dd50 replied to Brad's topic in Offline Hot Deals
I got the Zune AC Adapter for $3.74 this morning. Was going over there as they were marking things down as I saw it yesterday but I was with my daughter and it was $7.48. Glad I waited. -
Yes, last year they did. I didn't know it and just happened to go.

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2009
dd50 replied to Brad's topic in Offline Hot Deals
I worked in Target a few years ago for a little while and we were not allowed to hold clearance or purchase any thing unless on lunch or break. If it was clearance we also had to pay for it. Other things you could ask CS to hold until you got off shift but at times some people screwed up and put back on the floor. -
Do you keep track of how much $$ you spend on Christmas?
dd50 replied to angied64084's topic in 2009
I have been the last few years but sometimes I don't update my list for a week or two and notice that one kid is over the budget and the other kid is way under and on it goes with the other. I try to keep the money the same that I spend on my kids but not the amount of gifts. -
I probably spend about $20 to $25. I try to find things on sale. My one daughter I buy her makeup. One likes pens and different school type stuff. The other likes CD's and books. I shop for them early so I can find good things on sale. I usually end up with more than will fit in stockings tho.

I have been collecting nutcrackers for the last 8 years or so and started out buying one each year. The last few years I see some that I really need. Now I have about 50. It gets challenging displaying all of them so the look nice. Also have snowmen and santa's.

I love Kohl's and get there when they open. The line is really long but does move fast. The part I don't like is that they don't have enough carts so my arms end up hurting all day from holding the stuff so long. Don't like many store credit cards but do love my Kohl's and use if often.

LG Washer and Dryer (front load)
dd50 replied to angelraesmom's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I purchased LG washer and dryer in Jan or Feb of this year. I checked the reviews on HD, Lowes, Best Buy and Sears. At that time they were having the one I wanted on sale at Best Buy so I went to HD and got it because they gave another 10% off. Did purchase the extended warranty which I don't normally do. HD the warranty is $99 but in Sears it is more. -

I went to my Target about 11:00 today and there really wasn't much of anything Easter. I bought 3 bags of candy and that was about all the variety they had left. -
I went to Lowes yesterday and they had the annuals for $.33 also. Mine had a much bigger selection then HD. HD's were all dry and mostly dead. YMMV

Active and Retired Military!!!!!! Disney 5 Day Park Hopper $99!!!!!!
dd50 replied to masilke's topic in Offline Hot Deals
Then I read this from the second click in the first post.... "Disney's Armed Forces Salute" tickets can be obtained only at participating U.S. military base ticket offices (including at the Shades of Green Resort at the Walt Disney World® Resort), or at main entrance theme park ticket windows. Tickets are not valid until activated at the main entrance theme park ticket windows. Valid military identification (including, for activated members of the National Guard or Reservists, orders showing active status after January 1, 2008) will be required to be presented by the service member (or spouse) for all ticket transactions (including to activate tickets at the main entrance theme park ticket windows). See your military base ticket office or click here for details. All parties must be present when purchasing or activating tickets at main entrance theme park ticket windows Now I wonder if the service person has to be there. -

From what I read in the first post, first click, it states that military member or spouse can buy and activate tickets. Some of the military is deployed but their spouses can use it at $99. -

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2008

I got my first MM today. Almost forgot to go look and there it was right in front. Checked through the rest but only that one. -
When my DD was 10 I had quit my job a few months before and couldn't find a job because I made to much money on the old one. I was a single mother. When Christmas rolled around I evened up going to a $2 - 3 store. It was before the dollar stores. I had green stamps that I had never used and got her some things there. I was so nervous because all the other years she got more than she needed. She didn't even say anything. I think most kids are grateful for what they get and we think it should always be more.

My daughter does that now and I would think a massage certificate would be a fabulous gift because it isn't something that you would usually get yourself.

Received mine today.

They were wrong. They didn't feel like looking up the SKU#. -
Beautiful tree. I have a revolving stand but doesn't seem to work with my new prelit. Every time I go to plug it in the lights go out. DOn't want to short it so I gave up for this year. I will probably put it on the other tree next year.

Butterfly Chair was $59.00 now $14.99 at JCPenney
dd50 replied to SaraB77's topic in Online Hot Deals
I bought that last year for the same price. Nice chair and it is still in good condition even though it went to the kid that breaks everything.
