This is exactly how it was in the Carolinas, but it was raining here as well. But I was able to get one and the NES. One lady did not want her hatchimal ticket and gave it to me so I got one for my DD and Nephew.

Sad thing was most people was there to scalp the NES.... There was a huge blow up when one lady found out a few ahead of me was there only to sale it. "It was cold and raining in the early hours of the morning for almost 6 hours and you are going to sale it when my child wants only that for Christmas". She went off. She was a little woman but you could tell if they went back and forth she was going to lay into them.

FINALLY....... GOT TO TRU AT 2:45 THEY HAD 20 AND I WAS 19. PICKED UP 2 HATCHIMALS AS WELL.

Yes, I had several items cancelled but will go to the store to see if they will honor the black friday prices for the same item in store. You situation is crazy ... but I always try to be honest but most of the time when I call they have an attitude like I did something wrong. I would call them up and see how they want to handle the situation and go from there.

Shipped OE yesterday. Finishing up box this weekend - hopefully. It has been really busy and my dd 4 is having her first programs at school and church and it has been a whirlwind but a joy at the same time.

My oldest DD asked for her own house so she could do what she wanted to do - My response was if I bought that house you still will be living in my house and still have to do what I said do, so you may as well stay in this house.

Nothing to crazy, Wreaths and bows on all windows, garland around the door. Net lighting on the bushes, 3.5 lighted tress on both sides of the door, Decorated wreath on the door, Laser lights on the house, and lighted presents -snowman and train set in the yard.

Okay, as promised I am back .... I went everywhere. Mall, walmart, khols, target, best buy, hh greggs, game stop, Cake Resturant ( I know but they have black friday sales ), rooms to go, toys r us, academy sports, kmart, kirklands, etc. Needless to say I over did it, but under spent. I still have money in my wallet and only used my card on a few transactions so I stayed on budget and still killed the day thanks to my Gottadeal family : Walmart - PJ's, Slippers, clothing, Trampoline ( after going to 4 stores ), Philips 55 4k tv, multi DVD, XBOX One games, Picture frames, Comforter sets,board games etc Target - Xbox One Battelfield, Xbox controller, Life Size Elsa Doll, New Bright Truck, Xbox games, DVD Movies, Lifesize Kurplunk, Marvel sets, crock pot, beats Kmart - Clothing, Boardgames, bed sets, Jcpenny - Clothing, cookware, Boots boots and more boots, coats, Finishline and Ladys Footlocker - Shoes Kohls - LG TV, Clothing, BOOTS Game Stop - Xbox Kinect, game set Macys - Clothes and Shoes Home Depot - Tree and poinsettias Cake Restaurant- WELL CAKE - GOOD TOO academy - 2nd Amendment Rooms to go - B1G1 free Giftcards and some other stuff - I did do some shopping online as well for a few items listed above. The crowds was here and there but it seemed to be a lot of people just out and not really shpping. There was a good bit of stuff still there after the crowds and plenty of tvs as well. There was a few places that I did not get to and I am okay with it but will try and get online tonight and try to order a few more things.

Asked about them at several stores and no luck today either

I don't think that it is dead. I think that it is evolving and we are trying to hold onto the good ole days. To me it is the tradition, its saving money and getting that one gift that each person will love. Seeing my kids light up and my bank account not tore up. Its getting into the holiday spirit. Not forgetting the hunt... the hunt will drive you crazy - looking for an item, when you don't find it walking around hoping someone has laid it down. It is the anticipation of the ads - it is so much. The younger people love it like we once did because they're outlook has not broaden, they do not know what it use to be like. So no it has not died it has just changed for us. Now the question is will that change - change you ?

Have not shopped here in years, not starting this year wither from the looks of it, but they do have some cheap fragrance sets for the DD

Nope.... Lucked out again today. Would try the early store thing but I have to be at work before they open. I do havea friend that works at Target but they work the closing shift want be there in the AM.

I wonder if I can buy a pet and pick it up closer to Christmas -- weird but I cant really hide a pet
