Thanks for your kind words and Good luck to you in finding your BF deals. lincolndog, I am sorry I have not heard of that model. Besides asking all the savvy people here, I sometimes go on Amazon and look the model up and then read the review there... and also the store that sells it, BB or Walmart, there is alot info to be found in the customer reviews. I think the 2 main things to be looking out for is Text to Speech (if you want that) and Points of Interest (but I believe it has been said, didn't know if you read this whole thread). :)

I just might try one more Eagle (my sis checked at hers-none). Then I may go to Walmart, but I will have to make sure the dvd sleeve/picture is exactly the same... Thanks.

I hope someone else reads this and gives their thoughts because I am not really sure. It is true BF is LESS than 14 days away however Targets sales run Sun-Sat...and I think their price adjustment policy might have to be WITHIN the 2 sale weeks prior to BF. In other words you'd need to buy the item sometime from Nov 16 -22 or Nov 23-29 because that would be Two Sale ads---but this is MY opinion, I could be wrong. Lets hope someone else sees your post. (I am not the most experienced person here but I try to help.:))

Ok I am pleased. I selected the Garmin Nuvi 200W at Target, it was 219.00 on sale for 179.00 this week and will be 119.00 on BF when I will get the price adjustment. Glad I don't have to stand in line to fight people It looks very nice. It got good reviews! They only had about 6. Thanks everybody for your help.

Actually I picked up everything that is in the 2 day BF ad--TODAY, except, I forgot the leapster games, I had a list and ran out of paper, it was on the back of the paper So I will go back, there will still be alot probably. They still sell games for the original leapster right? I mean I have the OLDER-older, model of it, before they made it lighter and tinier... I did have a bunch of other purchases I needed too, shampoo, Dove Chocolates, The Simpson Season 7 and 8....so I don't look tooooo obvious. Now I just hope I get a pleasant person when I have to price adjust my stuff on BF.

Guess what--just so you all didn't think I was crazy... I found it when I looked in my Giant Eagle ad this a.m.--the sale started Thursday. It was 3.95. There were none left--RATS.

You know I don't see how they could do that. I got the same verbage in my email as Promom got. I am in PA, I don't know where she is from -her avi doesn't say...but not likely PA... When I sent my ? to them, they didn't ask where I was or anything, so I don't think they can just go and change it per state. One would think anyway that these stores would try to KEEP customers and make them HAPPY...so they SHOULD be very accomodating (but I am sure one of us may encounter a snotty person here or there...) just MHO.

Thank you for your reply bopen. I have limited money but want to get a very nice product for someone that helps my son. She saw my TomTom once and her eyes popped out--I know she wants one, she drives a good bit. I don't want to worry about saving 10-20 dollars if I get a much better item for those extra 20 bucks, you know. I don't have access to Target BF at the moment but I believe it said the regular price to the Garmin is 219.00

Didn't know where to put this but the TARGET, RED Reusable shopping tote that is usually 99 cents and is on sale Two for a dollar might make a NEAT GIFT BAG Especially if you have someone who is very environmentally conscious. I mean no matter what you put in it. But you could also get "green" products to fill it with as a gift idea...

It is my understanding that Target doesn't have early bird specials. All there stuff is on for 2 days...but remember the best deals/popular items will go first--and fast. Target does restock though.

Thanks very much for your reply (fellow PA girl :)) I didn't mean to trouble you into searching through old receipts. I just thought it might look a little better if I got something else... I think I want to try for that Magellan GPS it is 119.00 but has 5 million Points of interest. The 99.00 one is only like 1.3 million POI. I will have to put out 219.00 though to get the Magellan now. I have never done the price adjustment thing and I am just concerned because it is a whole hundred dollars we are talking about. I already emailed corporate and am taking a copy of the letter though. Wish me luck --hope they don't pull it from the display before I can get one.

Did you buy a few extra things, when you bought all the stuff early? I mean did you buy say, some kleenex or a magazine in there with all the BF stuff, so not to look extremely suspicious, or don't they care at all?

I am sorry forgot this-- OR would you try for the TomTom 125 on sale at kmart on BF for 99.00?

I feel badly for all of you. I have 3 cousins born in December... It is sooo freaky because after dinner I was actually thinking of beginning a thread about JANUARY b-days, I come on here and find this thread. My son is exactly 1 month AFTER Christmas. Every time we have had a party he has gotten lousy presents.... What is worse than b-day presents that are wrapped in Christmas paper? How about b-day presents that were other kids' Christmas present! I am sure 85% of any presents he got at kids parties were re-gifted things from their Christmas booty. Almost everyone one without a receipt or gift voucher. For the past 10 years. One clue I caught on to was that none of the parents ever said "What does he really want? or what size does he wear?" They don't ask because they know they'll unload their own son's unwanted CD or DVD... I realize I may sound snobby or something, but I am not, please know that I never give a gift that I wouldn't want to receive myself. And it has nothing to do with some of these families suffering financially because I could totally understand that situation. Believe me I have tried returning or exchanging--usually with no luck. He could never understand why he'd get such lousy gifts. Made him very sad. He'd say, "Mom we got Tony that nice Wii game and all he gave me was a calendar" I must ad this point too. It is very hard to find gifts for him. Many shelves are bare after Christmas...and the stores do inventory, so things don't get restocked. Oh sure I learned, I now buy his b-day gifts while I Christmas shop-because I know nothing will be left to pick from. And so I could see if maybe someone did look for something for him and found nothing good--but then they could just get him a gift card. I have given thought about having his party either 1 month early or 1 month late, but DH NEVER wanted to even consider it. I know 1 month early is too close to BF... but if it were 1 month late, that'd give stores time to get more things in--and just maybe "Tony" would pass his unwanted gift onto the goodwill or a charity. Ok I'll be quiet.

That is what I feel to. Those should be 1.98!!! not 3.98 I was hoping for better deals. Some of the titles are unreadable/unguessable, to me anyway. The pics are blurry. I can tell you on the Circuit City BF ad, they state new releases 9.99 and they picture like four popular new movies and then in tiny print it says "see store for more" hmmmm trying to entice us...

That's all I got
