For me Walmart is ALWAYS first then its just pit stops at Best Buy, Staples, etc. (It depends whats on sale and what I want)

I LOVE going to K-mart on turkey day! I usually wake up really early to cook and/or help cook. While I'm doing that I'm also online getting stuff from Circuit City, then I head off to K-mart for some pillows (lol). It's a tradition for me and it kicks off the shopping for BF!

Well I've been periodically checking to see if this board was up since July So you can imagine how antsy I'm getting now

I would say the third or fourth week in September, but I'm hoping for tomorrow

Hi guys! I don't know if anybody knows this but right now FYE is having a buy one get one free sale on blu-ray discs PLUS A $10 MAIL IN REBATE!!!!!! This does not help me any since I just bought a hd-dvd player, but I still thought you guys and gals should know. Moderators feel free to delete if this is a duplicate.

Well, I got mine on F&F night for $189, so it was the best deal I have seen for a dvd camcorder, even on BF.

I would have to say that I'm really glad I'm done with my X-mas shopping, because otherwise I would have been really disappointed. Hopefully their "secret sale" matches the standards of the previous one.

This year I will try to boycott both Target and Walmart, but if I can't buy the lcd I want then unfortunately I will have to go to Walmart since I am on a budget as well.

Well since my Christmas shopping is done, thanks to JcPenneys, and since the rest I can get online on Turkey day, my 1st stop is F.Y.E. for the B1G1 Free Tv Box Sets.

My question is if the LCD TV/DVD combo plays hd-dvds. Does anybody know? All it says is that hd is displayed when connected to a hd source.

This ad would be great if there was an OfficeMax nearby.

Well for the past 2 years me and my mom team up on BF. She watches the cart(s) while I find all of the things we both wanted. Since I know that she's not an aggressive shopper I put her in a non-populated area , and everything works out great.

I haven't been to FYE in years, looks like I will be there on BF.

I always go to Kmart on Thanksgiving morning just because of tradition. I normally buy pillows and bed linens, but last year I got two bed in a bags for $10/ea. So for me that was a buy of the century.

Well guys/gals, take a look to what I emailed them: In reference to the threat made against GottaDeal.com, from a customer's view I am offended that a #1 retailer has nothing better to do than to anger their consumer. I would have thought that this company would work to make their Black Friday ad better this year, than the disasterious past years. From what you don't understand is that by seeing an ad early it makes people plan to go to your store for the cabbage patch doll versus going to Best Buy instead because of the $200 computer. Personally if I don't see any vast improvements I may have to camp out at Best Buy instead of you guys. In closing, please do not tick off your consumers anymore by robbing them of their knowledge and/or deals, because if we don't get it from you then we very well will get it from somebody else. Oh, and I almost forgot, BRING BACK LAYAWAY, there are to many broke and/or poor people in the world that need it.

Well the 24hr non-super Walmart closes for Xmas, but I went to the SuperWalmart last year and it was great! We got in, stood in line a few minutes, got our stuff (including price matched stuff) and got out. Will definitely do it that way again!

I had the same problem for BF 05. I was in line for 5 hours when at 5 o'clock they opened the doors to the walk-ins 1st. So everybody made a run for it and I was soooo mad when I didnt get the vcr/dvd combo that I, as well as everyone else who waited, started screaming at the manager. I also wrote a letter to Corporate, and I have'nt been to that one since. Last year I went to the supercenter which was a lot better.

Well, the one I have is running kind of slow but I have a lot of stuff on it, like all of my cds (over 100). I really dont want to camp out for an Emachine or another low class computer. Hopefully Walmart will have a dell on blitz.
