  1. Ourhappyfamily- Are the Dollar Tree ones the booster cards or do they actually have the figures with them?
  2. Just to let everyone know, this is a YMMV. Technically, the store should not have accepted both the Peel off "peelie" coupon for $10 and the Trio $5 MF coupon as they are both Manufactorers coupons. The cheapest you should be able to get this is... Price: $74.99 PM KM: $29.99 Target Q: $10 Peel Off Q: $10 ______________ $9.99 plus any taxes your state may have.
  3. Out of the 6 total that I got, I have a red dragon, a black dragon, a gold girl warrior, a blue girl warrior, a gold scorpion looking thing, and a black scorpion, I think. So, 2 of each, but different colors, so I'll give my 2 older boys 1 of each style in a different color. Works well for us... they won't be arguing over who got which one!
  4. And just a reminder, you can only use the TRIOSAVE code one time per Amazon account, so if you took advantage of the code with the 2 different Trio Lightning Deals, then you cannot use it on the castle, so your price would be the $34.09. There are posts in the Offline Deals about how to get this castle for $9.99-$19.99 at Target (assuming you have a KMart nearby to price match) and between $19.99-$29.99 at Kmart if you are interested!
  5. Jingle All The Way vs The Grinch Miracle on 34th Street- 1947 version with Maureen O'Hara vs Polar Express The Santa Clause vs Fred Claus Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas vs White Christmas Santa Claus- The Movie vs I'll Be Home For Christmas Santa Clause 2 vs Christmas Vacation Santa Buddies vs It's a Wonderful Life Elf vs Gremlins
  6. To add a couple that haven't already been posted by others... Please note that the price of Fisher Price TRIO King's Gatehouse has decreased from $19.99 to $17.49 since you placed it in your Shopping Cart. Items in your cart will always reflect the most recent price displayed on their product detail pages. Please note that the price of Oh The "Wondrous" Places You'll Go! Travel CardGame has decreased from $5.00 to $4.99 since you placed it in your Shopping Cart. Items in your cart will always reflect the most recent price displayed on their product detail pages.
  7. From what I heard, Cepia has requested all their testing information because their own tests did not show this. I, personally, would not jump the gun and return your Zhu Zhu pets... I would wait and see what comes of this in the coming weeks. There will be people on all sides jumping on this to see what the issue is, if anything. And for what its worth, I don't have any Zhu Zhu pets and I'm not looking for them either (2 boys with no interest in them), so I'm not defending Cepia or anything because I don't want to admit there may be a problem. I just think that if this is as serious as it is being made out to be, then either Cepia or the government will be doing something about it pretty quickly. I think that some of these "watch dog" groups can be a little overzealous sometimes and push things on people. Like when visiting California, there are these signs on EVERYTHING that say something like "WARNING: This product contains materials that are known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects." It was even posted on a toilet in a rest area. Weird, random things that for some reason are harmful in California, but no where else, apparently.
  8. My store didn't have any of the $10 off peelies, but this is what I did... Trio Castle $29.99 Trio Hammerpult $14.99 Trio Basic Set $4.99 (Makes an airplane, I think) __________________________ $49.97 - $5 internet coupon - $5 internet coupon - $5 Kmart calender $5/$30 toy purchase coupon _________________________ $34.97 paid for all three! I bought the $4.99 set because my KM said I couldn't have more coupons than items, but I don't think it should have mattered... oh, well! I'm really happy with the deal I got! And just to throw this out there for anyone near a Fred Meyer (a Northwest Kroger-owned store), they have Trio on sale there. The good deals I saw there were the Wizard's castle for $24.99 (I probably would have bought it if I had another coupon) and the police station for $9.99. Plus they have a 10% off toys coupon in the ad, so I got the police station for $8.99.
  9. We get our real tree either on Black Friday or the following day every year and don't have any problems with it making it to Christmas. We put this powder stuff in the water than is supposed to extend the life of the tree (found at WM last year... don't know what its called, its bag was torn so its now in a Ziplock baggie) and it seems to maybe help some. Our tree seems as "fresh" today as it did the day we got it! But we actually cut down our own tree, so that might make a difference... I know that there is a HUGE tree farm about 45 minutes from us that supposedly ships something like 25,000 Christmas trees to the east coast every year. I would guess that people buying those trees on the east coast won't have them last as long because they are cut down so much earlier, no water while transporting cross country, etc.
  10. I don't have any idea about all the battery stuff... I just yell for DH when something isn't working and he replaces batteries and what not. I think the Wii is plugged in, the nunchuck needs no batteries (runs of Wiimote batteries???) and the Wiimotes run on AA batteries. We have some charging station that came with rechargeable battery packs, but to be honest, I don't even know where it is right now. The charging station was definately plugged in though because I remember tripping over the cord once. I do want to recommend, however, that you get at least one more Wiimote and nunchuck, so 2 people can play together. We bought WiiPlay, which is about $50 and includes a game and a Wiimote. The game has a few fun arcade like games... one you shoot clay discs, balloons, ducks, etc. and its fun! The games on WiiPlay help you become more familiar with the Wii controls. HTH and hopefully someone who knows more than me will post something for you!
  11. I WISH I had a Target and a TRU!!! I live in the middle of nowhere and have to drive 20 minutes to get to a Walmart and Kmart... to get to Target or TRU, I'd have to drive about 75 miles, one way. For the peelies, is it one peelie per transaction, or can you use multiples in one transaction? I'm assuming, if I find them, I'll need to break up my transactions to use multiples...?
  12. Thanks, ladies! I REALLY hope I can find some peelies! Then I might be able to afford to get all the little sets that go along with the castle. I'm going to have to wait for DH to come home from work and go into town myself... if I start throwing coupons, etc. into the mix, I'll probably just confuse him and he'll show up home with something completely off the wall! :) ETA: Oh, and I forgot to say thank you to shoppinmama for the coupon link! I tried to print it earlier but kept getting error messages and offer not available messages, but I was able to print 2 $5 off coupons with your link!
  13. That's great! I'm sending my DH to KM to pick one of these up... hopefully there will be a $10 off coupon there! Question: Is it a manufacterers coupon for Trio, or is it a Kmart $10 off any $24.99 purchase, or a KM $10 off $24.99 Trio coupon?
  14. Hmm... I wonder if they would? Something tells me if it were WM or TRU, they would have already matched the price, but I'm not sure if they even have KM on their radar.
  15. Thanks for the warning, Christi! While I was going back and forth debating ordering it, it sold out online, so I guess my decision was made for me! And it sounds like it might have been the right decision anyway.
  16. Thanks so much for posting this!!! I've been watching this on Amazon, but it doesn't seem to want to go below $49.99. I'm going to have DH swing by Kmart on his way home from work tonight to pick this up... or at least pick the ad up to price match at WM (my KM NEVER has anything in their ad in stock... I've gone at opening the first day of the ad and they say, "Oh, we never got that in."). Unfortunately, I can't price match at Target... the nearest one is 75 miles away! My boys are getting some King Arthur and knight playsets this year, but I haven't gotten them a castle yet... and this is the one I wanted! They're going to be so excited!
  17. I definately agree! Everytime I have ordered from another site (with the exception of Gymboree- ordered Thanksgiving, received following Monday!), I've been really disapointed with their whole shipping process. (Taking forever to ship product, not informing me when it has been shipped, using a SLOW method for shipping it...) Amazon, however, usually ships within a couple of hours of my ordering, and I frequently receive items the next day with my Prime 2-day shipping. They usually have the same price, or lower, than I can find anywhere else, so Amazon is getting 95% of my business this year. Right now I'm having to consider going through Kmart.com on something that they have for $29.99 and Amazon has for $49.99 (WM sold out at $59.99) and I'm not very happy about it! I don't want to deal with KMart... I wish Amazon would match their price!
  18. Angleyez- Yep. And I originally did think that it could only be used 1 time per customer, I just wanted to know for sure. Their wording "one coupon per customer" is vague... it should say "promo code can only be used 1 time per customer"... their wording makes you wonder if they are saying you cannot combine this promo code with, say, the save $20 WYB $100 FP code. Oh, well, I guess it wasn't meant to be for me this time! :)
  19. Has anyone who has used the code before gotten it to work again? I have 2 qualifying items in my cart totalling $36 (even taking into consideration the lighning price), and it won't work for me.
  20. Hmmm... I wonder if, after people getting the last set so cheap, they changed the rules for the promo code so that it cannot be combined with other offers...?
  21. The promotion code can only be used 1 time per customer, so if you used it the other day on the other set, you can't use it again ... mine won't work either.
  22. That's what I was thinking! Isn't that like 600 cookies?!? No wonder you're worn out!!!
  23. Hmm... I wonder if mine and Juanadeal's stores are the "rule" or the "exception" as far as previous years go. I know that last year, there were 4 WMs that I went to within a week or so after BF that had BF prices or had marked down the items further. One that is 20 minutes from my house, one that is 45 minutes, and 2 that are about 75 minutes away, so they aren't under the same management or anything. Like most things with WM, I'm sure its a YMMV. Most of the stuff that I would be interested in sold out early BF anyway... like the $2 DVDs. I only found 2 and I was there at 5:15am.
  24. jboyko- I would be demanding to speak with the store manager about this! They need to know that you were called, told it was there waiting for you, then told that other employees had them stashed for themselves, THEN told to drive an hour away to pick it up for yourself! If the manager does not resolve this satisfactorily, then you need to ask the manager for the number to THEIR boss. I would be irrate if I went to pick up something I had ordered then was told that employees had stashed my item for themselves!
  25. Aww; That's so sweet! I know your aunt will love it! Prayers for her quick and full recovery.
