  1. Thanks!
  2. Thanks Brad! This is my FAVORITE ad thus far. I would LOVE to have that projector and that CHI straightener!
  3. Okay guys, call me a geek, but I almost wet my pants when I saw that netbook Even though it is only 7" I know Wally World will definitely beat it.
  4. Okay, I am officially skipping Sears this year. I was hoping for cheap Wii games, cheap netbook, etc. The only thing that caught my eye is the $9.99 jeans and I can pass on those. Oh well, there is always next year.
  5. Thank You! I love these coupons, but I wish it came as a 3 disc package since I like having a digital copy.
  6. I'm not to far from you. I plan to shop in Pinellas county which is in the Tampa Bay area.
  7. Oops, I didn't see this thread before making my own. Well here is the list of what I bought: Fur Real Tumble pup for $17 Leap Frog Shapes and Melodies Piano for $7 Little Einstein Golden Pyramid Mission Playset for $4 Mega Blocks Piano for $8.50 Handy Manny Plush Doll $2.50 (2) Nascar Dale Earnhardt Jr Remote Control Cars $10.50 Fisher Price Speedway Track with 2 car $22 My mom got: (2) Iron Man foot tall action figure that lights up $9.50 Assorted Batman toys (car that shoots, wind up motorcycle, etc) $4
  8. One of my favorite Black Friday experiences is last year when Walmart had blu-ray players for $128. It was a FRENZY! I was like the 5th or 6th person behind the stack and in like 20 seconds about 50 players were almost gone! Luckily one of the first people in line asked me if I needed one so being a very good citizen he passed one back to me. Whoever he was I send him a million THANKS!!!
  9. I am sooo happy I didn't get this but at the time I was really mad that I didn't get it.
  10. Well, I do miss Circuit City but we still have Compusa here and they added a HHgregg store so I'm pretty sure that competition still remains, at least in the Tampa Bay area, for Best Buy especially since they are down the street from one another.
  11. I thought I was crazy for thinking about Black Friday in July, LOL! It's nice to know that I'm not the only one! HAPPY BLACK FRIDAY!!!
  12. Great X-mas gifts! Ordered 2 plus some sunglasses. Thanks!
  13. The Supercenter I went to was nuts!!! The blu-ray players were gone in 60 sec, luckily I got one I went to my local one though and they had tons of dvds, printers, and Garmins, but the rest of the big tickets were long gone.
  14. I'm a avid Walmart BF shopper and I learned years ago to NOT go to the stores that open their doors at 5 am because this type of thing has happened where people fall and get trampled. I personally go to the Supercenter where you can wait inside and some of the other stores have started this in my area as well because of safety. I kept saying for years that Walmart needs a better system than the "blitz" system or someone is going to get hurt. For those of you saying "why didn't someone help him?" it's because you have to worry about your own safety too. I've been in that situation where someone fell ten feet in front of me and because of all the pushing and shoving behind me I had to jump over her. I wanted to help her but if I did I would have been down there with her, but luckily she got up in a jiffy and wasn't hurt. I think Walmart should be responsible for this man's death because you cannot blame the people in the front of the line since they were probably pushed and shoved from the back of the line. Walmart needs to create a secure environment for it's employees and customers.

  16. I've been really excited about this ad for over two days, so I am very glad Walmart came to their senses!!! I am really eyeing that HP desktop. Does anyone if that's a good deal?
  17. There is a $10 "easy" rebate which is usually a lot easier than the standard rebate and it takes less time to receive it, 2-3 weeks I think.
  18. Wal-mart is insane if they are sticking behind the idea of credit cards over layaway. I have had their CC for not even a year and they cut my credit limit from $250 to $100!!!! Seeing that $100 is chump change nowadays, I took that card and threw it in my drawer! In my opinion if they are hell bent on not returning layaway then at least give people descent credit limits!!!! Btw, this credit reduction has happened to a lot of people, maybe as a result of the economy!?!
  19. None of my stores are closing! Thank goodness because our area cannot take another closed store.
  20. Those front loaders are an AWESOME deal, if only my mom hadn't bought hers last year, oh well. There's always my future house though
  21. Well money is definitely tight this year since I haven't worked since the beginning of May due to my illness. It's so tight I think I might have to skip Christmas this year if I don't get cash pretty soon.
  22. I used to try to have a budget of $500, but by 6 a.m. that budget is thrown out the window I usually have to bring out my debit card. I would suggest to not bring cash since your going to be bumping into a lot of people, but if you must put it where the sun doesn't sunshine such as your bra, bottom of your feet in your shoe, etc. WELCOME TO THE COMMUNITY!!!
  23. Well I for one do not care if people sell their tickets. If they are willing to stay outside for 12-24 hours for these items then who's to argue? It's their time they are missing from their families, missing the turkey, cranberry sauce and stuffing. Furthermore, I don't understand how they could arrest somebody for ticket scalping since a ticket has no value. The store GIVES these tickets away. So if somebody gave you a present you didn't want, is it illegal to sell it? CRAZY
  24. This will be my 5th BF. Before my mom would ditch me to go with her friends since she didn't want me to see what "Santa" was up to. Now that I'm older she comes with me and we have a blast.
  25. I think that I should get the shirt since I have been a loyal Black Friday shopper even with my disabling disease for the past 4 years. Plus I look great in black
