Do you think retailers will still have older models available? We do not want one with a camera...so no 4th gen for us. My 14 yr old can use it at school to help with organizing, etc. as long as no camera. I have been told we should get a 3rd gen 32gig ( is that right? drawing blank on the number right now) so that he will have a mic so that he can just speak into it if he needs to leave homework messages for himself, etc. Not sure we can swing it, though, so looking at 2nd and 3rd gen with less storage and maybe a mic that plugs in or something to get around the lack of external mic. Just wondering if there is a really good deal to be had on older versions becasue it may get washed!!

I am so underimpressed that I may not even go out this year. We have a few things we need, none of which have really shown up in sales and, if they did, the prices aren't worth the effort. Don't even see any video games for my kids. I am hoping maybe Amazon will have some deals for me. I got a few good deals online with them last year.

I feel like I am not going to get any good deals on any of the things we need to buy this year. :-( As the kids get older, it surely gets harder. What we need gaming-wise is the new Udraw that comes out very soon for Wii and PS3 motion for two kids. It looks like setting two kids up with motion for PS3 is gonna cost a bunch. If anyone has seen any deals or sees any, please post. Thanks!

I ordered several things successfully online last year. We were at Disney World and didn't want to stop the fun to Christmas shop plus we had the kids with us. I got a great deal for my daughter on a dsi from Amazon with free shipping. I never found a better deal once my son decided he too wanted one. it arrived as promised with no glitches. If you watch this site closely, they are great about letting you know when different sales will begin, etc.

The deal at Best Buy also has a free $10 gift card included......if you can catch it in stock. I have had no luck around here. Even the stores show out of stock. I do think they have some white bundles in stock, though. My ds wants blue but....he may be out of luck. Also the pink deal at Dell is a good deal...if you are shopping for a girl. It is still available tonight.

Thanks for the link and for the extra 15% code. I used both. Most items were not available in my son's size, but I did get a nice quilted coat, tshirt and a fleece thermal longsleeve shirt. I hope they fit.

We shop there quite a bit because they carry plus sizes and my dd 10 loves to layer. I only shop with coupons or J-Bucks, though, and hit the clearance as much as possible. There were quite a lot of things on the clearance racks but the sizes in our store for PJs and other items were seriously picked over. My dd now wears a 14 reg in shirts and most pants and there were few to be found. I think everyone has been hitting the store with thier coupons. I did get alot of stocking stuffers for Walmart or cheaper prices so not bad. And, I bought dd the outfit she had begged for earlier. Premium super skinny jeans and a black and purple baby doll style top with shiney stuff. lol I used my $25 off $50 cards and got each piece for about $17. Not too bad for a special, Christmas gift and the clothes from Justice have held up very well for us ( except for the swimsuits). The deals were better last Christmas but there are still deals to be found.

Shucks! HAve looked and looked for a deal on this. Can't find one anywhere. Of course, it is the only thing that both kids have begged for for months!

My daughter got the white dsi with teh Brain Age games loaded on it from Amazon BF. She had been saving for it. Anyway, now DS 13 wants one. I did find one at Dell for $154 but he wants the games. I told him he may be out of luck but thought I'd ask again if anyone has seen any other DSi deals?!

I just took advantage of this deal. My dd is buying one for herself. She has been saving. So I was thrilled to find her a better deal. Had planned to get one of the BF deals maybe at Target but this actually worked out equally as well since I paid no tax and stood in no lines. ( We have been standing in lines at Disney World all week so were not looking forward to that part so much.) That is a pretty good savings for her. My dh had put it in the cart at BB then saw the tax was going to be $15 and then there was shipping. So...AWESOME deal on a white DSi! Thanks!

There are a few things we would like like the Dsi combo with $20 gift card and a few other video games. We bought the samsung front loader washer and dryer set today for the same price ( plus free delivery and carry off) they have listed in the add. So....not worth standng in line but would love to get the games. So far it looks like Target for us. Will Target match BB's add? Hmmm...

I'm excited. We bought a set today and the pedestals. They did not have a delivery date until next Friday so i do not have them yet but.... We went there to see if they would price match the Conn's add for an LG set with similar specs and no steam with free pedestals. We did not think we were eligible for this deal because we neglected to activate our RewardZOne card a few months back when we got it and did not have the coupon. They told us about the deal and we decided to give it a try since it had steam and a few more functions. Hope we like it when we get it. Still a big purchase for us but guess you can't beat 50% off plus teh Rewards benefits.

Yep. $99 now. Darnit...and out of stock for shipping. We could have used this for our Disney trip.

We just bought GH5 for Wii with the drumset and mic ( we already have two wireless guitars) for $119 w/free shipping and the new Van Halen game will be shipped to us for free when it is released. I think this was a very good deal. This will be my 13 yr olds big gift probably. We also got a very good deal from the website for his birthday this summer. You can get on their email list so you are notified of specials. I'm hoping to find some kind of deal on BandHero for my dd. I know she would love it and ds would enjoy some of it. I am also looking for the new Disney Singit pop songs so I can hear her sing something different. lol I don't think these two are released yet. Then we are also looking for a deal on Wii Sports Resort and Need for Speed SHift for PS3. The games are so expensive and I really want to be able to get a few other things they need/want. I guess we will have to see if there are deals out there.

Looks like any shopping we get to do will be in Orlando since we are taking the kids to Disney Thanskgiving week. :) We have to limit the size of what we can buy but it will not keep us from shopping if there are good deals.

You probably know soomeone with a drawer full of older phones that got put in the drawer when they upgraded. We asked at church one Sunday when we needed one and several people offerred us decent phones with cameras that they were no longer using. Also, consider ebay. Sometimes you can find good deals there. We have bought phones off of ebay twice. Good luck.

When I first saw this post, it showed out of stock. I just checked back and got two! My friend had me looking for one for her. Decided to get us one, too, since everyone else seems to think they are so great. Glad to finally get it....should be here for Christmas. Do I need any accessories to start using it right away?

Dangit. I missed it. That would have been a great deal. I bought for $29 and thought that was good but...$18 would have been better!

My kids may have to wait and see if they get Christmas money from someone. I don't usually pay this much for any game.

Has anyone found a sell anywhere for this game? It is so expensive but I know my family, espeically ds, would enjoy. I'm pretty much done except for finding this game.
