Yep, the prices are in full effect! I just got back from Walmart and they had a huge stack of the holiday toy books on the customer service desk. FYI: Some of the things in the book are actually cheaper than the price listed. To name a few, the HULK smash hands are $10 instead of $15. The Indiana Jones Mutt Williams Sound FX sword is also $10, not $16.72 like the book says. I found two Star Wars Crayola Color Explosion sets in the clearance aisle for $5.00 each. In the toy book it says they're $9.96 each.

I just signed up for "Rewards R Us" and they gave me a one time code for FREE shipping. Good from 11/6 - 11/20. I assume they do this for all new members, but I'm not sure. Just wanted to let you all know in case they do. This will come in handy for me! I will definitely be buying a few things from them soon!

It's only the doorbuster/early bird section of the ad for sure! The rest will get leaked eventually. On the top of the ad, it says: "Hurry in! 7 hour sale prices and rebates apply to this 4-page section only."

I looked in my early edition sunday newspaper, also, and there was not a Target book in it. I got 2 sunday papers today, thinking I would give a TRU book to my brother and nephew, only to find there wasn't any in there, and no Target either. So, back to only having one TRU book. LOL Not sure if the Target book is out yet. If not, I would think it'll be out for sure next weekend.

Went to Walmart yesterday, they had 2 areas with shelves completely full of Elmos. One was near the middle of the store, the rest in the toy section. Went there today to pick up a prescription, and the entire shelf in the middle of the store was empty.

It says "savings in store or online" so I guess you have to wait until sunday to find out the price. I have to wait, too, to find out the supposedly "hot" price for clone trooper helmets. We'll see just how hot those prices are. lol

Do you have to travel far to shop at your favorite stores on BF? Or do you live pretty close to the stores that you shop at? I'm lucky, I have a lot of stores under 3 miles from my house, and they're almost all on the same street. Kmart is the closest, just about 2 miles from me. Walgreens is across the parking lot from Kmart, and Walmart is just 3 blocks or so up the street. Target is close to Walmart. They are separated by Rainbow Foods and a parking lot. LOL There's also a Menards, CVS Pharmacy, Lowe's and Home Depot in the same vicinity, just across the street. Up the street from Target is Best Buy. I love it!

Last year, Kmart had Huffy bikes 50% off the day after Black Friday. They were $29.99 and were an early bird item. Hopefully someone will have a good deal on a bike for you this year!

In the "what are you looking for this year" thread, I posted that I was hoping for Star Wars Force Action Lightsabers to be on sale, my brother and nephew want one. Well, Walmart.com has them on sale for $15 right now, so I ordered them! I really wanted to wait for some ads to come out in case they're on sale, but I've never seen them priced this low. They were even higher on Black Friday last year, so I feel like I just got a good deal! Had to jump on it. I know 2 little boys that will be very happy.

I do both. I try to get all of my shopping done on BF. I usually buy myself something, too.

I'd like to see some awesome deals on Virgin Mobile phones and top-ups. Not gonna get my hopes up for it, but it'd be nice. I'm also hoping for some Star Wars toy/clothes to be on sale. Especially the force action lightsabers. My nephew and little brother are really into Star Wars now. Other than that, just movies, toys, clothes, maybe a new dvd player, and an iPod. Nothing major!

I always go with at least one person, but everyone I know isn't as into Black Friday as I am. They want to start shopping at like 9:30am, and "just look around". I want to be there when the door opens, take my time, go to any store I want, etc. People slow me down, so I might go by myself this year. lol

I usually go to Kmart on Thanksgiving. I don't get much because I know the BIG shopping day is the next day. They usually do have some good things on sale, though.
