I know I saw that. I bought these already this week. Got a $5 gift card, went back in line and used the GC to buy 2 more and get another GC. Went back and bought 2 chargers also on sale, using the 2nd GC. I am giving a charger and batteries to my folks --they are older, don't get out often--and always running out of batteries, rechargeable will definitely help them out.

I agree I have found things this week and last that are the same prices in some of these BF scans. For example, (and I know folks this isn't about a highly sought after laptop but) I got Hershey's Pot of Gold at Walgreens on Sunday, 2 boxes for $6 I bought 10 boxes--I could have easily bought 20, there was NO limit and no line when I was there. These same chocolates are advertised in TWO BF ads @ 2.99 and people will be all huddled around them trying to scarf up the flavor they want on that day... Also I found Christmas cards --exact same style, cheaper now, also a game, cheaper now... And Target "tentative" list includes the Dr. Suess game that my son wants, for 14.99 (it is regularly 19.99 at both Target and TRU) I plan to buy this game, Fri the 14th at the TRU 2 days sale, with the percentage off, it will be only 12.99!! :gdconsoling1:it does seem to be a disappointing year, for the BF ads, thus far...

It was there as $244 and now it is gone. I read in a post somewhere that it was altered...now it is removed so I don't know the price--I've looked around the forums, but haven't found out the answer--yet.

Well it is four days later....still nothing in the US mail from Target. I am convinced it was taken by someone--either at the post office or put in someone elses mail box and they KEPT it. I have gotten one for 3 years in a row--and I always use the coupon. I am not a charge customer either. I cannot see why I wouldn't get one this year. . .

Wow buckaboo, that was RUDE! They ALREADY were invited to your home and given what I am sure was a delicious, adequate meal--what nerve. I am guessing that this person is NOT someone close to you--or else they'd not said it--or they would say it jokingly and it would not bother you. Sounds like a more distant relative. Someone who doesn't really care about your feelings. I can spot the type, I have my own to deal with: I have relatives-in-law and they think they have a RIGHT to grab birthday cake or desert whenever they come over. For example Maggie and Bob will be invited, but she had to work or Bob was sick so Maggie's mom will go and cut her a piece of cake--a GIANT one, mind you, enough to feed 3 adults--put it on a plate and actually cover it with the foil! This has happened at least 5 times. Only one time she actually ASKED. What makes her feel she has the RIGHT to do this? I don't know! Meanwhile, FYI, 1/2 the time Maggie doesn't even send a gift for my kid. From now on I whisk the "extra" cake away as soon as I can--without looking like a maniac, explaining that I don't want my kids sticking their hands (or toys) in it. She has caught on--and once she still snuck a piece to take--I am surprised she didn't bring her own Foil and stuff it in her purse!

I wondered about this too, how much better might it be, etc. Also why are some versions so expensive? Are they really BETTER or just NEWER? It seemed to me watching the prices of them during the last 2 weeks, that they are all being offered on different type of promotions, different days/weeks/BF. So I suppose we cannot necessarily figure that just because one may be closer to 100 bucks that it is any better than a deal for 40 bucks.. I wondered if you could use a guitar across all discs? In other words, I would hope that the guitar that is in my GH 3 bundle I just bought for my son, will work if I decide to buy the Aerosmith disc... I asked this question but I don't think anyone replied...

Back from Target. Nothing. A bunch of Camp Rock stuff--it has been there for weeks. . . No appliances, no good games. (I did not check clothes, my kids don't need any.) No MM juiceboxes (never are) I saw some guy flying out of there with a cart full of stuff, he whooshed by me so fast I don't know what all he had, but I did see a coffeemaker with an OPEN box--it may have been clearance, may not... No good toys either, some stuff I never heard of . UGH

I would mention it to the manager 2-3 DAYS before BF. I'd tell them what happened last year. I'd even describe them to the mgr. as much as possible (so he doesn't think you are some hormonal pregnant lady freaking about shopping...and telling him tales) By describe I mean you'd say "Approx. 20-25 people, mostly men, all under 30" I think that way maybe they'd actually think about it. If you wait until the day before, that place will be crazy busy and they won't have time to make conversation or give it alot of thought.. just MHO. Best of Luck with shopping and the baby

Did anyone see this? I really don't want to accept that I am going crazy, so please tell me I am not and you saw it. My DS wants the original Home Alone and I really didn't want to buy it at all, but if I do, I want it to be less that $5 or 6 dollars. We've seen it 100 times, but he wants the dvd, no commercials, etc.. I can understand, I guess. But I have looked at all the ads over again...and I can't see it.

Thank you both for your replies. It wasn't either of those two places. I have re-checked and checked the ads... I even checked the TRU 2 day sale. I KNOW I didn't dream this....but yet I can't explain why I can't find it... I am sure it was 3.95. There was also another movie pictured, that I thought I could pick up as well in this same ad. It isn't kmart (they have dvds 5.99 on T-Giving...) Perhaps I am skimming to fast and passing it up. I checked Buy.com and it was like 8 something a few minutes ago... I am losing it!

I know I saw in an ad last night, dvd's for 3.95 Home Alone was one of the movies pictured... Anyone recall what ad it was...? Thanks.

Thank you cokemeyer, once again. That gave me a great idea of what I am really getting and from what you said I think it was a good choice. It is a "family gift" to all of us from "santa" so it has to wait until Christmas... My sons love wii, hope they will love this as we all become too inactive in the winter. The Penguin slide, skiing and tilt sound like things they'd definitely enjoy! Sometimes just getting them interested in the beginning is all it takes...

Thanks cokemeyer for that valuable information. I got the wii fit on amazon week and I so want to open and use it--but am not. What are all the games/exercises you can do with it? (I'd love it if you had time to PM me, if not I understand.)

Exactly. I agree with your post below. (My own opinion, not knocking anyone who really wants a docking/charging station.) I actually posted a thread last week about charging WII remotes. I decided to go the rechargeable battery route as well. Target has Duracell batteries and chargers on sale THIS WEEK -in the ad. Just bought them on Sunday. And you get a 5 dollar gift card when you buy 2 items. And the duracell charger thing is waaaay smaller than a docking station sitting somewhere. Just FYI, hope this helps others decide...

That is what I want to know too I can see underneath that it says excludes video game chairs...
