  1. I know this is discussed in another thread, but the price matching thing is a good tip for newbies. Look at the ads from other stores even if you hadn't planned on going there and then call the one that you are going to first to see if they price match. Take your ads with you!
  2. Laptop or Desktop Computer, portable DVD player, Nintendo DS. I WILL get one of the computers, hoping for a really good deal on the DVD player, and Nintendo DS is something extra if I have the money. These are all for me.
  3. My son will be 20 in February and I am taking him with me this year. He is going to be the person I switch with to get warm in the car while I wait all night outside BB. And then he can go in the store and get the smaller things while I get my computer.
  4. I am dying here! If Walmart still had layaway, I would definitely get this laptop. Right now I am planning to stand all night in line at BB. But, if Walmart has this laptop at a lower price, I might go there instead. WHERE ARE THE ADS!?!?!??!?
  5. lol I like the Mission Impossible one and the nose picking. If I see anybody doing any of these, I think I will have to laugh and ask them if they are gottadealaholics like me.
  6. That sounds cheap. It seems like the ones I have seen are all $129 and up. I want one for myself!
  7. I plan on having mine in advance, but I would pay at least $5 for them if I were already in line and freezing.
  8. Thanks for all the tips. Have fun everyone!!
  9. We have flex spending at work where you pay in so much out of every pay check and then when you have medical expenses that are not paid by insurance you send in the receipts and "draw" money off that account. Well, I just save all my receipts until November and then send them in. A week later I have a check.
  10. I am about half done. I started Christmas shopping with the clearance stuff at Walmart a month or so ago. Can't wait til BF so I can get most of it finished. My main BF purchase will be a computer, but that is for me!!!
  11. Every day, at least 5 times a day!!! Where are all the ads!! It's killin' me!!!
  12. Since I plan to be first in line, I should take orders from people I know that won't go wait in line. I could charge them extra and maybe even have my computer paid for!! Woo Hoo!!!
  13. You will like their music. We usually go to see them in Grand Rapids, MI.
  14. I bought quite a few things from the clearance aisles to start my Christmas shopping. The best deal so far was a remote control Jesse James skull riders motorcycle. Regular price was $50 marked down to $9. Couldn't pass that one up. Should have gotten a few for Toys for Tots too!
  15. I have always went alone on BF. But this year I think I am going to go to BB and if I have to sit outside all night, I am taking my 19 yr old son so we can take turns in the car.
  16. I have done this in years past with my son. Just kills me not to be able to tell him. And then last year I had a painting done for my BF and I so wanted to show it to him. But I do know not to tell him anything that I got for his daughter, because he will tell her. I have a couple of her gifts wrapped already and he was asking me what they were and I am not telling him!
  17. Depending on the ads when they come out. I will be in either Saginaw, MI, Flint, MI, Lapeer, MI or Caro, MI. And depending on which store, I will probably be freezing.
  18. I ususally do this at WM. I buy a few toys and whatnot that are really good deals and then I use the angel tree to donate them. Seems like I usually have to take the items home and wait for the tree to be put up?
  19. OMG! I had one the other night, it was totally freaky. My dreams are always weird anyway, but I was surprised that it was a Black Friday dream. People at work keep rolling their eyes at me cause I can't stop talking about it!
  20. Thanks for the head's up!! The radar gun is on my shopping list.
  21. I have never waited in line for a doorbuster. I usually just go early in the morning and get some of the deals. I miss out on alot that way though. This year I want the desktop at BB, so from what I have been reading on these forums, I think I will need to be there by 8PM to 10PM the night before. I am going to plan to have someone sit with me that can take the chairs, hot cocoa thermos, etc to the car when I go in the store. Is that a good idea? How do you usually handle the gear that you would need to have? I don't think you could take them in the stores.
  22. Did Staples have a computer last year? and how much was it? and how many did they have per store?
  23. Do any of the other stores offer computers for good prices like BB? It seems like I remember Walmart doing it but then only having 5 of them in our local store.
