It's never too early to think about Black Friday!

Depending on how much I money save, I may be looking for a cheap laptop. Nothing fancy, just for basic work and email, etc. I will be looking for Wii games, accessories, and toys. My list will be much larger, but that's all I can think of for now.

After reading this thread this morning, I've become even more excited. I've begun thinking of items and making a list. This is record timing for me, usually don't start until October. ;-)

The only thing I've done is save money. lol

So excited!! I've got my act together compared to previous years and have been saving money for awhile now, instead of starting in October. lol Can't wait to start seeing some ads!

Has anyone who bought this been able to get it to work? It was a major pain to install, but I finally got it. Now I open the game up, press play, and nothing happens. I read online that other people could never get it to work either. Something about the video card it needs. What a bummer! My brother was so excited to play it.

I ordered 4 pairs of women's jeans, a hoodie for my brother, and a dvd in a seperate order. The only thing that shipped was the hoodie. Everything else is still 'processing'. Should I be worried, too? lol

I didn't go at opening, as I had planned. Did most of my shopping online. By the time I got there, there was only $25 and $10 games. Most of them were for PS2 and Xbox. I didn't even see a pallet for $7 games, though.

Wow! Now that's great service. lolI ordered something right after the sale started, too. It shipped yesterday, to my surprise, so maybe I'll get a delivery today as well! I wonder why the shipping is so fast for Black Friday, but any other time it's 7-10 days??? Not that I'm complaining.

The second the sale starts.

Mine was delivered earlier, and I got ALL the ads - including the Kmart Thanksgiving and Walmart ads I've been on the hunt for all week. lol This is so exciting. Happy Thanksgiving!

Same here. I am getting ticked off. No Wally ad still, and no Kmart Thanksgiving day ad either.

No ad for me in today's paper.

No map for me, either. That's ok, not going for any big ticket items that will be placed in strange areas. lol

The BF ad is now on Walmart.com and if you click on the items in the ad, they tell you if they're available online, in-store, or both. The GPS units are both online and in-store. :) You can also print your BF maps for your local store. lol

I always get there right before the sale starts. Like 5 or so minutes. I am going to check out the cheap Wii games, DVDs, hoodies, jeans, and some other small things like games. Nothing too major, but yeah, the electronics dept. is nuts. Last year I had to ditch my cart by the auto dept. just so I could walk and look at the dvds. Then I went and got my cart again. lol

It's funny how we already have seen the ad, know what's in the ad, but still want the ad in our hands! lol There's just something about having an actual copy in your possession that makes it ....that much more exciting!!! There better be an ad in the morning's paper.

Does anyone know if it was supposed to be in today's paper? I thought it was going to be released tomorrow? I didn't get one in my paper today, but sure hope I do tomorrow! I did get the menards ad in today's paper, though. The rest are always in the Thanksgiving edition.

My Walmart is like Black Friday almost any time I go there, so the crowd doesn't bother me too much. LOL It is a little harder to get things like $2 dvds when there are tons of people swarming them, but I usually get to check them out as the crowd moves to other sections. Last year, people were swarming the cheap video games and dvds, and I was grabbing cheap jeans. Then I grabbed some dvds while the crowd shifted to the clothes. LOL I hope it goes well again this year. Can't wait!!!!!!! Wally looks to be my only stop this year. Probably will do some price matching from Toys R Us' ad, and maaaybe go to Walgreens and Kmart. But Wally is a must.
