I don't know mine, don't even know if it's the same person every day. I've gotten wet mail, someone else's mail and he/she won't knock on the door to deliver a certified letter/package or whatever else might need to be signed for. I can't get to the PO during the week so have to get there before 12 on sat. to get it. Very annoying. That is just too darn funny!!

I don't know how you guys remember all this stuff! Hit that I remember is my dd12 computer I got off ebay. ds17 star wars psp, and ds14 mini fridge. They liked their clothes and I don't remember what else I got them!! lol

Budget? What budget? Honestly, I don't set a certain amount. I have a plan on what I want to get and set about getting it at the best price possible and try to make the gifts as even as possible with my 3 kids. If I accomplish all that, I'm good. :)

You're probably not going to do better on the DS itself. There will most likely be bundles, it just depends on if it's bundled with a game you want. You wouldn't get the Wii for any cheaper, it doesn't go on sale, just gets bundled. They have sales on games all the time, just keep an eye out. Been there a couple of times, great theme park! Very clean and you get free drinks and sunscreen all day! Although it's a little freaky driving through the town and seeing all the xmas stuff in June and July!

You're not being ugly. Unfortunatley, there will always be those that look to take advantage. They are not supposed to register for more than one organization. I do the angel tree every year and my kids like to help shop for the angel. I get a child and 2 years ago started getting an elderly angel in honor of my grandma who had passed away. With the child, I look for the ones not taking advantage. The one who's asking for a coat and some sheets or clothes and a barbie. The ones asking for a Wii or PS3 turn me off. It's not scroogy to want to give to the ones who truly need help instead of the ones looking to see how much they can get.

I agree with MysticMage, they did it to themselves. Their customer service is terrible, the employees don't know anything and god forbid if you have to get something fixed under warranty. You will fight with them for months. It's the same thing that happened to Kmart, they forgot where their bread gets buttered.

I didn't realize there was a BB in Antioch. I agree with PP, stay away from that area, definitely not safe. It's a shame really, there is a mall and lots of good bf stores in the area, but the crime has gone up so dramatically that most avoid it. There is a BB in Cool Springs, but I don't know how crowded it gets.

Glad it's not just me. It's taking forever to get anything. They better get it fixed before BF or they are going to lose a lot of sales.

They moved all our high school football games to Thursday so there wouldn't be a conflict

First, the tiny kids should be with parents, then they wouldn't be picked on. Second, if someone is handing out candy, it's hard to steal. Third, if some teens, or even adults, are intent on walking around and causing trouble, they will do it regardless if they are trick or treating or if its Halloween. I lived in quite a few different neighborhoods in different states and have never seen a situation where teens are causing such a disruption that they enact laws about Halloween. Yes, I've seen a house or two that got TP'd, I don't think it's the end of the world. And I was referring to the 13 yo who doesn't have a younger sibling, like my dd. Are you going to turn her away all dressed up in her dragon fairy costume (that she was very exited to get), because she's 13? I personally wouldn't have the heart to turn any child away. It's just candy!

I can't believe all the cities/towns who are so concerned about regulating Halloween! Are there no other concerns in those areas? Are they really so worried that a 13 yo might get some candy?? I can understand the time thing, people don't want kids coming at all hours, but the age thing baffles me. How exactly do they enforce this? Do the kids have to carry their birth certificates with them? My son has a bf who has always looked much older then he is (he's now 15 and looks early 20's, has full beard, over 6' tall). I'm not sure what my kids are doing this year, they are all teenagers, but they went trick or treating last year and had a good time. We always get together with my brother and his kids and take the kids around my brother's neighborhood. I just can't imagine refusing a kid some candy because they are 12 or 13.
