I mostly buy what I think they will like (and what is on sale) and they have never been disapointed, my ds told me one year that Santa was so smart cause he got me stuff I didn't realize I wanted yet.......

I really like the box idea, then they could usue it to hold some small items that they purchase, thanx!!!!!!!!

I would go, as long as I wasn't on bed rest or in labor.......who knows you could end the day at the hospital in labor (all that walking!) and get your deals and your baby all in one day!! except then you have future b-day parties to worry about..........

edible or crafty does not matter, coupon books don't work well for us we have tried in the past seems like they never get a good opportunity to spend them and they are just a waste

the ornaments sound fun, i really need to find them something simple that they can make for each other and something for thier dad which will be really tough........

I was taking with my kids today and we decited that we want to start a tradition in our family where one of the gifts that you make each family member (only our household) has to be made by you, so........I need some ideas for some easy homemade gifts that kids can do, I have been making and giving homemade gifts for years but this is the first year that I have gotten the kids involved and need some project that they can handle (they are 6 and 9).

i usually put mine in the linen closet under sheets, blankets and towls. unless forced they don't go there and so i just remember not to "force" them until january :)

I have to biggest house therefore by default I get to cook, have done so ever since we moved into this house!!!!!!!! anyhow usually there are about 10-15 from both sides (mine and DH) after dinner (acutally lunch) me and my mom lock ourselves in the bedroom with our ads and plan our attack, and usually one of our relatives takes our kids home with them so we can go out on BF.........

I have been looking at these too, I am torn between this and the handheld one (that you can put spelling words and such in), curious to see if either goes on sale BF

I have tons since I am a Aldi shopper I have to remember mine, not sure about using them on BF though, I would think that it would be a hassle, plus what about the stores thinking you are trying to shoplift????

do they run a credit check??? or just use your past record of purcahsing with them??

I will be in western KY, the ads will determine if it will be Paducah, Hopkinsville, or my own little town of Princeton, but will probally shop all three before the day is out

what is sad about this is the people that are actually stealing usually get away with it and the rest of us pay for it, one year i was in line at customer service in walmart to return something and a customer in front of my returned a game system (at least the empty box stuffed with junk for weight) they never questioned them or opened the box just gave a refund, but if that was me I would have been interrogated..........

oh ok, there is no way I am going to get into line more than a hour before opening (never do) just curious on how that works

I went BTS shopping at Place the end of last month, they had an extra 50% off clearance......it was warmer weather stuff, but I bought tees (my kids wear these year round) and acessories got a whole bag of stuff for around $50.00

Dollar General has started thier end of season 90% off, today I got some great deals: Queen Sized Comforter with attached dust ruffle org $25.00, for $2.50 Hovering Soccer Ball org $5.00, for $.50 PC Games org $6.00, for $.60 At 50% 2 Spa brand soy candles org $2.00, for $1.00 They had tons of stuff for 50%-90% off so it should be worth checking out, Happy Shopping!

I had a similar thing happen to me at walmart, I had Iams coupons for $6.00 off a bag any size, so I found some smaller bags that where $3.00 so I could get them for free, the only gave me the $3.00 off which I was ok with, would have liked to have made $3.00 a bag, but free pet food was good enough for me. On the other hand Kroger always gives me face value of the coupons, last month they "paid" me to buy peanutbutter, just depends.

I liked the CVS turkey day sale last year it was nice, we just went for cokes, but there was other stuff worth getting too.

My name is Amber and I am from western KY. I have been married for almost five years and have two children (none together) a daughter Zoie 6 and a stepson Michael 9 (we have custody). My husband and I own a small trucking company and I do pretty much everything for the business except drive and preform maintenence on the trucks I am a animal lover and we currently have 2 dogs, 6 cats and a rabbit, I am constantly giving and finding homes for unwanted animals. BF is a tradition for me and my mom that my dh has recently been sucked on two (for the past couple of years he has been a line place holder and hot item fighter), we go every year and plan a huge strategy of what we are going to get, my dh calls it a military operation.

You have to really watch Kmart on clearance (at least around here), but I have never not have them give it to me for the correct price, I was told by an employee that they can tell if it is old or new merchandise by the number that the barcode starts with and if it is old they will give it to you for the clearance price regardless of what it rings up. I would have escorted the manager back there and made them watch me scan it...........
