  1. I have 12 people go with me usually. I don't need anymore buddies. I about threw one out of my SUV last year to make room for my purchases. LOL!!!
  2. Eh... it's iffy. Depends on what store you are at. If you are at a 24/7 store, I could see doing this. (for example: last year, I went to WalMart to get a doorbuster. I got there at midnight. [the next person didn't show up until 2 AM] and myself and my friends would switch places while the others went to Electronics and played Rock Band they had setup. LOL!)
  3. Mine is EXTREMELY simple. Fruit + Dip Fruit -Any kind of fruit you like. Melons are REALLY good, as are apples, grapes, and strawberries. Dip 1 (3 oz.) jar marshmallow creme 2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese (optional) teaspoon of Ginger (optional) teaspoon of Cinnamon (optional) crushed pineapple Set the cream cheese out to soften, then mix the ingredients. Put it in a festive holiday bowl, cut the fruit into pieces, and use little toothpicks for dipping. It's SOOOOO good!! Edit: I would put my grandmother's recipe for Pumpkin Bread... but it's a secret. :)
  4. 6 years and loving each and everyone of the next.
  5. I think we can all relate. I'm "hoping" to spend less this year on BF, but knowing myself, I probably won't. One thing I've heard people do is buy a Visa Gift Card with a specific amount on it and use nothing over that gift card. Seems like a cool idea... but I'm not sure I have the will power to stick to just a piece of plastic. :/
  6. I don't think it will hinder people from shopping. You may see some people being more cautious, but not skipping BF all together. I had the flu a few weeks ago... it really does suck.
  7. Over the past years, I've found myself being more "want" oriented rather than need. For example, I bought 2 LCD TV's for a basement bar we were building... I didn't "need" them... but for the price, couldn't pass it up.
  8. I think kimpooh19 should get a shirt for all that hard work. lol.
  9. Hmmmmmm...... (ponders away in thought)

  11. The funniest thing I've seen... people walking in and out of a store all bundled up like they are going to be outside for days and days... only to find that the store is open 24/7.
  12. On Turkey Day... I'm eating my brains out. :) Then I go to the stores immediately afterward.
  13. At this point, prices online are pretty awesome. I'm not sure if I can stand waiting or not. There are too many items to list... but there's some good deals online. Better than normal I might add.
  14. Nothing here yet... but as soon as I see something, I'll post a link to it.
  15. Here are some graphics from Snow Day... they were about the best last year... this is for this year. http://aquate.us/u/2nd_b_t.bmp http://aquate.us/u/new_pre.bmp http://aquate.us/u/ice_map.bmp http://aquate.us/u/WINTER_.bmp
  16. Guys... don't take NOAA for much. They are the ONLY ones forecasting a drier and average temperate winter. Most sources are saying cold and snowy for the winter. One of the best sites that I have found is http://snowday.community.officelive.com/default.aspx
  17. This is an easy one. I'm a geek... so... iCon: Steve Jobs.
  18. Just know that if you put a lot of games and videos on it... that 8GB's will fill up QUICK. I have a 32 GB iPhone 3G S and I never thought I would fill it up as much as I have. Just take that into consideration. You may want to consider the upgrade to a larger capacity.
  19. Flip HD is always a fun little device. I am a videographer and use pro-grade HD cameras, and in good lighting, the Flip HD looks close to the same. :)
  20. Black Friday + NO Camping = DOES NOT COMPUTE It's a tradition, and part of the BF culture that you camp out. lol.
  21. I'm not from Canada, but I have heard people going down to NY and shopping. What about when going over the boarders? Any problems with that? I'm not sure how all that works.
