yes the portal is compatible. You can buy the whole version or the "portal owners" version.

as long as the portal is with the same system. We had the portal from the wii skylanders original game. Then we bought the xbox game and the portal doesnt work for that. Portals do not interchange systems but they work with both versions of the game. hth

yep agree here also. We got the original skylanders last year for DS6 & we now have the giants too. DS11 loves skylanders too & they play together all the time. We need a small suitcase for the giants

Yes, that is absolutely how it works at Target. I got ipod touches last year. I paid for the first one reg price & got a giftcard. I then paid for the other two seperately and used a giftcard from the previous purchase on each one. The giftcard is instant & check out seperately and you can use them and still get another giftcard back.

The Wii portal takes batteries but the Xbox version has a cord attached. We have both versions for both systems.

I think you should keep looking! My huband wears ariat's to work in everyday & they wear out very fast for him. He says they are comfy and we buy them anyway but the only last about 4 months. I also have Ariats and they have lasted for about 2 years. If you have narrow feet these will be a good fit for you. DH also has some Justin's that have never wore out but he doesnt like them as much for everyday use. I can't comment about Ropers since we have never bought any. I do have a pair of Baby Fat (or something like that) and they are very "stylish" but very uncomfortable. I hate them! Kids grow fast and just do what you can afford. I personally wouldnt buy boots at a target or walmart or store like that. Those are really junk. Sierra trading had stellar deals but sizes are limited.

I live in Illinois and dont have a Modells but they have a good airsoft gun package in the BF ad. I think I may order it online for my boys.

Do you think this is because people will have to choose what to wait for if they want something at the 8 oclock sale & then at 10 oclock sale? You can get your items at the 8 oclcok sale and then be guaranteed they items you need at 10 will also be there. If it works, it's a genius idea. If it doesn't, it will be like the Best Buy disaster last year.

Im glad to hear that you work for walmart & your happy with the start time. It's nice to know that some employees are ok with it. I'm going whatever time they start because I can eat everyday & I see my family all the time so Thanksgiving is not really a big deal for me. Walmart will be my main shopping store this year & I am pleased with the ad. I think last year the deals were just a little better but that was due to the economy. I am also in the market for lots of electronics & gaming items so the ad works for me!!

I was hoping for a better deal on the dre beats headphones but I wasn't too excited for the ad overall.

I remember that my store had a lot more deals posted in store that were not in the flyer. I went in to get some shotgun sheels, B1G1 1/2 off but I ended up with a cart full of nike hoodies & nike pants that were all 50% off.

I went to my local store, zipcode 62959, & they said layway will be 9-5 on black friday. You can put BF items as well as clearance on that day but the sale still has to be on during the 9-5 hours to get the BF price.

Our 2 stores always have the wrong info too! usually the stock people dont put the pallets in the right place!

The company that I worked for gave us a ham every year. I hated it. Not a fan of ham and it was big enough for our family but not big enough for a "family gathering." I think lunch would be better option & maybe you could buy a few items that you could draw names to win for an additional bonus. These could be a few better priced, maybe $25, gifts. Good luck & it really just depends on your budget. I could probably give more ideas but Im not sure what your budget is:)

I think that means the doorbuster price during BF hours. If you try to buy the items after hours the price will go up.

My DS11 is also asking for Boarderlands 2, cheapest so far is in the military exchange ad at % off. I think it was $39.99. Can you ad match it? My Walmart will only ad match stores within 50 miles of us

They have it in the military exchange BF ad for $49.99. Do you know anyone who can get it for you? I bought it last weekend for $74.99 xbox with the portal. FYI- we had the Wii Skylanders Game and the "skylanders" are interchangeable but the portal is not. Wii portal is for the Wii, Xbox portal is for the xbox but characters are for anything.

I think thats 3 giftcards a $10 a piece. I was looking for a good deal on the Dre beats headphones. They are not that great of a deal but you will get $30 back in giftcards. I dont ever shop at radio shack so the GC don't impress me.
