Hope everyone has a great month; March came in like a lamb here!

It is hit or miss. I ordered some Valentine stickers last week; I wanted them before Sunday. I selected something that was hopefully going to arrive Saturday. Checked the order, nope, not coming until Monday. I cancelled the order. Found something that would arrive Friday; an option that I had not seen the previous day when I placed the first order. So the second order did come in 2 days. Hope you don't need that stuff too soon Len.

The nice weather we've been having here in the middle of the country is nice, though I would like one good snow. Amazon Prime is creepily fast sometimes. I hate how much I enjoy it. But I did try to look at other shopping options this Christmas, with some success. Our prime just renewed.

Happy February all! No school here tomorrow due to expected snow (my oldest is a senior in HS so I still enjoy a good snow day with her home). I will be working from home tomorrow; thankfully have no appointments outside the house (which I probably would have rescheduled).

When is the snow supposed to hit in the east? Hope everyone stays safe and warm!

Happy December all! I am happy to say that my daughter and I put our tree up already, on Sunday, November 28! That is the earliest it has been up in quite a few years.

March seems to be flying by. Maybe it is the warmer weather.

Good evening all! In the past I have looked back at a year glad to see it go, and then discovered that it wasn't such a bad year after all, relatively speaking. And this was before 2020 came around. So focusing on the good that came from 2020, and taking the new year one day at a time!

I had not planned on shopping yesterday, but my daughter wanted to go to a thrift store. So while out we hit a few stores. Seemed like normal pre-Christmas levels of activity; I was expecting stores to be emptier since this was 6pm in the evening. Best Buy still had a line outside the store and wrapping around the corner at this time of day, which surprised me. I was disappointed at people's willingness/ability to social distance while in the check out line at Ross Dress for Less.

I had my absentee ballot sent to me; I dropped it off in the box at the courthouse on Sunday. Easy peasy! I had no desire to stand around at the polling place this year.

I will need to watch Target; I hope they do well. Much prefer them over Target. My kids lost their local Target so I hope the same thing doesn't happen to mine.
