Thank you for telling us! :)

Thanks for the info! I've shopped Walgreens' 75% off after Christmas sale, but never thought to go after Halloween! I went today and got a cool glowing skull that plays the halloween movie theme and a Snoopy yard decoration for a total of $4. Regular total would have been about $17. :) They had lots of treat bags, candy and stickers left. But it was pretty much wiped out. The workers were stocking tons of Christmas stuff when I was there. lol

Dates When Ads Came Out (2005-2008) & Ad Item Lists (2003-2008)
sweetdiggity replied to Brad's topic in 2009
I sure hope so! Now that Halloween is 'out of the way', I'm really excited for some ads!!! -
LOL Getting threatened in September? Ok, whatever Walmart... Chances are, we'll see it before Nov. 23rd whether they like it or not.

Christmas has started to appear in the stores
sweetdiggity replied to mommy2twingles's topic in 2009
No Christmas stuff at my Walmart yet, but Kmart has a lot of stuff out. No trees yet, though. lol -
I have been getting it - and loving it for free for a few years now, and my most recent issue also came with a bill. I love the magazine and have gotten some awesome recipes that I now make every year, so I will probably subscribe. It's not too much.

$5 MP3 credit when buying a free game @ amazon.com
sweetdiggity replied to jmyersfl's topic in Online Hot Deals
Thanks so much!! My first download was "Here Comes The..." by Butch Walker feat. Pink. Awesome song! Love it!! -
I love the rush and the deals! It's an awesome way to kick off the holiday season. Shopping in the early morning, still dark outside, lots of people, saving lots of money, how can anyone not love it?! It's fun.

Check card, cash, ads, list of what I'm getting and where, cell phone, coffee, elbow pads, running shoes, and a helmet. Well, most of that stuff is true.

When I first read this question, I couldn't think of much, but now the list is getting long. I will be looking for deals on Legos, some home stuff, I need a new desk and I am really wanting a laptop. Nothing too fancy, just something with word processing, internet and maybe a dvd burner, too. Anyone have suggestions? I need clothes, and I would love to get my parents a big TV, if I can afford it. We'll see.

yeah, they were cute!

I wanted to get the plug and play Star Wars Clone Wars interactive game, but just as I went to log on to their site, they said it was sold out. They sure went fast. Looked like a really cool video game that my brother would love. Might be a popular item this year. I'll be keeping my eye out for it.

You're not the only one! lol

I have it on right now and am also getting in the mood to shop. LOL

I got the $8 jeans. That was an awesome sale.

It is not crazy to think of BF in July, considering I went to my local Dollar Tree today, and they had tons of HALLOWEEN/FALL stuff on the shelves. LOL I could not believe it. Then to top it off, I get home and in the mail is a "Fall Harvest" catalog. Every year, the holiday stuff gets put out earlier and earlier... If the stores can stock for holidays that aren't really close, we can talk about 'em!
-
That was going to be my answer. :) I sometimes go with a friend/relative or two, but they're not really into it like I am. They don't care what time they get to a store, don't really know what they're getting, etc, whereas I have a game plan. LOL So, I prefer to go alone and most of the time, I do. Probably will this year!
-
I'll watch that, and I always watch The "countdown to Christmas" special on October 25th, too. I love that even more because it's just 60 days before Christmas, the weather is usually cooler, and it is awesome. Feels more holiday like to me. lol
-
Please do!

True. Last year I found some cheap games at Kohls in November and got them. I mostly look for good bundles on BF. And I forgot to mention Lego deals on Bf, too. Always looking for them.
-
I thought I was crazy! I was browsing Kmart.com last night and seen "Christmas Lane" and was like LOL I've heard of "Christmas in July" but that's just nuts! Too early for me. If it's hot enough to have air conditioning on, I am NOT even thinking of Christmas. I am excited for BF though.
-
As of now, how much do you plan on spending this holiday?
sweetdiggity replied to Brad's topic in 2009
In the past, I've usually only spent a couple of hundred on BF, but this year I will be spending a little more. Not too much, but at least $100-$200 more. The reason is - I've started saving earlier. Like last year, I didn't even start thinking of BF until sometime in October, which didn't give me much time to save. lol Then BF came and I wished I had a little more money! But, this year I've been putting a little money away each month, and 20 weeks is still plenty of time. so, I planned ahead this year. -
Mostly things that I would only buy for Christmas gifts. Like DS games, Wii games, etc. I don't have a DS or Wii, but my brother and nephew do, so I buy them games for Christmas.
-
Awesome! I'm glad I'm not the only one already thinking of Black Friday! 20 weeks seems sooo far away. lol Oh well. Gives me time to save extra money.

So Do You Think Walmart Will Have A Lot of The $2 DVD's In Stock?
sweetdiggity replied to summerrluvv's topic in 2008
I got to Walmart right at 5am and there were tons of movies. Everyone was swarming that area. lol I got Spiderman 1 & 2 for my brother, as well as TMNT and March of the Penguins. 2 hours later, there was hardly any movies left. lol
