Planning is in full swing for 2014! The Vacationers have already bought their new 8 person command center and there are some great deals on other tents and supplies going on sporadically. We recently purchased a zero gravity chair as well.

I picked up more Blurays STILL (as of Sunday night) at the Black Friday price at Walmart. There were a ton of movies and TV shows, although the selection is now narrowed.

Every item from Walmart and Best Buy came in.

We bought them while camping out. (PS4s)

Just saw the last one. A great war, ended by Bill Gates!

Walmart had the tablets, printers, and tons of other stuff. The cheap TVs were gone. Movies were no problem, always available except where deception took place as in my previous thread. The Steelbook Blurays were plentiful and are now on secondary sellers lists on Ebay and Amazon!

With all of the crazy camping weather, I did not see anything that Jumped out and said "buy me" from Amazon. I am hoping for another great PC game sale from Steam and Amazon like last year. Best Buy failed to bring out any second and third wave deals, which was ok by me. I wanted to be done with the sale and not have to wait around for the secret items.

It was a really sad showing for them, and they may as well admit that their attempt to be more like Walmart was a dismal failure.

Well, from the look of things, that was the best they were willing to offer. Only the XBOX One was a surprise. With the problems it is having, I will count it a swing and a miss. my overall experience was great, but we never expect much other than the consistent quality of items that they offer.

To sum it up, according to the majority of shoppers, Best Buy WAS having a tent sale! Who am I to argue with them?

This was a limited supply item. the tickets were given out at 6PM. Our store had 5. I gave my ticket to a very deserving navy family.

We had A local woman show up and claim her shirt! Thank you all for participating!

If i was at the end of the line, I would have run in for a combo at the bell!

When they start making the CEO of Walmart personally accountable for these reactions to "Pallet Madness" will we then see a change to a ticketing system and safer experiences for shoppers. His statement was completely ridiculous and unprofessional to say the least.

We found this to be true. people voted with their absence until the dinner was over. We saw a lot of people show up at the last minute. The later sales drew in crowds and gave them an opportunity to buy the Samsung's and Insignias. My manager reported all of the good ones gone by the last sale. Normally, they would have been gone by the time that the main event was over. I am of the opinion that they will roll back the hours next year to 12 AM.

This was a leftover, only because it was evident by the way Walmart handled the sale of Monsters University. At a time when everything else was available, Monsters University was conspicuously absent, even in the regular protected case section in the electronics dept! Sure, you could find the more costly set edged in silver, but where was the $9.99 version? I just happened to make one more trip the next day, (Friday) and go figure, there were 3 sitting there in their cases! I took them up to the register, and they rang up at $9.99! I also cleaned up on put-backs as well. I later called my partner and you could hear his wife screaming with excitement when he told her that I had found her one!

We had a rough night last night. Rain and wind. Now the cold and winds. We had to set up again after the wind blew over the main screen center. Having a good time though.

Funny you should mention that. Wet here also. Up next is the. Cold.

Crazy like a fox!

Just a seconnd ago, a guy cuts in between the command center and the supply tent. He is really looking over the tent and looking over the goodies inside. Keep in mind that I am reclining in a camp chair observing this. Impressed, he turns around and is startled by my presence. Another long line of customers who obviously believe that these tents are being sold here today.
