I have also used several coupons at a time. While we were in line they made the statement several times that if you have coupons you can use "XX" per transaction. I'm thinking it was only 2 coupons but it may have been 3? I had a free item, $10 off, and maybe a 20%.

Thankgoodness for Lowes! I need four 30" swivel barstools & I'm going to save $160 off on Black Friday. I guess DH will have to go BF shopping this year & get them. They take up too much room & I have to be at other stores

Pull your christmas decorations out of the rubbermaid totes & fill them with the presents, hide it in luggage in your closet, wrap them & if they can get cold (just not electronics) put them in a large black trash bag & move it behind stuff in the garage, put the presents inside quilts etc in the closet..the possibilities are endless.

Monster Mash was hot this morning on the radio. I kept switching stations & it seemed like it was on all of them. For now it will just be my Christmas Wow cd from last year that I put into itunes & listening on the ipod.

We buy for 33 people, not including our family of 6. I've got a good chunk of my gifts ordered, lots of B&BW online and some other things coming. Everything we bought so far for our 4 sons is wrapped with paper & ribbons minus the bows. Those go on last so they dont get crushed! This is the first year that "I'm a boss & killing it", lol or thats what DS11 tells me.

sadly I didn't get the coupons but my local Bed bath Beyond lets you combine manufacturer & their store coupons.

Black Friday is sometimes the exception to the price matching rule so you really need to research the specific stores before you go. Are there any stores in particular that you're needing? My Walmart price matches all store within 50 miles of the stores location.hth

Def. a die hard here. I have all my ads bound together in plastic page protectors. I have the pages I need to ad match marked with a paper clip on top. I have my own "want" list typed out for each store & one list a whole to keep track of all the days items. I also have copies of my 2 black friday friend's lists, so I can grab whatever I see for them. We bring a small cooler that we leave in the car. Its got water & soda & small snacks for the day in it. I also bring the must haves like chapstick & hand sanitizer. I ALWAYS bring a good attitude, no matter what time it is.

Grandparents are also hard to shop for too. They have eveything & need nothing. I usually get granny a giftcard to her fav restaurant, a store giftcard (usually target), a low value gas giftcard & a book of stamps. Granny still mails bills using snail mail:yup: I put all the giftcards in a small box for "a night out on the town" & I add the book of stamps to the actual card. Dad says he "doesnt want anything & doesnt need anything". I usually make him a snack box of things he likes but rarely buys because of the cost. (pistacho's,beef jerky, & mixed nuts.) I also throw in a giftcard to the local sporting goods store.

Does anyone know if the free tote w/purchase is available online? Or is it just in store?

toy shopping is going to light this year at my house also. I have four boys ranging from 7-16 and toys are scarce. I will probably get them some nerf guns (all of them) to play with on xmas in the house,maybe a remote control or two, legos. The new nerf firvision football & bounce ball are cool too. Thats probably about it. all they wants are electronics & xbox stuff.

DS7 is asking for skylanders Giants. We have 2 xbox's and the wii rarely gets played, so I'll move it into his room & get the game & a few giants for it. We already have the old game & portal. He also wants his own ipod touch so he doesnt have to use mine. Im hoping for a good deal on the old touch since the new colored ones are now available. He would also like a dreamlight & its a tiger that I think you have to buy exclusively online. DS11 is asking for a turtle beach xbox headset & a new ipod touch. Also a "mod" controller. If anyone can find them for a descent price, please pm me. He's also asking for minecraft legos. Those things are going in and out of stock so I guess I need to get on it. DS13 is asking for the same as DS11 except he wants the wireless turtle beach headset. DS16 is asking for the beats by dr dre headphones. Only specifics are no black or white in color.

Did you try your local sams club? I've bought several mattress/beds from there are they are excellent quality. They have decent bedroom furniture also and it usually only in a queen size.
