I have a few ideas for my DH, but he didn't really mention anything specific yet, so nothing is set in stone. I'd love to hear what you are getting your SO this year. Do you have a budget for your SO, or just buy what they ask for? I am usually done buying for my DH before he has even started his shopping, so whatever I spend on him is his allowance to spend on me. He doesn't always follow that though. LOL

My boys have pretty much finalized their lists. As Christmas comes closer, I keep hearing certain things that are higher on the list than others. I will buy those things first, and if I have the time and money, get the other things. Depending on how long their lists are, pretty much anything that is ON the list is from Santa. Anything else that I buy, that I want them to have, but they didn't specifically ask for, is from Mommy and Daddy or their sibling. Santa presents are always wrapped in Santa themed paper, different from what their others gifts are wrapped in. DH and I usually wrap one of our gifts in Santa paper too, so we have a Santa present as well. This year, we are planning a Wii as a family gift from Santa, so we will each have a game and some accessories from Santa, and we will let the boys open the Wii itself. :)

Really? I appologize for adding to the confusion. It really stinks that they can't find new stuff to put on sale for BF. There will be other things not in the BTB that will be sale on BF though right? I thought the BTB and BF ad were totally different. Looks like lots of other Floridians got theirs already... nothing for me yet.

Not a silly question :) The big toy book is not the BF ad. The majority of the items on sale on black friday will be different than what's in the big toy book. It's hard to say since the BF ad hasn't been posted yet, but I suspect the prices in the BTB are the lowest we will see them. I doubt they would run a month long sale, and then have the same things cheaper on BF. People would be throwing a fit, and they would be doing price adjustments out the wazoo. HTH.

Thank you for that info. I will call my store to check just in case. Target is right down the street and TRU is 20 minutes from me, so I would rather save the gas if possible. I have done price adjustments before, but never price matching, so I wasn't sure how it worked. That helps so much.

Could you tell me where you find the price matching info on the website? All I could find was price adjustments. Must have missed it. :)

My DH keeps mentioning wanting a food dehydrator. I am not sure how others feel, but I think it's odd. That being said, I am definately getting him one. LOL

I don't know if this is the right place for this post, but I was curious if there was a list of stores that price match? And if they will price match with any store or are there certain ones? (i.e. Walmart to Target, but not CVS, etc.) Does it apply on Black Friday as well?

I got the Batcave this morning for my son. So excited to have saved $15!

I don't know what the regular price is, but Rocky is in the Kmart sale paper this week for $49.99 :) Edit: I just checked TRU, and it's $59.99 there.
