You guys missed quite a four hour show tonite. Lots of great info and even got to the point where, well... things happen that we can't post here in the PG forums. Hehe!

Just heard a commercial for The Room Store in AZ: Buy $1000 in furniture and get an HP Touchpad courtesy of Best Buy FREE! Looks like someone's holding back on us after all.

Some new features there are still a bit buggy and overall it needs some serious love and fine tuning, but I hope testing last year's charts gives folks an idea of what to expect this year.

Advanced sorting Beta Test #1 is up: BF 2010 Charts. Beta testers needed. Had a brainstorm last night and thought I'd give things a test run. Lemme know what'cha think and if ya encounter any problems.

How 'bout something that lets ya sort things out of the charts one by one at a time. Like an option to keep/remove only items that are less than/greater than/equal to a certain value or equal to a certain brand/store/type/etc. Sorry, that's a rather mathematical way of putting it, but I hope ya get the idea. Wouldn't be that hard to do at all.

I think a good number of people here are gonna be lined up at the insane asylum if Brad doesn't get an ad... and SOON!

Just wanted to give a shoutout to all our new members and everyone returning for BF and beyond!

That's one thing I was considering doing. Something like being able to select what parts of the chart ya wanna see and even being able to show just those parts in the printable format. All that detail would help the serious tekkie shoppers lookin' for a great deal and it allows for non-tekkie folks to eliminate all the mumbo-jumbo.

Just a few thoughts I'd like from everyone: what do y'all think about the way all the charts are given? Too much info? Too little? What sort of features would ya like to see this year? I need some opinions on it as my mind is so tekkie-savy it's hard for me to see things from a typical consumer's point of view. Also I've been thinking about adding DVD and blu-ray movies and TV show sets to the list this year. People seem to like those cheap movie bins at most stores. Be good to know where the best movie deals are.

If you honestly want one for that price ($100 more than what they were going for) just hop over to Amazon or even eBay and get one. Personally I hope no one with some sense falls for that. They were a great deal at $99 and $149, but for $250 ya could probably do better.

I think most years you've got that letter in hand by now. Long before any ads start rollin' in. Wonder if they've gone soft this year. So, does this mean if someone gets the WallyWorld ad early we get to post it?

I'm a little worried about the WM legal letter myself. Don't tell me they've gone soft this year?

Seeing as you're from Alaska ya probably think you'd be a shoe-in for that contest, don'tcha? At least until ya find out that one of us (JohnnyLarue) comes in from Japan.

What if someone took the ads as they come out this year and compared the items to what was offered for BF years ago? Would YOU wait in line overnite for a 128 MB MP3 player or a laptop with 1.2 GHz processor and 256 MB of memory ?
