I called Holyoke Kmart yesterday and asked if they would be open on Thanksgiving, they said no.
-
It was in the Union News Extra that is normally delivered on Wednesday. My friend has a route. Yesterday had the Kmart fliers, Modell's, Big Y, Stop & Shop and Rite Aid. Today he picked up the Union News Extras that are normally delivered on Friday and Saturday. I haven't seen them yet but he said they were thicker than normal. We will be delivering all of them later today when he gets out of work. After I get one of the papers I will post which fliers were in it.

I live in Massachusetts and our Kmart is not open on Thanksgiving. I just got the fliers and the one for T-day is for Wednesday in our area from 8 a.m.-10 p.m. So I can shop tomorrow instead on Thursday for those deals. If there is any one else in the Springfield, MA area this is in that area.

Big Lots had been posted but Brad had to remove it

With Virgin Mobile they have plans that you pick from but you still use pre-paid minutes. The one I used to use was $6.99/mo with minutes being $.10 each and you can ad up to 5 free minutes a day by watching ads that are less than a minute and answering a few questions (called Sugar Mama) You can get more information from their website if you are interested. Good luck in your search. P.S. I did not like Trac-Fone when I had that, it was too expensive if he will make a lot of calls

go to batteries.com and order ahead so you don't forget, they have some good deals as seen here on gd.

I just ordered this deal and also the D and C adapters. The D adapter is $.83 and the C is $.55. My shipping to MA was $6.25 though but I also used the INSRT code and got 10% off whole order total with tax is $14.63. Thanks for the 10% off code above.:) -
Maybe a printer that can be used without a pc so she can print her own pictures from her camera or card. Extra sd cards for digital camera. GC to stores she likes or movie GC. Cash is always a good thing for preteens

The day after Thanksgiving, the tree goes up since I was a kid. On Christmas Eve, we go to mass at 4:00 then after mass, we all go to Mom & Dad's. The kids read the Christmas story from the Bible or a children's book with the story that is easier for them to read and then they read Twas the Night Before Christmas. They take turns depending on who knows how to read and who wants to do it. Then we sing Happy Birthday to Jesus. Mom sometimes makes a cake or cupcakes, we have sandwiches and then open up gifts from each other, because we don't always get together on Christmas Day now that we all have our own families. The other thing the kids take turns with is putting baby Jesus in the manger after we sing Happy Birthday. My brother, sister and myself took turns doing this when we were growing up and now our kids do it.

Perimeter Perusing at Target (Target Clearance Deals) - 2007
tjredsox4 replied to 1angelnhvn's topic in Offline Hot Deals
It might also be something that the troops could use if sent to them along with all the other things that get collected and sent. -
I buy totes and put them in my room since I don't have a closet in there. I use them as end tables until after Christmas. My ds is too young to snoop but dd is 11 and knows the truth and was told if she snoops she gets nothing so she leaves everything alone, I also keep a notebook with a list of what I bought, for who, and who I still need to buy for.

We have a Walmart in our city, but we don't have any other big stores, so my sister and I go to Hadley because they have a mall with Target, BB, CC, etc and Walmart is across the street. The other thing is that when we went to Chicopee after it opened a couple of years ago, they ran out of most of the doorbusters but we went to Hadley after and they had everything we were looking for so that is where we are going if we go to Walmart this year. We don't like the Holyoke Mall on BF, we would rather go to the Hampshire Mall, it is less crowded. Kmart is in Holyoke, on the way to mall but we haven't gone there on BF in a few years, but I am going this weekend to put on a layaway with the My first Craftsman tool bench $39 in flyer and coupon for 50% off and layaway fee is $1 for up to $200 layaway.

What is a good Christmas Idea for Uncles
tjredsox4 replied to doublehsmom's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
If your uncle drinks coffee, how about gc to Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks or some other coffee place that is around you or if you have either of these how about a bag of fresh ground coffee from these places. A couple of years ago I bought my dad and uncle each a bag of regular roast Dunkin Donuts coffee ground up while I was there. They also have flavored beans such as hazelnut, french vanilla, etc. This would go well with home made cookies or bread (banana, cranberry, etc.) -
Hi, I give my kids pj's and slippers or pj's and socks or their Christmas outfit as a gift from me. They get to open that one gift on Christmas Eve that way the gift doesn't get mixed up with Santa gifts and they don't get confused.
-
Another way to give gift cards is to wrap them in boxes, when I was younger, my father would wrap a small gift or a $50 bill in a small box, then wrap it in a bigger box and then bigger and bigger until everyone was trying to guess what it was. If he likes to read, how about a GC to barnes and noble or some other book store near you. My brother used to love Star Wars and for his birthday and Christmas every year, I would buy him Star Wars books that took place after Return of the Jedi and before Star Wars. He loved getting them. If he doesn't have a cell phone or is limited on minutes, how about putting a phone extension in his room or giving him his own number if you can afford it and buy the phone to go with it. I got my own phone line and loved it. Good Luck
