Not fully where I want to be but still moving forward. I am just like everyone else. Things come up and demand the money saved, but still have more now than I did this time last year so I will keep pushing on.

Exactly!!!! Between that and the kids looking like there starving and from a 3rd world country - crying there "so hungry" I give in all the time. But I have been doing okay the last few weeks. Making quick meals with leftovers for the next day, sandwiches and the like for lunch. Not what I am accustom to but still good none the less.

Okay.... I have been cutting out buying lunch. Well I cut back to going out only 2 times a week and was putting that money towards Black Friday Christmas and I am already at $200.... I am starting to think I have other problems I should be addressing if I am spending that much on lunch in only 2 months . SMH

Yep, I budgeted for gifts but failed to do so for parties and hostess gifts also. This year I will have to keep that in mind. I have started putting $25 per check aside for Christmas not including other money that would be designated through out the year. I am hoping to have a surplus this year. Wishful thinking but hoping non the least.

Reinholt1smom and Megara211 - THANK YOU BOTH. I really loved everything that you gave. MY DD would not let me put the ornaments on the tree she thinks there HERS and I am to old to play with them and I am a few chapters into my wonderful book and oldest DD's are loving it as well.

Don't give up hope. If I can get my hands on another one I will let you know. I am surrounded by all of the stuff and game stores as well. I'm hoping they will get tired of me calling and just save me one when they come in.

This is exactly how it was in the Carolinas, but it was raining here as well. But I was able to get one and the NES. One lady did not want her hatchimal ticket and gave it to me so I got one for my DD and Nephew.

Sad thing was most people was there to scalp the NES.... There was a huge blow up when one lady found out a few ahead of me was there only to sale it. "It was cold and raining in the early hours of the morning for almost 6 hours and you are going to sale it when my child wants only that for Christmas". She went off. She was a little woman but you could tell if they went back and forth she was going to lay into them.

FINALLY....... GOT TO TRU AT 2:45 THEY HAD 20 AND I WAS 19. PICKED UP 2 HATCHIMALS AS WELL.

Yes, I had several items cancelled but will go to the store to see if they will honor the black friday prices for the same item in store. You situation is crazy ... but I always try to be honest but most of the time when I call they have an attitude like I did something wrong. I would call them up and see how they want to handle the situation and go from there.

Shipped OE yesterday. Finishing up box this weekend - hopefully. It has been really busy and my dd 4 is having her first programs at school and church and it has been a whirlwind but a joy at the same time.

My oldest DD asked for her own house so she could do what she wanted to do - My response was if I bought that house you still will be living in my house and still have to do what I said do, so you may as well stay in this house.
