I just put a layaway on this week. The pick up date is December 5. This is earlier than it usually is but works perfectly for my pay day.

Sometimes Walgreens has coupons or good deals on some things. I have found things there.

Make up a trivia game regarding black friday and things about it. You could probably come up with some stumpers. Trivia is fun and some of the answers could end up being funny depending on what was asked.

Yesterday I found 2 MM, its been a while since I found any. I didn't find very many clearance items at my store. I did find a color wonder finger paint set but that was all they had clearanced at my store for color wonder. I will have to try back next week after I get paid again.

We still have one or two in the area but I don't like to drive and they are too far away for me. The Holyoke Mall is someplace I go all the time especially when I want to go to Target and check on clearance. I hope some other people who like the store and lost theirs get temporary ones for the holidays.

I saw in the paper today that KB Toys is going to open some temporary stores in areas where some were closed for the Holiday season. They will open around November 6. I can't wait, that means we are getting one at the Holyoke Mall at least for the holidays. The article also said that if some stores do real good, they may decide to keep a few open even after the holidays.

I just picked up a layaway that I had. There is a $5 fee. The cancellation fee is only if you cancel layaway and don't get your stuff. If you decide you don't want something pay for whole order and pick up then return at service desk and there are no fees. I returned one of my items but did it at service desk after picking up layaway. Also, usually at one point before holidays they have one week where they waive the layaway fee, at least they did last year. My sister did put stuff on layaway BF last year. The Marshall's in my area also does a one month layaway. This is my favorite way to shop since money is always tight. I get paid every two weeks and the payments coincide with my pay weeks.

My worst BF experiences are any year that I go to the Chicopee Walmart. Everybody lines up but the minute they open the doors and people who were still sitting in their cars run up and some cut in before the cops realize it or somehow get by the cops. Then I can usually not find or get everything I need because they have run out. One of these years I was going to do a layaway and the line was all the way through the store. I also had my 3 month old son with me that year. But if I go to a different store, I don't usually have those problems.

I think that they should have maps showing where specials are located. Wal-mart did this last year at the one I went to. More cash registers open and more police, security guards or employees to make sure that people do not cut when doors open.

My sister has purchased size 4X maternity jeans from JCPenny.com and occasionally can find some of those sizes at the JCPenny outlet store.

I do transcription at home so I can take off whenever I want, but it helps that the accounts I work on are closed for the holiday. One of them is the doctor's office I used to work at and they are off with pay. Can't wait to shop, just hope my sister doesn't have her babies that week. I told her to wait till we're done shopping or the next week.

My dd is 12 and she wants a pink digital camera, a camera cell phone (pre-paid), minutes for phone, Nintendo DS, some games for that, some movies and cd's and anything with Jonas Brothers on it. She originally wanted a WII but changed her mind. My dd also like gift cards to AE, aerie, Hollister, etc. Good luck

I went last night and got my sister to go with me. I found one Transformer hooded towel for 2.xx and a clear tote on wheels for 4.xx. I found 7 MM and bought them all. I gave my sister 2 for her kids for school and kept the rest. We checked out the newborn diapers for 4.xx and she bought 2 since she is pregnant with twins. She said she may go back and get more when she gets paid. She was surprised at the things I could find. Thanks to all who posted any deals. I have definitely started Christmas shopping and birthday shopping for summer birthdays.

They don't have the regular size dolls, but Barnes and Noble has some small dolls(about 11" I think), books, and some minor accessories.

I went yesterday and most of the Dollar Spot was empty. I couldn't walk through the Easter section, too many people and employees. A lot of our clearance was on endcaps in paper products including stationary, some purses, etc. I got 2 folders in pink and white with the opposite color skulls for $.24 each. Other than that did not find anything else of value.

Went today and found 6 MM apple. I also got 16x20 velvet art poster 1.48, Dora vivid velvet .48, Nemo color catcher 1.24 squeege eraser for dry erase board or chalk board 1.48, Reeves Paint & Race Car kit 1.48. Also got the $1 popcorn and soda deal for ds2. Not a bad day.

I went today to get the full size jersey sheet set for $9.99 (in ad). I love the jersey sheet sets and all sizes are this price this week. I found Rose Art crayons for .37 my son wouldn't put back so I bought those and a set with crayons, markers and paints for 1.98. I saw but didn't buy eraser for dry erase board for 2.xx and kit with marker, eraser, and cleaner for 4.xx May go back later this week for these.
