Know what I have said/thought the same thing. This DVD player should have never ever been 139.99 to begin with That is just awful. It should have been $70 and we'd be getting it for $35 right now! The thing is, it is kid-safe. My son drops stuff all of the time, so I need this kind. If you buy a $50.00 regular DVD player, and have to replace it just once, you are spending $100 bucks already. Fisher Price KNOWS this Trouble is, I can't even find one at 50% off.

Ok I went to a different Target (I've only gone to this one once before.) There were 3 huge shelves that read 75% off but were entirely empty! --Guess I missed the HOT stuff while I was babysitting yesterday I picked up a few things I was sort of interested in, and scanned them hoping they'd be 75% --even though some said 30% and 50%--no such luck that is all they were. NO DVD players at any markdown. I would also love to have any extras but that makes 6 of us and I doubt that many extra are around... +PM me if you got a FP DVD PLAYER at 75% off and you'd want to sell me one.+ I did find, on some aisle by the towels a Dora Explorer Junior Scrabble game, that someone obviously abandoned, it was 3.24 and I got it. I saw 3 Didj StarWars, but they were $44. and I want them half that. I am wondering if the didj will be around next year and what good is a system I paid $44 for, but can't find any new games for?? No DVD players, no good Cars toys, so so disappointing. Guess I'd need to go out of state to get a good deal LOL. then that'd waste too much in gas!

I just can't find the coupons... I see coupon codes regarding leapster, but when I hit the Printable coupon "tag" on the site it sends me to printable coupons for particular stores, not for a brand name of a toy, for instance... Am I doing something wrong? **ok forget it, I found the coupons on the link from supershopper Thanks :)

I went to my Target last night. Disappointed once again. There was 1 endcap marked 75%, it had like 4 pitiful things on it. So I wonder did I miss alllll the good stuff earlier in the day--or did they mark very little down to 75%? There was a bunch of 30% off stuff and a little 50% off. No Kid tough DVD player in sight. They had the CARS Dinoco Garage (that someone listed earlier, for just 50% off, so that makes it still like 10.XX and the other poster got it for like $3.98) I guess I have to begin driving further and checking other Target stores, I am tired of getting nothing here.... I am not sure if I miss all the markdowns-and am unlucky--or if they just don't mark much down very low....because I rarely see 75% off signs, in any department.

Thanks for the info shoppingal. I am near Pgh. PA and I never get the stuff that the ladies on here find in their Target's unfortunately.....but I am going to try my closest Target tonight. I am hoping to find that things were marked down this afternoon. Sorry you had such a frustrating time., I hope you managed to get a few good things. (My Target often doesn't have stuff done on time/in time. On Tuesdays--when new DVDs are released--they are never ready! They open at 8, I get there around 9 usually and they aren't on the shelves yet!) I'd love one of the DVD players, they are way too much expensive to start with.

I want some deals, I guess I'm gonna have to go to Kansas to get 'em. But seriously, congrats to you

Wow! I looked at my Target by they had only "wired" GH stuff. I didn't realize they were still making that stuff... I wanted to pick up another disk or Guitar for my son...

Thanks jen, I'll have to check out the A. Idol ones! We are all hooked over here. I was a little disappointed about the country songs in that, they definitely chose songs that were NOT necessarily one of the artist's bigger hits (Josh Turner for example...) and Faith Hill's Red Umbrella, there are about 7 others hits of hers that I'd have put on the disk before RU..but there were still good ones and my son looooovvves country so we were ok with it :) I guess it all comes down to how much money singstar wanted to pay per rights to each artist...

I got PS2 singstar, 2 mics with COUNTRY Disk and also the Legends of Rock disk. It was a huge hit. Aunts, Uncles over singing, it was a blast. I got 2 more mics and the 80's disc to give to my son for his b-day in a few weeks... What I was gonna ask is did you always use it on the same TV? I used it on upstairs TV with my son and we did so well and had good marks--and in the newer, nicer TV downstairs, we got alot of echo and "bad" scores alot, but it was still fun. Just annoying why we went "downhill" on a different TV. (I got lead singer on one song, upstairs). I'd recommend it to anyone. More fun than karaoke!

I think Starbucks cards are great for the teachers! I think Dunkin Donuts cards would be good too, as their coffee is yummy. My son's teacher is fantastic, she is very thorough, knowledgeable, sensitive to his needs, supportive, (he has special needs.) Son and I selected a funny card, a BBW lotion and body mist and also a nice sterling/gemstone bracelet. She loves all of it. Infact my son said she had the bracelet on today!! (I have learned from years past to give the gifts a few days early because somehow either my child or the teacher would become sick --or there would be a snow day and we hate the gift to be late...) This woman gets a bigger gift than other teachers ever have, but she does more than anyone else ever has. .

I am a mom, but if I were a dad, I'd do the same as you! Plus the confusing sign--you are so correct that if it was not for a customer, why does the sign mention "unpaid merchandise" They were rude, out-of-bounds, and were probably mad because it is the restroom they use all the time and try to keep it "reserved" for themself. They should've seen you had your kids best interest in mind. I am sooooo glad you got an apology--good for you! Nice that there are dads out there who are so good to their daughters! (Girls can definitely see too much in a regular mens room. )

I was at my Target yesterday there were 2 of them and looked at it and then left it because it said $30. I guess the shelf sale tag was never put on (or fell off) bummer.. More gas to go back to get it... if those 2 are still there..

I found Canon PIXMA printer cartridges for $ 7.46 ! YEAH! Never any minutemaid, I don't believe it will ever happen. My shelves are always full and never do I see any pack but the 15.

Not that this isn't a fine mixer---but I don't know anyone who has one. This is not Artisan. I heard alot of favorable things about ARTISAN 5 qt. one, I got mine for 229.00 on Amazon 2 weeks ago. It has 325 watts--and 2 additional attachments (dough hook and another thing) The one above does NOT--and the attachments are very expensive. Personally I would not get the one at Kohl's however if you have no mixer at all then you may need to get it.

Thank you soooo much for such a complete list. Did you happen to see what kind of Holmes heater was onsale. It said 2 pack. Do you know if they were tiny ones like a box, maybe 10 in. by 1 ft ?? I just bought some...and wondering if I'll be going back for a PA or maybe take the sale ones....

I am so bummed out to see this gone. My son had an older one, and he played it so much it died, so we got a new one--same model and it wasn't cheap believe me. I searched for a deal, but found none, so I just bought it because he needed to have one. He has been using the second one for 6 months. I want another "spare" badly under 30 if possible (as I have already spent 100 dollars on these in the past 3 years) Not to mention the games.. He has many games and isn't ready to give this up yet.

That is an absolutely fantastic idea, doing the 12 days of Christmas--and it obviously can be affordable and fun, rather than outrageously expensive. I am sure they loved it. The giftcards/calendar is great as well. I am going to pass these on to friends who are stuck on what things to do. You are very inventive.

I am disappointed. We have experienced a COLD and a BIG SCRATCH one on each of the faces of my boys in the past week--and so I STILL cannot take the picture that I want to have printed and put inside my already finished cards..... I don't know how to do photoshop stuff. I mean I can correct red-eye on digital pics, but that is about it. I can't fix a big scratch.
