Sad not to see a similar deal anywhere on Amazon. Kohl's was a 90 minute wait in line around the store (DH stood in line). Sam's Club was empty. Home Depot was empty. Other than the Walmart tv issue it was a great time!

As I've just finished my halloween costume... I'm a little out of creativity. But, if I were to dress up on BF I would go as a Octomom with babies all attached to me - and hopefully it would be enough of a distraction I could dash to the front of the line!
