I wish our manager was that nice, at 4:30 last year she was screaming to put everything back cause the sale hadn't started yet and that we were all ingratefull and next year she would make us stand outside in the cold. (last year was the first year they let us in early even though it is a 24 hour store)

I think that it has been a bad year for most of the country economically and if you are like me I was getting even more excited this year at the prospect of BF deals, and now all of this is just depressing, the ads aren't that great and then all of the trouble on top of it.

i understand them not wanting the competition to see the ad, but once the ad is out it is out, the damage has been done, so what is the point of taking it down? it just creates negative image for them.

what no fabric????????we are getting a new one here to be built next year and the old one is the only place in town to buy craft supplies surely they won't get rid of that section???

Alot of the things on this ad you can buy on thier website right now for the same price, like the candy machine and such......maybe will got there last if not totally worn out.

I just checked out thier website and they have some really neat items in thier "stocking stuffers" catagory, does anyone remember these items being on sale BF last year (things like panty ornaments and trial sized gift sets)?

Our store only had like five I dogs last year for $10, I got one only cause I grapped it before the sale officially started, our walmart started opening the bundles at about 4:30 and I had my cart full by 5am, then they where trying to tell every one to put the stuff back until 5am it was crazy.

It does but it uses ingredients that you cannot get at aldi sometimes.

I have had Kmart workers approach me before and hand me like %20 off coupons if they assisted me, but never anything with just a number, seems like they are trying to track floor associate productivity............

I think that Wal-mart thought that by holding back their BF ad they would generate more interest for their eariler sales, but if everyone is like me they are going to be disapointed, I would rater wait it out and make sure I get the best deal.

The menus and shopping lists are at momadvice dot com under the food section, there are two menus using nothing but goceries from aldi, they both have recipies and shopping lists, I have used the fall menus and just went shopping today for the other menu, I got out of there on the fall menu for $100 (that is adding stuff for my kids lunches too) for a family of four, and today I spent $140 but I also picked up a tukey and a ham for thanksgiving, well worth a look if you ask me.

i buy all of my groceries there, i found a website to offers month long menus and shopping lists just for aldi and the recipies are really good and easy.

yeah it is my fav for groceries too, I was excited to see all the toys they are going to have.......

Aldi is going to have a large toy section this year and each week they will have new toys as "special purchase" items, the week of Nov 4 they have TMX Cookie Monster for 24.99, plus other name brand toys and new items each week. As I am new it will not let me post the link, but you can check out aldi dot com under special purchases and view the ads for each week.

If I remember correctly our dollar general had a sale the day before Thanksgiving the past couple years, something like 20%-50% off all toys, does anyone remember this and/or have info about it this year. Our stores have several nice name brand toys that I am watching! :)

I know someone already asked but I was wondering about online priceing too........I am after the PS2 for my 8 year old (don't want to pay alot) and online it is the price without the rebate, plus they are offering another $10 off your order if you pay with paypal and use the code paypal10 (not sure how long that lasts) so essentially I could get it for 89.99 if they will give me the rebate if I order on BF. Anyone know????
